The roofing crew came out,  removed the old roof, installed the new roof, replacing some board

s, and installed new vents, including one for our bathroom fan to be connected to, which hadn't been done when our bathroom had been remodeled. The work was completed the next day, and they left the dumpster for us to dispose of any things we had in our garage or house that we wanted to dispose of. The gutter crews came out a few days later when the weather was good, two crews as a matter of fact, and installed our new gutters, with guards, and a hinged downspout extension in the back yard I asked for. It went amazingly quick, looked great, and my wife approved, which is what counts. All in all a great professional job by people who know what they are doing. We had this company do work for us before on our garage, straightening a sagging roof, and installing a new roof. Terry Burke is honest to a fault, very knowledgeable, patient, cost competitive, and does not try to sell you anything not needed. He doesn't want he final payment until we are completely satisfied with the project done.

Jeff was the best, I don't think anyone could have done a better job. If you had seen my old bathroom and what he had to work with, you  would call him a miracle worker. It turned out beautiful ! He was easy to communicate with and listened to what my bathroom needs were, then followed through. He also gave me some excellent ideas which helped a great deal. He was always prompt and would be on the job when he said he would be. I never had a problem with dust from any of the demo work or from the installation of the new dry wall.He cleaned up before he left, I didn't have to do a thing. I had a budget and he was willing to work with me on price. Jeff is an excellent contractor and I would highly recommend him. I will be using him again in the near future.

    Romana Construction
Romana Construction did a fine job on my kitchen.  Once the contract was signed, their man Mike kept the workmen coming on a regular basis and when there was any type of delay with the work he was quick to inform me and let me know when the work would resume.  I was told that the entire project would take about six weeks, and the work was finished in a little under that.  The workmanship was fine throughout, and my new kitchen looks great.

    A1 Bargain Plumbing
First, Kevin was diligent in showing me and explaining all the errors the company that renovated my bathroom made before he started work. Second, I had been advised by another plumber I had broken sewer tile. Kevin investigated and found the problem was clusters of tree roots invading the system. Jetted the entire line, no replacement was needed which would have cost thousands of dollars had I contracted the first company for replacement. Also replaced a leaking laundry tub faucet. In addition did a few small projects without charge.. Very satisfied with work and the time taken to show and explain all work..

Kurtis Kitchen & Bath - Woodhaven ( Relocated)
It  was good to work with a knowledible designer.  All the workers were polite, professsional, pretty much on time.  My kitchen looks beautiful.  They let us do the demo work and the backsplash tile.  Everything went pretty smooth except for the cast iron sink was lopsided  and had to be reordered.  But they took care of it fast.  A job well done.  5 stars in my book.  Thanks Kurtis, Kitchens and Baths for a job well done.  B & P Sanchez

The overall look turned out nice. There were several things that they said they would do in a certain way that they didn't. Later on, I discovered that one area. It was an inch or two and it was filled with spackle. I should have gotten down on my hands and knees and really looked at stuff. I wasn't really happy with the way they did some things. They didn't put the floor up high enough so they may have to anchor my toilet. They did a crappy job of caulking around to fill up the empty space. I didn't appreciate the way the attitude the guy has. The main guy who did it just had a really cocky attitude. Their professionalism is lousy because there are too many mistakes in there. it could have been done for a professional job.

It was not as good as I planned, but it was okay. There were a lot of extra charges. I upgraded materials and didn't use their materials. At the time there were a couple of people in the house that were bad.

The old ceiling was had water damage and was falling down.  It also had been patched several times previously, and had an ugly textured finish.  The Contractor demolished the existing plaster ceiling and cove and replaced it with smooth flat drywall.  The existing ceiling joists were far from being flat, more than an inch difference in some cases.  Contractor sistered new lumber to the existing joists to create a flat structure to which he could install the new drywall.  I had expected some sort of complication like this and also expected there to be a subsequent increase in cost due to the increase in project scope.  The additional cost was very fair.  He hauled away the debris and cleaned up after finishing the work.  The work was done in a timely manner.  I would definitely use this Contractor again and would recommend to others for similar type work.
