ABryan's Handyman & Home Improvement ServiceWe hired Bryan's Handyman & Home Improvement Services to remodel our condo to put it up for sale. The condo had not been modernized in 15 years. As a bonus we were able to use Bryan's wife, Christine, a realtor with Berkshire, Hathaway Fox & Roth of Robbinsville NJ. Chris was very instrumental with the remodeling decisions and her beautiful design enabled us to make a very nice profit on our sale. You might say, we were able to do one stop shopping which enabled us to sell our condo very quickly. Bryan's team was excellent. They were punctual - arriving at the time quoted and worked diligently, Their craftsmanship was excellent and they cleaned up when their job was finished for the day. ADinse Contracting LLCWe hired Brian and his team to remodel our outdated Master Bath and couldn't be more pleased. It is important to know that we were specifically looking for a contractor that we could trust as we are not local and needed the confidence that the work would be done perfectly without our day to day supervision. Before starting, Brian spent a ton of time with us discussing our goals and what some options might be to get the results we were looking for. Once the work was started, we were amazed at the attention to detail that was put into every step of the job by everyone on the team that was put into our work. At one point, we even went back and made different tile choices based upon Brian's observation of some defects in the tile we chose that we never even noticed. The work was smooth from beginning to end and Brian was in constant contact all along the way letting us know how things were progressing and bringing new ideas to our attention. Every member of their staff from the initial salesman to the workers laying the flooring was professional, courteous, and thorough. The workmanship on the walls showed a level of artistic craftsmanship that gave the whole basement the wow-factor. Ceiling, carpet and flooring are all top quality. Nate and Rolando went above and beyond doing their job. Nate cut and “puzzled-pieced” together over 700 square feet of barnwood making it look incredible. Rolando was meticulous in his prearation and skill in installing our brick. Most of all Matrix worked and communicated with us throughout the entire process to make sure the work was being done on time and the way that we had asked for. Jamie Verhines was an accessible, conscientious Field Manager who listened and made some important suggestions that made us feel confident that we were in good hands. AWe had to have mini split systems installed because the layout of our home wouldn’t be ideal for central air. Oak came in with a very professional estimator, up front pricing and financing, and always answered our calls. On the 2 days of install they arrived on time, with a full crew of two truck fully stocked with all of the supplies and equipment needed. They were coordinated, polite, ready, and the most organized operation I have ever seen.

FTo start- we had Jason come out for a quote. We had several items ranging from adding new outlets, to adding recessed lights in a few rooms, adding a 20 amp circuit, and various other items. Jason was great, and made everything seem like it was going to be seamless. A few weeks later (after a few other quotes), we decided to go with Don's. They were local, and comparable in price to the others (~$3500). Upon calling to move forward, we find out Jason wasn't with them anymore. Not enough to scare us off, so we proceeded. We were going to have the items completed over the course of three visits, at 4 hours each (2/11. 2/12, finishing on 2/15). The problems begin day one. The window was 12-1 show up time, and my wife calls at 1:15 to inquire where they are, and is told they will be there any minute. Finally showing at 1:45, claiming they had to go get their truck since the van they drove wasn't going to make it up the driveway. Apparently, there was supposed to be another person with him, but they 'threw their back out.' End of day one result: 2 outlets finished only- along with a request to shovel the end of a specific side of our two entry driveway- ok, annoying, but we obliged. We are unsure how you can work in a relatively rural area on the regular, and claim to not have trucks, when we drive by the Davisburg office every day, and there's at least one Silverado that has the same logos/info as all the other vehicles..... Leaving us feeling misled. Day two: They park fine, then take it upon themselves to use the other side of the driveway, and proceed to get stuck, and chew up part of the lawn. Upon being questioned, the response was, 'yea, we shouldn't have gone that way.' Mind you- it's not like we have a crazy Amazon adventure driveway, and there wasn't major snow. Day two result: 2 COMPLETED outlets, 1 partially finished outlet (cut too big, and left open- despite us having a 19-month old running around), 4 recessed lights installed (one of which doesn't work as it should), and a light switch (left open) that was cut too big. Day three (prior to snowstorm on Tuesday): No show at all for the 12-1 window(after claiming they intended on showing up early) . We receive a call at 12:45 claiming they couldn't make it up our driveway- which I questioned because there were no tracks indicating an attempt was made. Regardless, they wanted to reschedule to Saturday (today), but with the stipulation that we must have the driveway plowed- again, prior to the snowstorm. At this point, we have become frustrated due to the seemingly never ending problems. I spoke with the person at the office about our frustrations on Tuesday (2/16), we were told that the frustrations were something that needed to be discussed with the GM, and that he was unavailable at the moment, but would call us back. It is now Saturday, and here we are with no answers or anything. No calls, no nothing. So here we are holding the bag with incomplete work, and ready to just call somewhere else to FINISH the mediocre work that actually has been done, but to actually complete the rest of the work that was expected to be done (the biggest portion of course). Customer service is clearly an issue with these people. Issues are not swiftly taken care of, and it's certainly the customer's perception that THEY DO NOT CARE.

AI contacted Earth Orbit regarding recommendation to update indoor/outdoor lighting for a vacation home purchase. The response time was quick!! I also forwarded a video of the my walk thru of the property for review. I was quite surprised within a short period of time, I was emailed an complete write-up. The attention to detail in such a short period of time is almost unheard of with most contractors these days. Earth Orbit's Customer Service is nothing but exceptional & top notch !! I'm so excited to see the finish products & installation throughout my vacation home. I was also provided a full performance rating on each lighting unit. I clearly know without ANY doubt I picked the right company !!! Great Customer Service is rare & hard to find these days Earth Orbit truly STAND OUT FOR SURE....I WILL RECOMMEND THEM OVER AND OVER......oh and OVER AGAIN !!!!!
