    Service Professor Inc
Within 15 minutes of clicking the Angie List submit button, I was contacted by a dispatch person at Service Professor. Appt was setup for the next business day. Received text message and e-mail confirmation along with picture of tech 30 minutes before he arrived. Adam was on time and very courteous / professional. He explained everything in simple terms and provided an electronic estimate. Work was completed in a timely manner and I believe the issue was resolved. I am very satisfied with the service I received and would definitely recommend Service Professor to my friends and family. I will be a returning customer. My faith in customer service has been restored!

    Integrity Plumbing and Mechanical
Integrity Plumbing and Mechanical completed the job on schedule and in a professional manner. The building had already been prepped for the Sunday service, so on Saturday I returned to inspect the work and clean if needed. I actually had to look to see if a new toilet was installed because they left no "construction trail" anywhere. The building was as clean as they found it. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

It went great. They arrived when they said they would, and they were in and out in no time flat. They even did a great job cleaning up. Toilet works great and it was certainly a great price for the toilet and installation.

    THORNAPPLE RIVER PLUMBING
Very well.  Repaired the tub/shower first then checked washer (problem turned out to be with washer, not water supply).  He came at the time/on the date planned and was professional and personable.  Will absolutely call back should another plumbing issue arise, and will highly recommend to friends.

Affordable Plumbing and Property Maintenance Inc.
Bottom line - we have decided to go elsewhere. Our house has a 10-year old 65 gallon water heater and we are going to replace it in the interest of preventative maintenance.  The representative from Affordable Plumbing told us that 65 gallon tanks were no longer available, and we would have to choose either 50 or 75.  Not a big deal, but read on. They presented a quote in both sizes with good, better, best options, the only apparent variable being the length of the warranty. When the representative presented the quote, he also presented an invoice for $49 for the "evaluation".  I paid it, although this charge was not mentioned when I made the appointment.
I went on the Bradford White web site so I could try to learn about the differences in the good, better, best scenarios.  The web site has dozens of options. So I called Affordable and asked them to give me the model numbers that were quoted on so I could do the research.
The first thing they said was the "good" option was no longer available.  Okay.  They gave me 2 model numbers. I looked them up and one was for high altitude (2000 feet above sea level) I live in Lowell at about 750 feet above sea level. I called again and asked for some clarification.  To this day, I have not heard back from them.
Since I haven't heard back from them, I can only conclude that the good-better-best thing was all baloney.  Differentiation through obfuscation.
I have since had two other companies give me quotes.  Neither one had any problem locating a 65 gallon unit.
Neither one charged me $50 for the opportunity to quote.  Finally, Affordable pricing was the highest of the three who quoted.
I guess you can name your company anything you want, but in my opinion, Affordable is a misnomer.

They came over and did a complete evaluation of our house to determine the proper size furnace.  They explained the pros and cons of the various options and the costs associated with each.      We were a bit pressed for time and they were able to fit us in despite it being winter and the holiday season.
The work was done quickly and professionally.   There was a small unintended event where some pvc glue spilled on our new white freezer, but it's ithe basement, so no big deal.
The furnace has worked fine and follow up questions were answered quickly.

    EverDry Waterproofing of Grand Rapids

The many members of the team worked diligently to get the work done. They alerted me ahead of time to cover things as the dust would be significant (as it was). They were always courteous and polite as they worked to get the job done in as little time as possible.

They even allowed me to have better anchoring of the walls done than what was first proposed by the initial production team. So, I was impressed by this company's way of providing better service than first expected. I have since had the ability to warrant the work with them. I have been happy to think that I have had this service done with all of the storms that have brought more rain and flooding to the Flat and Grand rivers in Lowell.

Otherwise, I would have them do the same work, again.

Thank you, EverDry Waterproofing for all your hard work.

    Service Professor Inc
Excellent Service!  Paul arrived promptly and thoroughly inspect all the plumbing in my home.  Since I bought the house about a year ago and was uncertain of the condition of the plumbing, I was delighted to receive a full and detailed report on the condition of the water tank, pipes, outside water bibs, well connections, faucets and shutoffs.  I was amazed and how thorough he was! He also flush the hot water tank, made adjustments to the temperature and completed dye tests on the toilets.  Afterwards we discussed several improvements that he would recomeend and was given a written estimate for my future repair planning.
I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in future projects involving plumbing.

    Maynard's Water Conditioning LLC
Well what I dislike is that they tried too hard to sell me a water softener, and they took a water sample and I never heard back about my water sample.  Just very pushy about trying to sell you the pump. And the guy, the last time that I did approach him, it was snowing out, and he stomped through my house with the snow on his shoes.  Even though they are supplied booties.

It was 160.00 to put in the system, and 20.00 a month after. It includes changing the filters.

    THORNAPPLE RIVER PLUMBING
Thornapple River Plumbing are great. I thought I had a leaky pipe but it was actually that my faucet on my shower wasn't installed tightly enough and was leaking from there. He sealed it all up for me. He asked me if I had more ceiling tiles because of the tiles on the ceiling underneath getting damaged. He was going to put the tiles in for me, but I didn't have any on me. He was in and out. I called him on Monday and he said he could be there Tuesday at noon. He called me in the morning and said he could be there earlier. He came and got the job done. He cleaned up after himself and was very nice. He ended up charging me less than he originally thought it was going to be, when he thought it was a leaky pipe.
