AMarkin Co.Really well. The gentleman (am bad with remembering names!), came at specified time, replaced the door (taking measurements, and insuring correct alignment), and insulated around the door. To cut cost, I removed the old door, and inside frame, prior to his arrival. Then installed the door knob and lock after he left. Have not sanded, painted and installed new inside framing yet, and still waiting for our storm door to arrive. He was quite informative, professional, and pleasant.- Bob K.

ARob Seth ConstructionRob undertook a large-scale renovation for my wife and I. We had purchased a house that we intended to renovate and turn into a rental property. Rob did almost everything imaginable, from new bathrooms and a new kitchen to new windows, siding, doors, flooring, plumbing, framing, etc. He even removed a massive fireplace from the center of the house, leaving no trace of its existence behind. He seemed knowledgeable in so many different areas and was a great resource in helping me to find good deals along the way. AAvalon Building ConceptsThe Avalon crew exceeded our expectations! The management team specifically Ryan Perry was very knowledgeable and offered options for the updates we requested. Very flexible and understanding as we continued to explore the options prior to final ordering. We developed a complete trust in a true professional who lives customer satisfaction. The roof was a complete tear off and replacement of a few sheets of wood. The entire job took less than 8 hours. Excellent crew! The new Bow Window was installed flawlessly and in a few hours. FJack's Wholesale WindowsPLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JACK'S WHOLESALE WINDOWS!!! Within a few short years one problem after another surfaced, including mold between panes of glass and 2 of 3 door jams rotting from the inside out. They refuse to stand by their written warranty contract with one excuse after another. I faithfully patched, re-primed and re-painted, even caulked across the threshold but it kept getting worse and worse. I suspect the door jamb contained what is called Pesky Cyress, not at all water resistant. It was covered with primer when installed so I couldn't see. While they gave me their written manufacture and installation lifetime warranty, they never gave me the Home Guard paperwork which states they only guaranty the frames for 5 years. They won't stand by their own warranty and blames it on Home Guard. I had 25 year old materials they replaced that were in much better condition than these are after half the time. There are many other problems I could list but this is enough to get the warning out there.- Connie M.

ABlackberry Window & Door SystemsOver the past 20+ years we have contracted with Blackberry Systems for windows, doors, roofing and siding. Our most recent work with Blackberry was completed in November, 2018. Quality of materials, installation skills, project management, customer relations and honoring of warranties are all reasons why we have returned to Blackberry Systems time after time for new projects. Over the years, they have stood out in all of these areas. A few years ago there was a dip in project management and customer focus, but these have been more than remedied recently to the point where I can currently recommend them unconditionally. They take on varied projects, including two large custom triangular windows which were ordered and installed to our complete satisfaction. Their installers are professional, courteous and clean up very well after themselves. Their current project manager is at the absolute top of his game, keeping us appraised of progress and timing while making sure that work is done to exact specifications. In the couple of occasions where we had issues with installation, Blackberry spared no effort in making sure that these were fixed and that they wouldn't arise again. In another case the seal on our double-pane slider failed after 7 years, and this door was replaced under their lifetime warranty at no cost to us. We continue to enjoy our windows, doors, roof and siding years (and in some cases decades) after they were installed. For quality workmanship and customer service it would be very hard to beat what we have found with Blackberry Systems over many years.- Christopher H.

Recent Review:
FI had set up a time to have a quote done for replacing the 30+ windows in my home. Following this I had a major home catastrophe as my water heater failed, flooding my finished basement. I spoke with a rep canceling the quote until I could make repairs from my home. I noted that I would give them a call as soon as I was done making repairs. The next day another rep called me wanting to push me into a quote that day as they had a staff member in the area. I calmly explained the situation to this rep for a second time. Today I received both an email and text message from a Pat asking me to reschedule that appointment. This company may provide a good service, but their customer service is garbage. Will get my future work done by Avalon, try focusing on the customer experience moving forward.

BOverall I am very pleased with the work performed by W.M.G.B! The price was very fair and the installer was on time and quick to finish the job. The only thing preventing me from giving excellent marks all around was that the installer misunderstood our project request and switched a couple vented windows but the quality of the work and the care he took to complete it were well above average so I am not worried about it!
