    Everyone from sales to service departments was courteous and very helpful with any questions I may have had. The service dept. was excellent with explanation of what would happen during the service and the price tag attatched to it.very knowledgeable and friendly at a price you can't beat. I will definitely use this provider in the future!!!

    It went like crap! I contacted the parts department to see about the new ignition recall on ALOT of vehicles. Granted I understand there is no real fix yet, there is a repair description in place at the moment for temporary. It says "Dealers are to install two key rings and key covers on all ignition keys free of charge". So as I am halfway through reading this to him he interrupts me and tells me "there is nothing we can do right now as the status is incomplete!" He used a very stern voice. At this point I said fine I will just call GM regarding your service and denial to put customers in the number one running spot. Its probably because it is a recall and they don't want to lose a drop of money. Always has been an over priced crappy garage and half the time don't fix what is really the problem, instead take you around the problem so you keep coming back.

    I haven't done business with them for a long time. I was treated real well with the limited experience I had with them. They couldn't fix the problem so they didn't charge me anything, which was very good. They were professional. They were honest and fair because they couldn't fix the specific problem.

    Car was towed to their facility on Wednesday. They did not look at it until Monday and could not fully diagnosis the damage. On Tuesday they called and said as far as they could tell the 3rd cylinder was shot and that they felt it would be wasting our money to continue trouble shooting as the repairs would run in the thousands.

    Urka Auto Center is professional, friendly, and has competitive prices.  Once my vehicle had to be in for the majority of the day.  So they drove me to work and picked me up from work once my vehicle was finished.  Their waiting room is very nice and there is always fresh popcorn and coffee waiting for you.  There is even a small area for children to play at if the kids are with you.  Urka Auto Center is also engaged in the local community, including being on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army.

    We use the Pennzoil 10 minute oil change service for both of our cars. They do a great job. They are very fast and knowledgeable with the work they do. All in all, we are very pleased with this service provider.

    Provider was to change my oil, but I was advised after a long time that
    they could not get the plug off the oil pan because it was stripped and
    there was a code 82 on dash (means to change oil) so they rejected the
    work order.  Funny how that last time it was changed, there was nothing
    wrong with the plug.  How dumb to refuse to change oil because code 82
    means to get the oil changed

    I trust them (hard thing to do in the auto business).  They got rid of the code on the dash that means change your oil, I couldn't figure that out.  They do everything, brakes, exhaust, wheel bearings, tires.  (all these things I have had done there)/  Everything done on first come basis.

    All went well. I had an older battery well beyond the warranty period. It failed on a couple occasions, but accepted a trickle charge. I took it in to Great Lakes and they tested it. I was told it was going bad, but I could probably get by for a least a few months more. I decided to get a new battery for peace of mind. They didn't try to sell the battery from the beginning, like most service providers I have encountered in the past. They also didn't try to up-sell me when I chose one with a three year warranty. I appreciate that they don't ever try to get me to buy something I don't need or want and they always explain any service issues in detail.
    I have had both my vehicles serviced at Great Lakes Automotive for five years now. Their prices are comparable to or better than the local service providers in Ludington. Service is provided on an appointment basis, but on the few occasions that I've had unexpected problems they've always managed to fit me in. Over the years they have proven their business to be reputable and fair.
