    Healthy Family Chiropractic
Upon calling,  appointment scheduled for later same day (Friday)    History, exam, and xrays taken at first visit.  Was placed on a machine that "rolled" my back and  some relief , while minimal , was gained.    Return visit the following Monday where the xrays were reviewed with a plan for adjustments and the "rolling machine"  (its initals - like ICP or something like that) to start with 3 visits a week initally.  Plan is to reduce down to 2 a week, then 1 a week, then hopefully every 3- 6 months (as to what my body itself identifies as need).  Am now down to once a week  with adjustment followed by the  "rolling machine" and my back has never been better.  For years, suffered from low back pain.  Then I developed psorasis and have been told by MD's that I have developed psoratic arthritis.  While Dr. Rubens wouldn't diagnose the back issue, I I assume in all likelihood it may be related to the psoratic arhtiritis.
Very helpful, knowledgeable.  Friendly staff.  Holistic approach.  I've not ever been to a chiropractor before this encounter and not sure why I didn't incoroporate into my lifestyle earlier.  Not only have I returned to pain free physical activity (walking, standing, turning in bed) but my general health and well being seems improved.  I feel as if my posture has improved, stand more erect, and experiencing less digestive issues.  Realize that chronic pain can zap energy, actually now feel more energetic than before the sudden onset of stabbing back pain.
Only downside is they do not accept Medicare although they will submit all the paperwork to Medicare for the patient.  I started in November at age of 64, turning 65 in December.  As of the end of this month of December, Medicare has yet to reimburse me and I've had to make payments since 12/1 out of pocket.
One last note:  In the past I had injured my knee.  I had stepped backwards missed a step and twisted my leg in the effort not to lose my balance.  It immediately swelled and had throbbing pain.  I waited some time before seeking medical attention, did so only after I thought it wasn;t getting better.   My MD noted that it is now required by most insurance companies to be referred to PT prior to any diagnostic testing such as xrays or MRI.  I complied and started PT.  Initially, the exercises caused no additional problems and  as a matter of just mere time passing the knee started to improve.  Then PT stepped up the exercises and asked me to stand on the injured leg, bearing all the weight on this knee.  They then asked for me to stoop down.  Stupid me; even tho I voiced my concern that this was the type of activity that aggravated the pain, I went ahead and complied.  I then reinjured the leg and was back to square one in the healing process.  I withdrew from PT and voiced my concern with my MD that I thought it entirely backwards not to have an x-ray or MRI to view the injury that would prevent PT staff or medical professionals to engage in exercises that only aggravate or reinjure.  When this happened with my back, my first thought was in seeking out assistance that would see what was going on with my back quickly and without risk of making it worse.    I knew that with a chiropractor they would take xrays and I wouldn't have the lengthy delays in starting a treatment plan that would help relieve the pain.  I was so right to choose this course.

    Wolf, Dr. Al
Dr. Wolf was extremely kind and professional, and I always felt better after my acupuncture appointments. His procedures boosted my immune system and improved my digestion.
I always felt like I was in good hands.
His rates are very reasonable compared to other providers.

    Hoard Chiropractic
Jennifer greeted me and took me back to her therapy room. She asked if I was having any issues and then discussed the types of massage she could do to help alleviate the muscle spasms I was having. She was very good about asking if the pressure she was using was right. I had her use a firmer massage and it really did the trick. Jennifer seemed very knowledgeable and really gave an excellent massage. You can schedule anywhere from 30-90 minute massages. I had a one hour massage but will definitely up that to 90 minutes next time. Her prices were reasonable, parking is mostly on yhe street but it's a small town so you don't have to walk far. The massage room itself could be a bit bigger. There may be more than one though.

Dr. James Stroupe was very thorough. Spent a long time assessing, talking, asking questions and getting to know me. After physical evaluation with which he spent a long time ascertaining if there was anything functional wrong with my knee, he determined I had issues with hip flexors what was hindering my knees and lower legs. Have been going twice a week for 3 weeks now and am feeling so much better. He also has been very thorough in talking about my exercise as well as eating habits.

    Miller Chiropractic Clinic
All things went well. He gives the holistic approach to chiropractic adjustments because I've seen another chiropractor in the past and I have to go and to see weekly because my problem it was not going away. In Dr. Daniel Miller he showed me the inner workings of my body and how to exercise appropriately to improve an injury rather going to him weekly.

Dr. James is thorough, professional, and knowledgeable in advanced chiropractic practices. He cares deeply about his patients' well-being and encourages them to be proactive in their health concerns. When physical issues arise, patients can be assured that Dr. James will take the time to listen, and then go the extra mile to ensure the best outcome for the situation. His wife, Dr. Val, is also a chiropractor and although I've not had an appointment with her, she treats me with the same kindness and respect as Dr. James. Their staff is the best. I highly recommend them.

Home Again Early Childhood Education Center
I had to take my child out of this center. They do not consistently keep the correct teacher to child ratio. I saws teacher grab a toy from a one year old, yell at them and walk away while the child was screaming. Not the cleanest facility and let the one year old group watch movies. When I left, they refused to give me back the wipes and diaper cream I had bought.

Both surgeries went beautifully. Dr. Gorman and his nurse were accessible and explained options thoroughly. This is a doctor who really listens to you before deciding on a course of treatment.

    PCCN PRESCHOOL
Pccn preschool is the best preschool I could ask for. Mrs. Kreg makes the school. She is a rare gem of a teacher. All of her students love her. Since it is a co-op as a parent I feel you are more able to see what the average day in the classroom is like as well as have as much involvement as you are able/ want in you child's preschool experience. I highly recommend everyone at least come check it out. I could not ask for a better preschool for my childern

    1. I have been seeing Dr. Val for almost 18 months and am very happy with their services. Dr. Val is petite and sometimes needs help from her husband Dr. James for hard adjustments, but that is why I really enjoy their teamwork and their office environment. I received their names on a recommendation and am very happy. It is a great family environment and they are open to my children coming to my appointments and have many toys to keep them entertained!
