    Templeton Building Co.
Bathroom was remodel. They are very easy to work with. They are Professional and provide expert craftsmanship. I found them timely and very neat. They are a little more expensive than other companies but you get what you pay for. Will definitely use them again. Kitchen remodel next.

    RICHARD A LUCASSIAN
We paid all draws as promised and even additional money when requested.  He stopped showing up and communicating weeks ago.  Work quality on specifics range from fantastic to okay to sloppy, some requiring extensive re-do.  His mistakes have cost him and us a lot of money and time.  Projected completion times never met.   Attempts to contact and reconcile this issue have been ignored.  Desperate - what to do?  Guess an attorney will have to resolve this because we are concerned the unfinished projects will not withstand bad weather.  We really liked Rick and his crew, but feel our trust has been not only misplaced but exploited.

    J Palombit Construction
    J. Palombit Construction (Jeff Palombit) totally revamped the entrance way to my house with concrete, exposed aggregate, and brick work.  I could not have asked for a better overall experience.
Price - I received 3 estimates from popular Grosse Pointe concrete / masonry companies, and Jeff was by far the lowest price.
References - I did contact one of Jeff's references that he provided before starting my job, and he was extremely satisfied with Jeff's work as well.  I asked Jeff to use me as a reference in the future as well.
Professionalism - Jeff and his team were top notch.  I knew from the beginning that the job would be done well.  Jefff was hands-on, always working when I would get home from work to review the day's progress.  His team is a group of middle aged guys you can tell have years of concrete/masonry experience.  It wasn't a bunch of 18 year old kids hired to make a quick buck.
Quality - Also top notch - the driveway, walkways, and brick work are sleek and clean.  I have received many compliments from the neighbors, and hope that my job brings Jeff more business in his line of work.
Goes Above and Beyond - I had a few bricks on the front of my house that were cracked, or plastered over to stop them from crumbling.  Although the replacement of those bricks were not part of the scope of work, Jeff replaced them without even a hint of asking for more money.  It's the little things like that which make me glad to type good reviews.
    J. Palombit Construction Concrete and Masonry are highly recommended.

    Twin Eagle Construction
George with twin eagle construction located in Shelby township mi 48315 did replace my entire driveway incorrectly and  the entire driveway cracked the entire length. when i contacted him he came out several times and keep saying that he would fix it but never did. In the end he kept blowing me off and stopped taking calls or returning email. His workmanship was terrible so was his professionalism!

    Metropolitan Concrete Corp
I would highly recommend this company.  Marco was very helpful in planning out our project.  They have a wonderful website where you can see all kinds of colors and designs for concrete work and stamping.  The workman are very skilled and they did the work themselves.  They did not sub-contract, and they had a very reasonable price. The work was done in a timely manner (so the Halloween Trick or Treaters could get to the house!).  Clean-up was continuous.  It's been 4 years and there have been no problems, no cracks or anything.  Neighbors still comment on how nice it all looks.  It made such a difference in our 'Curb Appeal'!

    Levick Custom Homes Inc
They were excellent. They worked closely with me in design and offered many good ideas. They incorporated the 75 year old lead doors into the cabinets. They did things that I thought couldn't be done. The work was fantastic and we were under a deadline and they met that deadline. I would highly recommend them.

They also created a laundry room on the second floor for me. It turned out very nice. They were very prompt with their service.

    C Danel Home Restoring
C Danel Home Restoring was recommended through other business owners in the area. My wife and I decided to hire Carlos to lay a ceramic floor in our kitchen and hall area. Carlos was very detailed and professional.  Once the job was completed we were very pleased with his work and plan to hire him for other restoration projects this spring.

    St James Construction
John collected his check and I did not hear from him for a week. I called him to find out when he would be starting. He seemed disinterested and did not have answers for my questions, When would lumber arrive? Where is his crew? When do I choose siding and roofing colors. I never could get an answer on his phone, I left messages, sometimes he did call me back.
He finally sent a "mason" to remove existing brick and build up block and brick on the foundations that I had done in the fall, The "mason" showed up for a couple of hours here and there. Two other guys showed up along with the lumber (not nearly enough to build what we had planned) They built a 3 sided box on the front of our house, they had no blueprints and did not seem to know what they were doing, I had some of the same questions for them and they were evasive and answered each of my questions with "You will have to ask John" The plan called for a window in one side. After they left, I noticed the window was set about 4 inches higher than the existing windows. I called to leave a message about that. I never got a call back, but the two men did come back to change the window.
The same two guys showed up almost everyday, but they seemed to just "hang around" and had no real purpose. Finally the "brick mason" worked almost a full day and got almost 3/4 of the little room added to the front of the house. The building inspector stopped the work to ask where the vapor barrier was. The whole wall came down and it took another week to get the brick back up,
Finally a crew showed up to demo the roof, Hurray! We are actually going to get started. They completely tore of the roof, and didn't come back until I called several times worried about a coming rain storm. They finally started to install the laminated headers needed to support the second floor. I looked up and noticed that the  "supervisor"  was setting a main beam to the outer edge of a cantilevered bay. Again I corrected a huge mistake.
I spoke to John, and expressed my concerns, He did not seem to be aware of who was doing what - when on this project. At this time, we are still on good terms.
5 beautiful days pass and no one has been here except to tarp the roof in several small tarps, the roof has many peaks and valleys, I am dreading a catastrophe!  Sure enough, a huge rain that soaks my roof, runs down my walls and through the house and floods the basement, where all our stuff is stored, Three rain storms, and three floods later I finally decided to cut my losses and fire him. We have sent several letters requesting a refund, of at least half the deposit back, He sent us a phony bill stating all his expenses and we owe him $16.00! We hired another builder who had to remove the structure and in order to frame the new structure. My new crew had the framing done and the shingles on and had us "buttoned up" in a week and a half.
