  They did a great job.  After meeting with me to determine the work to be done, the owner returned at a later date with a helper.  They pruned trees, removed boxwood shrubs, cut out dead branches and gave me good advice on some landscape issues.  They finished everything on my list, and did a few things extra.  Pleasant, professional and hardworking.

  dj`s mowing service

  Dave Johnson is as particular with his work mowing, trimming and edging my lawn as I am about how it's done. Dave really knows how to mow from week-to-week, and by that I mean that he rotates the direction he cuts the grass to get the best and nicest looking cut every week, which is exactly how I mow. He also does a great job trimming and edging as well. Very meticulous and spot-on every time. He is truly a professional at his job.
  Additionally, I only requested days for him to mow, not any particular times as I left that to him. He shows up on the days I choose and goes right to work. 
  I am an active duty Soldier and travel often, Dave works with my schedule and mows when I need him, this makes him one of the few professional contractors that would do that for me. I like to mow my yard when time permits and Dave is willing to accommodate me.
  I will continue to utilize DJ's mowing service due to the excellence of the service and professionalism I receive.

  I have used Mike's lawn services since I moved into the house. Mike is extremely knowledgeable about lawns and soil - periodically testing the soil to ensure the appropriate fertilizers and nutrients are applied. His prices are excellent, and he is a very friendly guy and easy to work with. He also has laid mulch and done a bigger reseeding project in the backyard. I am always very pleased with the services and with the prices and would recommend him to anyone.

  They did a fantastic job.  The yard looks so good and their attention to detail was great.  It was a large job and they finished it in one day.
  I also used them to do snow removal this winter several times and the quality of the work and the return on investment made me very happy.

  They trim around all edges each time and blow grass off the walk and patio.  They blow the loose grass so there are not clumps of grass in the lawn. Sometimes the grass is quite long after cutting.

  Proficient Cleaning

  Proficient Cleaning can come in our house at any time. She's very trustworthy. She's not bonded, that I know of, but she's really good at what she does. I've been using her for about four months now. A neighbor told me about her. She's just been such a blessing for us. She is a very loving, honorable and giving person. She does things that are thankless. She's done an excellent job of organizing our household and everything.

  They do snow plowing also. They are reasonable, they did what I asked. They offer weekly or bi-weekly. If you go weekly I think its $30 and bi-weekly its $35. They don’t charge you double if you go every other week. They do a good job; they blow off the sidewalk and the cement so you don’t have grass land all over. They have only done her twice but I’m happy. I have talked to the staff only once on the phone and he was very professional and I have gotten an email from him and it was very professional. I will be using him again, he will be doing my lawn for the summer and he will be plowing in the winter.

  I have one-acre long lawn. I chose them because they are based close to my place. The experience was good. They come out and do their job. They do it quickly. They are here and they are gone. They are friendly. They come out and do their job. They have done a couple of work for me. I am happy with them. The only time they would have been late would be when the weather was bad.

  I hired Scott's to fertilize and kill insects in my lawn on an annual basis. The company has never been responsive, unless they want to sell you more services. I was told on one occasion that they had so many thousands of customers and couldn't provide individual service. In 2010, they charged me for monthly mosquito service. I contracted to have it done once. They refunded my money, but I knew I needed to watch them. In the summer of 2011, Scott's came and fertilized my lawn during the hottest period of the summer. Needless to say, they burned my lawn and killed a great deal of it. I was heartbroken, since I received constant complements on my beautiful lawn. The blew my top when I received a letter recommending that I have my lawn over-seeded for $250. I called and fired the company. The young woman that answered the phone didn't seem to care. I was angry and am sure that I came across that way. I asked to speak with the manager, as I believed that the company should know why I'm discontinuing their services. The manager, Ken, told me that he was sure that it was bugs that killed my lawn. He assured me that they have clients all over my neighborhood that have bug problems. I told him that the only lawns that looked like my were mine and my next door neighbor that also use their service. Ken told me he would come out. I asked him to call me shortly before he arrived so I could discuss it with him. Of course he didn't call or ring my doorbell to tell me he was here. He told me that I should have seen him because he was here for long enough. As I expected, he indicated that bugs killed large portions of my lawn, but was unable to provide any proof of this. He hit the ceiling when I told him that my gardener has a degree in horticulture from Michigan State and has assured me that it wasn't bugs, but fertilizer burning my lawn.The company refunded my payment for one service and I've been left with a lawn that needs over-seeding, fertilizing, etc. to bring it back to it's former glory. I haven't decided whether I'll pursue legal action or not. The owner of the company has yet to respond to my request for a phone call. I've also contacted the Scott's franchisor and reported this problem. The woman I spoke with only seems to be concerned with my anger over this issue. I'm waiting for a response and will make my decision about legal action at that time.
