They were the only service that answered my call on a weekend and I actually talked to a real person. The serviceman responded within 2-3 hours and cleaned my drain. He was polite, courteous and professional. He cleaned the line all the way to the road and because he encountered some tree roots, he advised they could not guarantee the work. He tried to sell me on using a camera in the line for another $150, but I declined. The charge was $224 which I felt was high, but I understand it was a weekend and they advertise they do not charge extra for weekends. He explained what he would do and the cost before he started so there was no surprise.

Discount drain cleaning came the same day I called. Arrived a little early after calling me to let me know they were on the way. They patiently explained what the issue was; fixed the problem & charged me what I was quoted over the phone. They were in and out in about 30 minutes. Cost was $110.00, about $15.00 less than I was charged by another company several years ago.

    Miteff Plumbing

They started by removing everything from the bathroom except for the toilet. I am an 81 year old woman with only one bathroom so this was a problem. Everyone who worked on the bathroom was very kind, professional and did their best to make things easy and comfortable for me, including one young man that made extra trips to make sure I had a working toilet every night. I've never worked with a more hard working, polite and caring group of young men. I had included replacing the sink drains behind the wall because I have had a slow draining or completely plugged sink drain many times. When they started doing this, they found a pipe that was starting to break so they had to replace that and the 4 inch waste and vent pipe from above the toilet to the basement floor. Shawn added a very moderate price to the original proposal. The bathroom is beautiful. They did an excellent job on the tiling, both on the floor and in the shower. I have absolutely no complaints on anything that was done to complete this project. I would highly recommend Miteff Plumbing for any project small or large. They deserve an A+ rating.

Jeremy was prompt and efficient. The toilets were fixed quickly and there have been no further problems. He also gave me a price break because the last time they were here there was a mix-up and they didn't get my message about the brand of toilet. Had they received the message, they would have had the correct gasket and the job would have taken less time. He does a great job and has a great sense of humor. I recently recommended him to a friend who had a backed-up drain and she was also very satisfied with Morey Plumbing!

My washing machine backed up into my shower downstairs after the first use (remodeling a house that had been unoccupied for a while). They arrived early, and got to work quickly, though I didn't appreciate that the man responded to my questions or explanations with an abrupt "I KNOW." I didn't feel that they explained what they were going to do very well to me - they said that they would go through the drain line in the shower to clear the line to the road, which they did. They also ended up opening my main and cleaning that out -they didn't block the sewer water from the main and left a puddle that took up half of a 12*12 room, almost reaching and ruining my new cement board for my shower and soaking some of the demo'ed building materials, leaving me materials soaked in sewage to pick up.
While the price was relatively small for almost two hours of work, they left quite a mess. They even left sewage all over the handles and doors that they used to enter the basement. I had to do hours of cleaning to get it all up. If they had just alerted me that they would be working on the main, I could have cleared that area and at least saved myself some work. They also didn't bring anything to block the sewage - just a single towel which was far from sufficient. If you're willing to deal with the mess, I would guess they are the least expensive in the business - for good reason. They did get the job done, and my drains are working well.

Called this morning and they were able to come out the same day.  They were right on time.  They ran their 100' snake and cleared the pipe, bringing back a good ball of roots.  Flushed the pipe and made sure it was emptying into the street sewer line freely.  Their price was much more reasonable than the other company I've used and they were done and gone within 45 minutes. They only had a regular sized bath towel to catch the sewer water coming off the auger and the root ball, and then used that dirty, soaked towel to wipe up the floor.  And they picked up most of the roots.  But I still had to go back and pick up pieces of roots and scrub the wall and floor around the clean-out.  For this reason, I only gave a B for professionalism.  All in all...I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Water started to come out of my floor sewer drain as I washed clothes and I noticed that the water drained very slowly.  I called Discount Drain around 2 p.m. on June 29 (a Sunday) and the phone was answered promptly.  The gentleman told me up front that there would be an extra charge if his crew came out that day but they had an open 9 a.m. appointment the following day.  I chose to wait until Monday.
The crew called me well before 9 a.m. Monday morning and told me they could be there in 15 minutes which was about 10 minutes before the 9 a.m. appointment time.  They arrived when they said they would arrive. They located and opened the clean-out drain, with some difficulty -- it had never been opened in 30+ years -- but once opened, they quickly cleaned many roots out of the sewer line that apparently caused the blockage and slow draining sewer.  They were there less than two hours and the work was completed to my satisfaction, including the clean up.  They recommended that I have the line professionally cleaned/cleared at least once every two years.

    Michigan Plumbing Inc
Michigan Plumbing employees were polite and helpful on the phone, and I was able to schedule an appointment at my convenience. The gentleman, Tom, who came to my house was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything very well. He did the work efficiently and thoroughly. I've had this issue before, and while it may have cost slightly less, I feel that this company did a much better job of making sure the work was done well and to the best possible outcome.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
Very prompt and responsive service.   The technician was very friendly and professional, responded to questions, and offered suggestions such as the water jetting which I my may consider as a longer term preventative maintenance service next fall (although the price quoted of $500 is excessive).   The main line auger was used and it adequately punched through the roots that were clogging the line.   The reason I gave the service quality a B, as opposed to an A, is that the auger still left a fair amount of roots at the top of the line even though the flow was restored.   I have had other cleanouts performed (by this company) that removed the roots to a greater degree.  Hopefully, the Root-X will cause the remaining root ends to thin out and retreat.  Overall, I am happy with the service and would use this company again.

    Allen's Sewer & Drain Cleaning
This guy is really great.  I called him at 9:00 a.m.  He returned my call by 9:30 and was at my house by 10:30.  Very friendly and professional with good sense of humor.  He believes in quality and ethics.  He is a veteran of the armed services.  I completely recommend this service.
