Awesome. Well, first we couldn't find it, and both Kurt and Joe were super helpful in working with me to find the septic. They answered many questions and phone calls helping me navigate my way, and we finally found the septic. Yeah! They were both very knowledgeable and had patience with me and my situation. Will definitely use again.

Miteff never called with the quote. Instead, I called asking for the quote multiple times over three weeks, but was always told I would get a call back with a quote in a "couple days". Finally, after weeks of calling, Miteff called about the job, but now seemed to not know precisley what they were providing a quote for. Based on their tone, it was clear they were not interested in the job and it was clear that they had not done enough research to provide an informative and useful quote. I went with Hedlund Plumbing instead. Hedlund got me a quote withing a couples days, were prompt in returning my calls, showed up on time, and did excellent work.

Professional plumbing company that did a professional job. They found a leak in a threaded fitting on the hot water heater and repaired it. Efficient work and courteous as well. They had to return a second day as they had another more pressing job to get to, but they returned a few days later to replace a heating element in the hot water heater. Now I have plenty of hot water. I will definitely consider using Perry Plumbing again for other plumbing projects.

The plumber unhooked my backup while cleaning my pump and then forgot to hook it back up. I realized it after he left and called him back. If I had NOT noticed this, I would have been in very serious trouble. The day after he was here I left town for a week, and during that time the power went out at my home for 5 days. Had I not noticed this, my house would have been floating! Also, he was full of negativity and acted as if he was angry with me.

We purchased our Trane furnace from North Winds.  We had maintenance done & filter replaced yesterday, as well as having them clean our tank water heater.  The serviceman was courteous and respectful, and went straight to work.  However, this morning we had no hot water.  My husband found the pilot was out, and tried to re-start it, but it wouldn't stay lit.  We had to assume that the serviceman didn't re-start the pilot, bumped something, etc., so my husband called and they did send out a different serviceman around 11:00 this morning.  He worked on the water heater and did not charge us for this additional call (which we felt was appropriate), and within 1.5 hrs. of his departure we did have our hot water back.
However, I have to say that an experience like this cuts into my confidence in a service provider, especially when the 2nd serviceman made sure to write estimates for replacement water heaters and repair cost for the gas control of the current heater right on the call record (unasked), the implication being that the current water heater won't last long anyway - ?? - and the serviceman made a point of saying that we apparently hadn't purchased the current water heater from North Winds (we hadn't - we bought it from another local, and very reputable, company).  That felt to me like the company was trying to cover up the fact that one of their service people had made a mistake.  We had purchased a one-year service contract with North Winds as part of having the furnace and water heater maintenance done, and now I wish we hadn't.

Jason did a fantastic job! He installed manufactured hardwood throughout the entire home (no more nasty carpet!) and put up new baseboard trim. He tore down a wall to open up the dining room to the living room, installed new light fixtures and fans throughout, and he completely renovated the bathroom; he tore out the rusty metal tub, replaced all of the drain work/plumbing, installed a fiberglass bathtub, and tiled the shower with porcelain subway tiles. Jason also laid porcelain on the floor, installed a new toilet, vanity, and exhaust fan!
Jason always showed up on time, was professional, and polite. He gave me options when it came to the different paths we could go, and gave honest feedback regarding price vs. quality. He let me go with him to pick out the supplies, and after the first couple times, I trusted him enough to pick what he thought was the best and I don't regret it a bit.
I've also had Jason come back to do work on the house since the remodel including coming out to look at my fridge that wasn't keeping my items cold/frozen. Instead of having to buy a new fridge (like I thought I would have to) he replaced the defrost thermostat which was less $100.00, including his labor.
So, not only does Jason do the remodeling/carpentry work, but he also does normal home repair and maintenance. He definitely gives the best advice, pricing, and does the best quality of work I've seen. I recommend him to everyone I know that needs a handyman!

I use Eric whenever our apartment complex needs a drain snaked that is too deep/big for my maintenance techs to battle. Eric always answers the phone (and he texts, which is great), he's friendly and polite, and he does a great job. He's in and out quickly on all jobs and is honest when it comes to what the underlying problem is. I've recommended him to many people for his quality of work.

They came in overtime and didn't charge their overtime rate.
I was in a mess because I had tried another plumber who just left
    me with a bigger mess.
And, I was in a class all day so couldn't get them booked for another
    couple days.
    They were great.
I definitely will use them again.

They were responsive and they did a great job. They were professional and addressed all of my concerns. They did a lot of work on the remodel. We totally redid everything. They put up separate thermostats to run the furnaces. I would use them again.

We had a clogged drain from the kitchen/laundry room.  After my husband was unsuccessful in clearing the drain, I called a plumber.  They came out and tried for two hours to clear the drain... again, unsuccessfully.  That plumber recommended Hosco Drain Service.  I left an after-hours message (I didn't feel the need to call the emergency phone line) and was promptly called back in the morning and able to schedule for them to come out later that morning.
They arrived promptly and were able to assess the situation, clear out the drain, and clean up the work area within 45 minutes. The person on the phone and the person who did the work were both very professional.  I thought $125 was reasonable for the service and I wouldn't hesitate to use Hosco Drain Service again.
