    GILLETTE KENNELS
I found the facility overall to be clean and well organized. My rather two rambunctious dogs liked that they were in the same large run. They also were let out of their runs twice a day so they could play. When I picked them up they were clean and well fed.

    Camp Ravenwood Kennels
This was my first time boarding a pet.
Drop off went smoothly except the guy didn't offer a receipt or anything showing he was boarding my dog, and it seemed like a hassle when I asked for it.
When I arrived to pick up my dog this morning, she seemed okay, however, later today it became apparent that she has some digestive distress. She also has lost a couple pounds.
My dog requires a grain-free, beef-free diet, so I provided her food portioned out into baggies and marked by mealtime. Out of eight meals I sent, she was only given three, so she missed FIVE meals. I was so happy to see my dog I didn't count her food baggies until we got home so I never asked whether she didn't have an appetite, if she was fed the wrong food, or if she was somehow neglected. She'll be okay, and rather than deal with the guy on the phone I'll just take her somewhere else in the future.
I can definitely say that I requested three play times per day (the maximum) and she only received three playtimes during her entire stay, so we're pretty unhappy about that. They didn't charge me for the missed playtimes so at least that was ok.

I cannot say enough how grateful we are to have find such a wonderful facility for our pup while we go on vacations. He absolutely loves going. The staff is so friendly and beyond helpful. They take such good care of him while we are gone, we know he is having a great time! While he is there, they make sure to feed and provide him anything we request when we do him off...and at no extra charge! They are very organized, and the price is very reasonable. If we call a few hours prior to picking him up, they even give him a bath so he comes home fresh and clean. Bottom line-even if you live a little ways away, the drive is worth it to know your babies are safe, well taken care of, comfortable, getting the proper attention and supervision and not locked up in a kennel the entire time you are gone...They are probably having more fun than you are!

    ALPHA BOARDING CTR
Alpha Boarding Center AND Staff are WONDERFUL!!
We have been using Alpha Boarding for over 3 yrs now and I have to say they staff take top-notch care of our beagle- Sunny.
The team does a wonderful job of ensuring 'play-time' and the staff often shares stories with us of whom our dog had the pleasure of playing with while he was there. They personalize the experience for us and we are so grateful to them for being a warm and friendly kennel and service provider that we trust.
Our family jokes that the experience for our dog, Sunny must be the equivalent of 'going to puppy camp"
and we know he is not only being taken care of but will have plenty of socialization with other dogs in a safe environment.
The facility is extremely clean and well kept. (The aroman that fills the air when you enter is 'fresh and clean" like the floors were recently cleaned...)
The prices are extremely reasonable @ $14.00 per day!! (That includes food and exercise)
We couldn't be happier that Alpha Boarding takes the stress out going out of town.
The experience is top notch!! Would not go anywhere else!!!

The obedience training classes are superb. You learn the tools you need to train your dog to become a well-behaved family pet. While it is a group class environment, Kirk will spend time individually with owners if necessary during class (and as time permits) to help them understand a certain technique or command. His knowledge of pet behavior and training is extensive,
and he is willing to share as much of it with you as you are willing to learn. The agility classes are a great experience and confidence builder for your pet. The agility course has a variety of obstacles that are well maintained. You and your pet are allowed to use the course for practice during certain hours while taking the class. This is extremely beneficial and hard to come by.
Boarding school training is also exceptional. I have sent two untrained dogs to boarding school and each knew all of the basic commands (plus some) upon completion. After they train your dog, you get a short lesson with your dog. Then included in the boarding school fee is enrollment in a Basic Obedience class to reinforce the training for you and your dog. This is
    simply an outstanding opportunity.

    My Best Friend's Inn
I contacted them through their website after reading the reviews here. They were quite nice and responsive, answering all my questions and letting me know what I needed to do prior to our trip. They contacted my veterinarian directly to ensure that my dogs were all current on vaccinations. They provided me with information about the additional vaccination needed (kennel cough) and fecal tests to ensure my dogs were healthy before they arrived. They asked about the food my dogs are used to eating so that they would be fed their normal diet.
I received numerous emails from them in advance of my trip, and felt that they were very prepared to handle all four of my dogs. When I dropped the dogs off, they took the time to greet each one and asked questions about them. They had identification tags ready for each one, and I noticed they were color-coded to more easily identify dogs that were not spayed/neutered. The employees were very gentle and helpful with the dogs, and I felt completely comfortable about leaving my and quot;babiesand quot; with them.
The site is quite nice, out of town on a quiet farm, with other animals visible nearby. It was really nice to know that someone lives on-site in the event something would happen during evening hours. They are open 7 days a week, with long hours, so that you can drop off or pick up almost any time of day.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with the care that my dogs received, and the price was also very reasonable. I highly recommend this provider.

They take excellent care of our senior dog.  He has spent time with them on numerous occassions when we have been traveling.  He is always happy to see them and well cared for while in their care. He takes medication and has a number of health problems that they have to deal with. I highly recommend them!

    CAMP CRITTER COUNTRY
Excellent. We weren't able to pick the dogs up as planned due to the massive snowstorm but they were most accommodating and kept the dogs three extra days. Because of the extreme cold, they were very careful in how long the dogs were allowed outside. They also have play yards where the dogs can run and interact with each other-not just runs. They have a play group and a sniffer group for less active dogs.

    Derspinna Kennels
We called about boarding our dogs over Christmas break. They were not the least bit friendly on the phone plus they informed me they charged a "holiday" surcharge. We decided to try elsewhere where we had a much more friendly reception at a cheaper rate. Same type of service with play yards, etc. Perhaps they are good, but after that 1st call, I won't be calling them again.

    CAMP FIDO DOG DAYCARE
The dogs get a chance to play and socialize with other dogs and the dog "wranglers". My dog absolutely loves it and is worn out for the next day or two. Even get a daily report card on what they did and who they played with!
