Not only are my nephews intelligent, talented, handsome and hardworking, they know how to get things done! I had a list of about 10 things to be done from the simple to the complicated. They used there intellect to solve a problem with a table and they used their talents to professionally complete the many jobs. This included repairing an attic firewall, installing a door deadbolt, repairing a door closure AND digging a large hole for a favorite plant. They also drilled and installed nearly 50 cabinet pulls. I believe that these young men can do anything that comes their way including room remodel. Oh, and they cleaned up afterwards.

    HandyPro Handyman Service Inc
We had a great experience with HandyPro! Our handy man was Mark and we will request him in the future, he was great! He was friendly, worked quickly and did a fantastic job on all our projects. The price was very fair and we will recommend HandyPro to our friends and family.

    Superior Woodworking & General Contracting
Fantastic! Scott worked amazingly hard to get the many jobs done in a short amount of time. This did not affect the quality of his work either. He definitely prides himself on his workmanship, which is why we has been our contractor for all our four restaurants!

I put the project out for bid for 2 months and despite having a plan drawn up of what I wanted, I had many contractors overbid/underbid me because they wanted to offer me something different. Jerrod was one of the very few who offered me exactly what I had asked for and given that I was looking to establish a long-term business relationship with more than one project moving forward, I felt most comfortable with Jerrod and awarded him the job. Jerrod started and finished the job on-time with exceptional workmanship. The siding, doors, woodworking, concrete, shingling, ladders all turned out fantastic. If I could redo anything, I'd just make the blind on top bigger so I could have bigger windows and change my seating arrangement, but I digress - perhaps another project for another time. Given how things went on Job #1 - I wasted no time in awarding Job #2 to Jerrod to install the gates on my property which he just finished on Friday the 18th right on schedule as well, so I now have everything done in advance of my hunting season so I won't have hammers or nail guns sounding off in the woods for over a week prior to opening day. More projects will surely come to Jerrod from me but in the meantime, I highly recommend him to others! Great job, I'm very satisfied!

Max understands construction and found the cause of my wood rot issues.  They replaced rotted trim with plastic wood per my request. I told them I did not want any problems on the exterior of my house for 10 years, so they looked for any potential issues and fixed them.  I couldn't figure out how to prevent the issues under my door wall, but Max found a solution. They also took down a brass light fixture so I could paint it oil rubbed bronze - and then they rehung it. Considering how much time and care was spent the cost was quite reasonable.  I will call them again.

    Jim Gilbert's Painting Inc
Jim Gilbert's painting performed two separate projects for me, and I'm extremely pleased with both.
The first project was painting 3 bedrooms, a master bedroom and bathroom with cathedral ceilings. We had quite a bit of drywall damage on the ceiling and walls in the master bedroom/bathroom (roof leak), and Aaron did a fabulous
job on the drywall repairs. The entire crew did a great painting job and it was especially nice to see a contractor completely finish the job by vacuming up the drywall sanding dust which provided us with move-in ready finished rooms. Chad
(the owner) kept in continuous contact with me regarding the schedule and project status. Chad asked me to meet him for a walk-thru of the finished project, then we paid. How nice, not just leave the check.
The second project was painting our kitchen cabinets (26 cabinets and 10 drawers). Our kitchen is pretty big and the center focus of our main floor. Because of the excellent work Gilbert's did on the first project, I became confident they could do the much more detailed and tedious work of my kitchen cabinets. Aaron and Chad spearheaded the project and made sure every detail was right, which they told me they would do. We went from a medium wood finish to a painted white satin finish. What I didn't realize is that wood hides a lot of blemishes and when painted white these blemishes really became apparent. Not to
worry because Aaron and Chad made sure every blemish was fixed so you didn't know it ever existed. I have to admit I was very anxious and quite worried that I wouldn't be 100% happy with the outcome (I knew I was going to be super fussy with the kitchen project), but trust me I'm 100% happy and I love my painted white kitchen cabinets. Again, Chad kept in close contact
with me regarding the schedule, project status, and questions that arose during the project.
I had the kitchen cabinets quoted by a few other contractors, but Jim Gilbert's painting was the only one that thoroughly defined the products (hi-end paints) and their processes, so make sure you ask, know, understand and compare these details. Other contractors advised me caulking of the recessed panels  probably wouldn't be needed, but I'm sure they knew this would be needed and they would have charged us an extra cost and a delay in the project. Gilbert's painting absolutely knew caulking would be required and they quoted a full quality project with caulking, filling imperfections, sanding, priming, sanding again, top coats and final touch ups. In our case, some cabinets looked great with 2 top coats, yet others required 3 and 4 top
coats to get the smooth finish quality look. Gilbert's was totally focused on providing a quality finish, and they would not cut corners, nor did they charge for the extra coats.
We have used a lot of contractors, and Jim Gilbert's Painting has been one of the best choices we have every made. Their focus is providing a quality project that you are happy with, not just get in/get out. Chad's crew are direct hires (not subcontractors) and they are great!  Not only are they great painters, but they are great people and I enjoyed having them work in my house, and trust me....we've used contractors that I couldn't wait for them to get out of my house. I will definitely use Jim Gilbert's Painting again, and I highly recommend them to family, friends, and you!
Here are pictures of our kitchen before (medium wood) and after (white satin finish).
We just love the new refreshed modern look!!

    Built Solid Renovations LLC
To update, they finally came out and removed all the debris and finished up the job site. We have no issues with the quality of work, each team that came out for their round of work did a good job and were pleasant and professional.
We were told we were going to get our ac unit replaced which was damaged in the storm, but that didn't happen. We dropped it because it is working, and I just want to be done with it all. It was a really challenging and drawn out process though, I still wouldn't use them again. I've upgrade their score because the work has been done well.

Tony is wonderful.  We got more than we could have every expected from Tony and his team.  They really do care about their customers and take pride in their work and in the way they leave the property.  Tony was working under very difficult conditions as the work to fix our foundation left the property a mess and we were still living in the house, while trying to prepare to make a cross-country move.  Half-way through our work together, we did move and our property manager took over the project.  As you can imagine that meant that my husband and I were trying to make long distance decisions and often times the decisions we made were not quite the same as those our property manager made, leaving Tony unclear as to what he was really supposed to do.  Even so, our house looks beautiful.  The house rented in a week after being on the market, and we are all very happy.  Tony remained extremely even keeled throughout the whole thing, bringing the job in on budget and ready for our renters move in date.

Tony's crew arrives on time, ready to work, gets down to work immediately, keeps working throughout the day with no long lunches and breaks, and cleans up and leaves in the afternoon much later than the crews of the many other contractors I've worked with over the last 2 years.  Plus, they are friendly, charming, and personable.

Working with Tony and his crew really is a pleasure.

    GC Contracting Co LLC
I built a bay window including installing the windows and building the support structure. However, after doing this I found it was very difficult to create the finish trimming due to the requirement for so many careful and correct mitered cuts. Gary at GC Contracting was able to finish the bay window with elegant and perfectly fitting beveled cuts in the wood and trim. The window is now a focal point of the house, definitely adding aesthetic value and surely adding significant monetary value, as well. Gary was very professional, courteous, and prompt in providing his excellent carpentry work to finish our bay window. We highly recommend him!

    GC Contracting Co LLC
Gary from GC was very professional and communicated well throughout the project.  (This is one of the hardest things to find today when looking for contractors to perform projects)  Gary pulled together different people from different companies to produce a great final project(s).
They first started on my tongue and groove ceiling and that took a week due to the very complicated compound cuts as well as all the final details required.  The goal was to create a ceiling that did not require moldings to cover the joints, so that meant that precision in the cuts and installation were important.  It looks great and was done for what I figured was a very fair price.
The second job was in creating new cabinets, shelving unit and benches for my mud room.   Gary brought in a cabinet company that he works very close with and together we laid out the project and finalized the details.  We reviewed a cad drawing of the room and cabinets and made the adjustments and approvals prior to fabrication.   The fabrication went well and was of high quality.  The installation also went very well and was of high quality.   I would trust GC to do any kind of cabinetry and custom word work in the future.  They also did this for a fair and reasonable price.
The third project was installing a new railing, post and framework for a basement stairway.   I had opened up a side wall and GC measured, cut and installed a new railing for that area.  The work included some detail work to hide a drain line inside the structure of the railing.   This worked out great and looks even better.  Again it was done for a very fair price.
Altogether, GC contracting did a great job at a good price.  I feel that I definitely got what I paid for (and maybe a little extra).  It was refreshing to deal with someone who is professional and returns my calls, texts and emails.   As always, things take longer than expected so be prepared with a proper timeline in mind.   I didn't mind that the things took a little longer with GC because it was fully communicated and agreed upon in advance.
Thanks to Gary and his crew for a great job!  I would recommend them for this type of work.
