    All Service & Remodel, LLC
Excellent! They were out to measure on time, were on time when they stated they would start and completed the job in one day! Almost a full redeck with new shingles and had to take three layers off in spots

    CROOKSTON EAVESTROUGHS
Fred came out exactly when he said and finished the job in three hours. He gave me choices, mainly for asthetic purposes, and was able to complete the job for $100 cheaper than his original proposal. Have had some heavy rains since then and all is well. Would definitely recommend him!

Hansons Window & Siding of Portage
Worst experience with a contractor ever. It took them about 22 weeks to get one door installed. Ordered mid April, told it was done (it was a custom door) and in warehouse by the end of June but no install date until the end of July. The first scheduled appointment was about 12 weeks after we ordered. They canceled that day due to weather but I have pictures showing it was sunny. I even have a text from their own salesman saying he will check and see why they canceled on a sunny day. He never did get back to me. The next install was canceled due to weather again. At this point they had to schedule me another 3 weeks out. I tried to cancel the order and was threaten with a letter saying I would be in breach on contract. The letter said,"Failure to contact this office within 24 hours will result in action to collect and honor your signed contract." I called and agreed to try one more date. About a week later I received and email that said, "Currently our window schedule is full and we do have installations that have to be scheduled prior to yours". I had 24 hours to respond or bad things would happen. They were going to hold me accountable but yet seemed to have no sense of accountability. The contract does say that they can cancel due to weather so you really have no way to stop them from delaying your install. The salesman was full of promises that we never saw. I have spent many sleepless nights because of one patio door. After about 22 weeks ( I was on vacation for 10 of those weeks so I would not have had to take a day off of work for the install), we finally got our door. The finance contract we applied for and received had expired several weeks before they installed the door. We just paid them and did not worry about trying to get the financing. They ended up giving us 200.00 off the price of the door. I would much rather have preferred being able to get out of the contract without penalty.

Adam Garland Construction Roofing Division, LLC
This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. I went with this contractor because my mother/father in-law know Mr. Garlands parents really well. So, I thought I would get good service. I had to police the entire job having them come back on several occasions to fix poor quality work. They failed to caulk the front window correctly and I now have water damage that I am repairing at this time. I also found a window where the J channel was not nailed and the window wrap is coming off. So that is my next fix because there was no one that performed quality work on the project. Then on top of it he tried to charge me extra at the end. Several items on the line items invoiced where never even used on the job. He was just trying to regain some of his profits lost from them having to redo many items. Worst experience of my life. Pictures added are just a few of the poor quality work. Like caulking a window with dirty hands and not cutting the siding so that is fit tight around things that came out of the house. They also tried to cover rotted brick molding on the garage until I stopped them. They also tried to lie about doing it.

    Midwest Gutter Systems LLC
This work was done in May 2012 when we added on to the house. We had a little water come into our basement in February 2018. When investigating for possible causes as to why this happened, 2 builders and a gutter system professional determined that there is just one small down spout (2x3) bringing the water down from the entire back part of the roof on one side of the house. It should have been to 3x4. Also the gutter that was installed is 5x4 and needs to be changed to 6x5. . I contacted Midwest Gutter System several times and talked to Taylor. She told me the owner will get back but no one has got back so far.

Hansons Window & Siding of Portage
The install crew were good and efficient. However the roof vents were installed were NOT the venting system the salesman and I agreed upon. I was supposed to get ridge and hip vents and got big ugly can vents. Not one other home within view of mine has those big ugly things. The job was completed when I was out of town or that would NOT have happened. Now Hansons wants to fight to the bitter end to not come back and do the roof they way I was told it would be done. I was also told by many people who know roofs that I was overcharged by quite a bit and probably didn't even need a new roof for several years. Never never never use Hansons!! Those vents may not look bad to you but when they're the only ones in the neighborhood they really stick out.

VanDam & Krusinga Building & Restoration
This project dragged on and on and on. Finally finished after 7 months! Should have taken less than half the time! Very poor communication. Would show up unannounced. Did not return phone calls. The interior paint job was exceptional. Hard to believe that he was part of same company! Do yourself a favor and keep looking!

    Avalon Building Concepts
Avalon was the only company I could find that was willing and able to complete a repair to my roof. Every other company told me I could only choose to redo the whole roof. Which was more money than I was prepared to spend on fixing a leak. Avalon worked with me and Ryan who was sent out to my home for the inspection was very knowledgeable and understanding. He identified the leaking area and Avalon quickly scheduled the installation. When I decided to do gutters I knew Avalon did a great job so I trusted Athem to complete it. The gutters look great and have kept water from my foundation.

    Lyster Exteriors
Excellent. Meticulous avoidance of damage to nearby parts of the grounds and pickup of removed old materials. Magnetic sweepers assured that no old roofing nails were left on the ground or in parking and walking areas. Advance warning to remove cars from garages before re-roofing to prevent damage by falling debris. Continuous work on the job till completed, except. Worked unit by unit, removing old roofing in the AM and completing deck and eave prep and new roofing installation before leaving in the evening, so as not to leave a bare roof deck overnight. Supplied several well-trained, efficient, safety-conscious, courteous crews. Thereafter, a separate crew replaced gutters and downspouts, extruding gutters on-site to precise length. Lyster did all detailed work required by the contract. Impressed me and the other board members. Our manager had used Lyster before to re-roof a similar one of his other properties and recommended Lyster.

    Providence Seamless Gutters
This review is long overdue. After receiving a few bids to add/replace gutters on an entire house, the estimate I received from Providence was the best, even with the addition of leaf guards. I hired Dan on the spot and he and his crew were able to come out the following day to complete the work. They did a beautiful job and the work was completely efficiently. Several months later, a new neighbor of mine was complaining about the insanely high bid he had received to add gutters to his house. I recommended Providence to him and 2 days later, I saw the team over at his place doing the work. My neighbor thanked me for the recommendation and was VERY happy with their work/pricing. I plan to hire Providence again to add gutters to a new property that I purchased.
