    Do not put your pet's life in Dr. Sheehy's hands. My dog had surgery and died the next day. Dr. Sheehy used my friend's shirt to attach the drain tube, very unprofessional. She was very cold, even after my dog died. She and practice manager Tracy were too busy covering themselves and changing stories to be concerned or sympathetic. I will never know the cause of death, but my dog had no symptoms before he laid down and never woke up. They never got him fully out of the anesthetic to see how he was reacting, and that alone is an issue whether or not it caused his death. He had to be put on a stretcher to get in the car, but I thought he was still sleepy from the anesthetic. I didn't know any better, but was trusting medical professionals to know, like so many of us do. He should've walked to the car, according to several veterinarians I talked to, but he did not (Tracy even later told someone that called for me that my dog walked out, even though she wasn't there that day - covering for Dr. Sheehy). They were closing and wanted to get him out, but should've recommended I take him to an after hours facility. They had to have known it wasn't right, but just probably never figured that he would die. They should be ashamed of themselves for letting him go, and for how they handled everything after. I will have guilt for the rest of my life. My dog was my everything, and I was his.

    They've got great prices. They've got great prices. They're good people but they are not people people. They are really rude. They are nice to our pets. They are animal people like completely but they're just not people people. They don't do reminder calls for like when your appointment is. They're like when you're due for vaccines. You kind of have to keep a lot of that stuff yourself. Their prices are by far the best in the area. We've got three dogs and a cat.

    I don't go to vets very often and this was my first time here. I did not have to wait and didn't have to compete with other animals. Vet, Vet techs and receptionist were good and nice. They performed some tests that seemed elaborate.

    This was our fourth dog and our first dog that we got in Livonia, we got from someone else and they were moving and that���s where they went so that���s why we made the transition. Once each pet passes you know you get a new pet, and we���ve just continued that contact with the same veterinarian.

    She is very good and we are happy with her. She was always very caring and kind when we had to say goodbye to our other dogs. She went above and beyond to search for answers with one dog, which we appreciated.

    Everything went well.  The staff were all friendly and helpful.  The doctor was wonderful---very caring  and gentle.  While we were there, he also gave Cody a good overall exam and the shots that he needed.  They trimmed his nails and checked his teeth.  This was a most pleasant experience for all of us.  We would definitely use this clinic again and recommend them to others.

    I recently moved to the area and have  been looking for a new vet for my three cats.  Dr. Switch and her vet tech called when they were running late and were then on time for the new appointment time.  She was friendly and confident and the first vet I had talked to since moving to Livonia that I liked. She discovered my cat had hyperthyroidism, caught it early, and we are now treating him.  So far I am very happy.

    Warning BEWARE!! Our Baby Boy was dead in our arms within minutes of his arrival at home on Tuesday July 21, 2015.
    We know sometimes things can go wrong when our loved ones go through a surgery but nothing could prepare us for what had happened with our baby boy that day, we lost our beloved pet in the blink of an eye with no time to prepare, it hurt a lot specially because of the lack of empathy, caring and even remorse from the veterinary who performed his surgery, to this day not a single "I'm sorry for your loss" came from his mouth or even any staff who worked in that place. So, here is what happened to us that you need to avoid and don?t put your pet's life in their hands.
    On July 21, 2015 we had scheduled a SOFT TISSUE surgery for our pet that had grown a large mass rapidly on the lower stomach area, yes, the veterinary warned us that sometimes a pet can die in the process because their body is unable to handle
    such drastic changes but he saw the dog, he knew how old it was, he told us that he has removed even bigger tissues than that of the size of my baby boy and he never, never said "I recommend not to do it for X or Y" not once did he give us any other choice. I Left my dog in their hands with the hope that my baby boy would go for walks again, that he would enjoy playing in the park and meeting his friends. So when I got their call around 1:00 PM that day and when they told us that everything went great, we were so happy, they even told us that he was doing so great we could pick him up at 4:00 PM and that he didn?t need to stay there overnight, something that was surprising to us since he had just undergone such a large procedure.
     When I arrived around 3:45 PM another veterinary gave me more instructions, before they put him in my car I was shocked
    because he was all bleeding and the staff took several towels cleaning around but the veterinary said it was okay and that he would be bleeding and discharging fluids for a couple of days as he was referring to and explaining before. I knew deep in my heart it wasn?t right but I wanted to believe his words so as soon as he was in my car I made my way home calling my husband to
    let him know?. Not soon after I arrived and carried him to the bed that I had prepared before I left he died, he died within minutes in my arms, and we could not believe what was happening, Our baby, that we had rescued almost eleven years ago now and loved and cared for everyday, went so fast there was no time for anything. We lost him and we felt robbed of time. The shocking aftermath was the lack of care, understanding and remorse those people who work in that place had?..Beware, because they don?t care. We are mourning and missing our boy, the house is empty and the silence hurts the's not something we want anybody else to experience. BEWARE!!!

    The vet saw Cody again in two weeks and declared that the eye had completely healed.  We were extremely pleased with the kindness and professionalism of the vet and the whole staff.  This will definitely be Cody's vet from now on!

    Our veterinary service we're really happy with. They have several clinics and they have different names like Livonia Veterinary Hospital or Kershaw. Those two are the same company but they have different names. It's always good. The vets are really nice and very knowledgeable, and we've been using them for many, many years and many times. The staff are very professional. The office environment is friendly.
