    CMG Construction, LLC
Company wrote wrong appt date down and still never showed upon speaking with him a second time. Sounds as if had lots of personal problems going on which appeared to have interfered with work performance and attendance.....No show,,, just talk saying he needed the job but in the initial conversation stated he had several jobs and would drop by my place while going to the other ones. I am totally disappointed in that I had a deadline to me with certain things in which he knew.

    Hankins Homescapes
I was referred to Mr. Hankins from my (now former) neighbor who had recently had his roof re-shingled. We met with Mr. Hankins, discussed prices and products, and secured his services. Prior to Mr. Hankins re-roofing my house, I had NO ISSUES. NONE. I had to replace it due to switching insurance companies, who cited that some of the shingles were curling and showing significant wear. Fast-forward 2 years after Mr. Hankins replaced my roof, and it sprung not one but 3-4 leaks---2-3 in my sunroom and one on the second story of my house. Water was coming through my smoke alarm and dripping steadily onto my newly installed flooring. I contacted Mr. Hankins, he came over and (thought he) "fixed" the leaks. I still have significant leaks in my sunroom---to the point where the ceiling is now destroyed (mold growing, drywall tape peeling off and drywall sagging) despite Mr. Hankins and his crew "fixing" the leaks without tearing off my roof. Which was the next step he was planning to take (I probably would have been charged for that despite his claim that the rep for the shingles company would pay labor and materials) until I put a stop to that. I've had two different roofing contractors inspect and give me quotes to repair and/or replace my roof----one told me to retain an attorney and BOTH asked me who the person/company was that repaired my roof. That was the turning point to my decision of ever having Mr. Hankins perform any further services on my home. He may be competitive with his prices, but his employees are either inexperienced or following Mr. Hankins instructions of "do it cheap, do it superficial to secure more business for us at a later time". I'm hoping that nothing goes wrong with the windows that he installed in my house (prior to fully realizing and understanding how his ethics are not up to par with what they should be), but I'm hesitant to put any faith into any work that he has done on my home. The pictures that I (hopefully) have uploaded were taken by both contractors who inspected my roof, one picture reflects a hole in the siding that is approximately the size of a half-dollar. Other pictures reflect the inconsistent lengths of shingles along the edge of my sunroom roof, clear caulk along the base of my chimney as opposed to flashing and water/ice shielding (which would prevent any issues with my chimney years down the road), J-channeling was not caulked at all which is why my sunroom ceiling is leaking and collapsing, among other things that are not captured in pictures. I would not recommend this individual or his company to do ANY work on my home again, and I hope that anyone considering using him will do the same. He talks a good game, but the end result will cost you dearly, as it did me. I've only had my roof for 5 years, and opted to have it replaced completely to prevent any further "lingering" damages.

Very responsive and preformed the job as stated within the initial quote. I had a leaky 4' by 4' section of flat roof that adjoins my master bedroom. The flat roof membrane was replaced and have not had any leaks since.

    Elieff Brothers Roofing Inc
Elieff Brothers is excellent. Steve Kinne is a great salesman who fully explained to me all the aspects of the job and showed their approach to be superior to the others I compared. The actual job went very well. The workers were very professional and came on time, worked long days and cleaned up fully after themselves. They put on a quality new roof which looks great and holds up to the elements. I trust them with the 20 year warranty to stand behind their installation. Steve was very nice to come by a second time for payment when I made a mistake with the first payment. I highly recommend Elieff Brothers!

    GUILFORD SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGHS
I e-mailed them asking for a quote three days ago, no response. So I called this morning, 9/13 at 10:30am and I left a voicemail stating that since the e-mail didn't work, I was calling to get a quote. No response to the voicemail.

    Bay to Bay Building Concepts
They seemed like a great company. The gentleman they had out to our house was friendly and we were planning on choosing this company but were completely turned off when they choose not to honor their coupon for $1000 off of $6000 for full roof repair. They gave us an orginal quote for $8100 and then found out by over hearing our conversation that Lowe's was willing to do $7500 so they said they would match Lowe's, which is only a $600 discount. They seemed to think that was fair even though the only reason we called them was because of the original coupon that they choose not to honor.

    Jimmerson Roofing Co
John Jimmerson responded with a request for an estimate within 1 day, and emailed the estimate to me that evening. Once I signed the contract for the repairs, he scheduled the work within a week, based on the weather conditions. I was very pleased with his availability, prompt responses, and the ease of making the arrangements quickly. This was very impressive compared to two other roofers I contacted. The work done was very satisfactory, and I would definitely recommend him.

    Palmer Construction
Great from start to finish. Unlike some other bidders, there was no high-pressure salesmanship when we discussed the quote. There was some lag between signing the contract and starting the job but we were well informed ahead of time and project manager Jake Strank kept us in the loop about any schedule changes (there weren't many). The guys were above-and-beyond patient with kids and dogs hovering around the site. They finished the job when they said they would. The house looks beautiful. The quote originally sounded high but when I added it all up--2 or 3 guys per day x more than 2 weeks plus all the extras we wanted--it seemed more reasonable. Thanks Jake & crew! I hope you'll be available when I get around to replacing the rest of the windows and refinishing the porch.

    Sunrise Seamless
I've had Sunrise Seamless complete 3 projects since moving into our home in 2016; replacement of gutters around front porch, installation of new gutters/downspouts around garage, and most recently, replacement of gutters around main house. 2 of the 3 projects went quite well. They are not very communicative in terms of scheduling. That said, the first 2 project completed while we were away at work and by the time we got home it was impossible to tell that anyone had been there - the work was done and our property was left immaculate. The last project was quite the opposite. Our property was left in terrible shape, metal shavings all over the back porch, gate to our back yard left open (we have 3 small dogs), mud and debris from the replacement all over the driveway and entry door, and dirt smeared down the corner molding of our siding (which happens to be white). I called and reported the condition and spoke to an office assistant. I was told the owner would look into it. I never heard back from the owner. I requested that they come out to clean up the siding and they did do that, though I had to call twice to get information about how/when it would happen. Adding insult to injury, I (the wife) have managed the bidding process, made 100% of all payments, approved the projects and coordinated all communications. Although I never heard from the owner about the latest project and my dissatisfaction with it, we did promptly receive an invoice for the remainder due...entirely addressed to my husband. Both odd and insulting. I however, have already scheduled final payment to be made ahead of the due date, as per my usual.

    Sunrise Seamless
Very professional! John Waters came over, gave a very thorough explanation of the process and our options. Price was about what I expected. Friday the temperature was above 50 degrees (necessary for installing the gutters) and the crew was on time and did a fantastic job. On Saturday a second crew came over and installed the gutter guards. Both crews were very professional and did a great job!
