well had an appointment for 9 but said I would have to just drop it off because he got tied up on other job, but then I caught his office worker driving my car to go pick up food for the shop. And he said he was test driving it but he is not a mechanic

i had to wait a long time, even though I was the first customer of the day. The tech was polite, and was honest. The cashier was not very friendly, and I seemed to be more of a bother than anything.

I had to wait a long time.  I wan not impressed on how the workers acted while I was waiting.  They used profane langauge, and didn't use any discretion.  I was charged a lot more than other auto service stores would charge for a battery. Will not use this auto service again.

Lake Transmission was very professional, and courteous. They are very fair and honest about what is wrong with my car, and they call around to get the least inexpensive prices on parts and services.  I highly recommend Lake Transmission.

Appt was scheduled promptly, service was timely. This was done at no cost to us since we purchased several oil change deals with the vehicle. It needs to be said that although we purchased the vehicle out of state, the dealership was pleasant and friendly about servicing it

He looked for the best engine for us with the least amount of hours on it. He also found one that offered a warranty on the used engine. All repairs were done in a timely manor. We did however have to take it back for a simple oxygen sensor that he didnt change out and was causing problems with the new engine.

My truck lost its fuel pump and we were left sitting on the side of the road.  I walked to a nearby store to use the phone to call for help.  Auto Recyclers were quick to respond, and had the flatbed on the way before I hung up the phone.  They offered to give the 3 of us a ride to the repair shop, but we declined as we had family coming to pick us up.  I met the tow truck at the repair shop and paid him there, it was a long tow, so it was a little more than I expected, but I know they were careful to get my truck where it needed to be.  I have known the truck driver, Chris, since we were kids, and he is a really nice guy.  I'd recommend Roscommon Auto Recyclers to everyone, they were quick to respond, very polite and made sure we were safe.

The work was done in a timely manner and the price wasn't out of this world.  My main concern in the beginning when I started dealing with finding a new auto service shop,  was getting ripped off  because I am a woman.  Like I said I have never felt that any of the work they have performed has not been unnecessary and the price for their services are very fair.
I had an older car before my Buick and it needed an electronic part and they searched all over Michigan and couldn't find the part for me.  I went online and found the part and the salvage yard sent me a couple of photos of the part and I printed them and took them to the garage and they identified it as the part that I needed, I ordered it and they installed it the day it came in.
In the 10 years I have used I would recommend them to anyone who asks.  I moved out of the area for 2 years and still made appointments to have my car serviced there when I was home to visit.
My mother now uses this shop instead of taking her 2005 Buick LaCrosse to the dealer, where she was ripped off.  The dealer replaced tie-rod ends and ball joints, etc. and I asked for the parts and had Old 27 Auto look them over and they said they really didn't need to be replaced.  She went into the dealer for new tires and it ended up costing her $1700 by the time they ripped her off.
