    Acton Family Chiropractic
Dr. Acton has now become the newest member of my healthcare team. She is compassionate, professional, and has been immensely helpful returning strength to my back after a recent injury. She is supportive of complementary activities that may enhance my wellness but careful to advise caution when necessary. Her expertise and willingness to partner with me in my health care continue to build my respect for her. Each visit to her office is pleasant. Her staff is warm and caring, reflecting the standards of her practice. I can recommend Dr. Acton without hesitation.

    Heath, Dr. James J.
Dr. Heath is a miracle worker! For years I have had horrible back pain. Some times my back would 'go out' just by sneezing or putting my pants on. I've been seeing Dr. Heath on and off for a few years. He's really fantastic at listening to your body and assisting it in healing. My back hasn't gone out in two years thanks to regular treatment. I owe Dr. Heath a great deal.

    The Center for Physical Rehabilitation
They worked with me a few times a week until my knee was strengthened again and gave me home exercises to continue after the treatment. The staff was engaging, encouraging and delivered results every time I sought their help. They were able to get me back on track so I didn't need to pursue surgery or regular pain medications.

If I had questions I could always reach the therapist by phone or email and he'd respond immediately or in a reasonable amount of time.

The billing dept. also responded to questions quickly about insurance and doctor scripts.

The atmosphere is always upbeat when you arrive at the center. There is easy access in and out of the building and a pleasant environment inside.

My many office visits have gone very well. Dr. Heath tailors the adjustments to the individual patient, after a thorough examination and x-rays. He is a warm-hearted fellow, and given that I have known him for so long, we discuss other issues as needed. You could not ask to meet a finer individual, plus he is the only doctor who doesn't scare me to death!!

    Frye, Dr. David
Dr Frye did the surgery and he opened up the ankle in two spots.  He was going to put 1 plates and 2 screws.  he had one screw holding the one plate.  He never told me before or after the surgery that he changed the plans.  I had him for 2 visits after the surgery.  he told me that I watch tv all day and prop it up that the swelling wasn't going to go down.  he told me that I wasn't following his procedure.  he never removed the staples either.  After the surgery the bone was off a quarter of an inch.  He said that it wasn't off much and that we don't need to do anything.  I refuse to see him anymore so I went and got another opinion.

Dr. Heath is AMAZING. I went into his office in a good deal of pain and with in a few visits I felt incredibly better. No drugs, no long wait at the PCP's office, just good common sense care and an amazing chiropractor!

    Marquardt, Eric
They have a competent, nice, pleasant staff. The only drawback I found was that I found that their price was more than I anticipated it being. I did find that their marketing was a bit strong after my treatment. I got cards and letters asking me to come back. I have a bias against health care marketing.

    Health First Chiropractic Clinic
I was skeptical at first. Nothing is for free. But then again if every business was free, how would they stay in business. After having x rays done and explained to me. Dr. S put me back in shape. He understood my insurance and the number of visits. He didnt try to sell me the farm. He did what my insurance would cover and probablyate some of his own profit. I bring my son to see him and I think that people need to understand Rome wasnt built in a day and your problem wont go away in a day, but if your upfront with him. Dr. S will listen and understand and do what you can afford to have done and never ever did he use the use you gotta come back and push me in to a world of debt.

    Wilcox, Dr. Randy
About 2 years worth of visits and all professional, well done, and I feel much better.
They were able to get me in right away when the back pain came out of the blue; they were able to continue ongoing treatment both on the 3-4 week schedule and on fitting me in when I had conflicts come up and needed to change my day and time last minute.
Both docs and their staff are very kind and courteous and know what they're doing.  I highly recommend them to anyone.

    Health First Chiropractic Clinic
Went to see Dr. Szagesh at Health First Chiropractic as I was having some lower back pain for the first time in my life and wanted to see if a chiropractor could help out. The place has great reviews on Google, etc, but a little inspection reveals that the reviews are a little too great - almost all of them come within a week of each other and are obviously and pathetically forged by company stakeholders. On your first visit, they ask to take x-rays and give you the spiel about how chiropractic was started, how it works, etc, which set off my BS detector big time, but I decided to give it a shot anyways. My first adjustment was both brief and confusing. Dr. Szagesh, with almost zero explanation of what he is about to do or why/how it is helpful, has me lay face down on an adjustment table and swivels my legs up and down ~10 times while applying pressure to the small of my back. This took all of 20 seconds. He then had me lay on my side and again started to make a move, though this time I resisted initially, as in and quot;what the h*** are you about to do?and quot;. He tells me to relax and not to worry and cracks my back once on each side. This again takes about 20 seconds, so roughly one minute has elapsed and I am ushered out with a and quot;see you tomorrow!and quot;. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that they wanted to see me 3x a week for about 3 months for my lower back issues. At this point I was highly skeptical, but I thought perhaps the first adjustment was brief and the others would be more involved. Sadly that was not the case, as every time I came to Health First I would sign in, wait about 30 seconds, go to one of many and quot;adjustment roomsand quot; (the place is setup like a tanning salon), watch Dr. Szagesh walk out of his office and into the room, spend 45 seconds adjusting me, and then usher me out and go back to his office. Meanwhile I'm getting billed about $50 for each visit. I stuck with it a few times as I really wanted to see relief, but the adjustments weren't doing much and if anything could have been placebo effect. In my mind, this place is a scam, and I'll be reluctant to ever see a chiropractor again.
