Driveway Pavers reviews in Jackson

The job was done in the afternoon, so the edges showed a drying different from the rest of the surfacing. Tomco installed the asphalt late last summer and even had the New Customer Discount Applied, so the application should have been done in the early morning. I was pleased that they acknowledged the error, and they were just as displeased with the work as I was. They scheduled another appointment to re-coat the driveway to help reduce the discoloration of the edging. The results are much improved. I believe that when they redo the driveway in a couple years it won't even be noticeable. I have uploaded several pictures. As you can see, in some places it is still noticeable while in others it's negligible. If you have new asphalt, make sure they are scheduling you for an early am appt (and if possible, on a cooler day).

After measuring both my driveway and tennis court to give me a bid, he strung me along for multiple missed appointments and refused to communicate with me. During our first interaction, he went to the wrong place but insisted that he came out to the right place. However, when he showed up 2 weeks later, he realized his error. I waited and waited and waited for his machinery to do the work, but he never showed up, even after two phone calls and missed appointment. I had got everything ready for him. In September, I got a bill from him for work performed. To top it off on March 15th, 2016, I got a threatening letter: "Although we have contacted you about your outstanding balance on your account, we still have not heard from you. You have an outstanding balance of: $300 The following invoices are overdue. If you have already sent payment in full, we ask that you call and let us know. Otherwise call me to discuss what you plan to do to settle your account." He should not be allowed to work with the public to send out threatening notices and misrepresent himself. When I called him to address the bill, he still refuses to talk to me. He must have his dariary seal-coated on somebody else's driveway.

Scheduling the project was a bit of a hassle. I'm not sure if it was because it was later in the season or not. We were given very little notice (less than a week) on when they would be out to work on the driveway. We received the bid for the work on 8/11/2015.
After a couple weeks went by with no contact from them, I contacted them to find out when the the work would begin and was told they would get back to me asap with date when one was available. Subsequently, I did try to contact them via phone and email several more times to let them know that we would like plenty of notice in advance for the work to begin. I was notified on 9/23/2015 that the work would begin on 9/26/2015.
The crew showed up on time and answered any questions we had. The work was completed in 3 days to our satisfaction.

He promptly came out right after we called, to give us an estimate and said he could do it the next week. We came home from work on Tuesday and he had been there and filled some holes, then the next day they finished the job while we were at work, so we were only one day without use of the driveway.

I have a driveway that is a third concrete and the rest gravel. I wanted to get the driveway paved before the winter time because I want it easy to be able to snow blow. James came out the day I called and gave me an estimate. The concrete part of my driveway stuck out about a foot and a half past the gravel. When he came out I told him I wanted the driveway to come out fully to the width of the concrete. I asked him to taper it about half way down. He did exactly what I asked for however when I got home I did not like the way it looked. I called and left a message for him that evening that i was not happy with the way it looked. He called me that next morning and was very pleasant, listened to what I had to say and came out that morning and fixed it. It looks great now. When it came time to pay the bill and I asked what I owed him, he gave me the original price we agreed to, which did not take into account the additional work done. I asked what the additional charges for the extra work was and he said if I wanted to cover the additional asphalt cost, that is all he would charge me. He also will call me with a reminder in the fall to seal coat the driveway. He was very professional and responsive.

Update - in mid October I hadn't heard back from them regrading seal coating my driveway, I left a message and about a week later he called me back and said it was too cold to do it now , even though he was the one who told me we would do it in October, but he would put me on the list for first thing in the spring. We'll see how that goes. I'll update you then

Update - it is now the end of May and I have not heard back from the company regarding seal coating my driveway. When I spoke to him in October I was told I would be first on the list for service in the spring, to date, I have not heard from them.  I am going to find another company to do the seal coating. This one seems to lack the follow through.

Update - being an asphalt driveway newbie, I thought I had received a pretty good deal, it turns out, that's not the case. I never heard back from the company regarding sealcoating my driveway and based on my conversation with another asphalt company, my driveway may need to be torn up and redone.  I will know more when the estimator comes out.
