Our blinds even came in earlier than Mike had originally told us and were installed quickly and efficiently. FFASHION WINDOW TREATMENT INCAs of November 9, 2015, I emailed Fashion Window Treatments in VA: The order that was placed on Aug. 11th 2015 was returned to you because of the sheers being made incorrectly and the color being wrong. As per many emails and phone conversations, you were instructed to not replace them and to refund my CC. When my order for the sheers was received, I called and was greeted by a very rude person who was clueless as to your website stating that the pinched pleated custom sheers had 4 finger pleat , not the 3 that the sheers had that were sent to me. Also, your website tab for ordering "Free Swatch Offer" said I had to set up an account in order to get free swatches. I did set up an account and found no sheer voile samples at all. Since you offer only 4 sheer voile colors on your sheer page, I assumed I had to pick one from the four colors listed. I was only interested in an off white color and the colors for white shown were "voile winter white" and "voile snow white" The color difference between these two was very distinct. The color of the sheers sent to me was VERY white and sewn incorrectly, the response from your store was unacceptable. The rude lady I spoke with ended up blaming a new employee. In the meantime, I was sent 2 sheer voile swatches from you and neither of them were labeled with a color and were very sloppily cut. When I returned the sheers, you were instructed to NOT to remake any because of the way you handled my order and your customer service was horrible, I did not want to do business with you. After failing to follow instructions of not to remake the sheers, you still sent out another set of sheers. They were returned to you in Sept. and I have a signed receipt of delivery of 9/25/15. The sheer color was still not correct. I have given you ample time to credit my CC. You have caused a major delay in our new home having proper window coverings and your rude customer service was not appreciated or professional. I will contact my CC company and BBB, Angie's List, and as many as I can, so others will know the way you conduct business.- Mary S.

AI wanted to reduce the solar effects of the southern and western exposure windows in my new house not only because of the heat in the summer, but also because of the harmful UV light and the fading it would cause to my new furniture. My realtor recommended Michigan Glass Coatings and wow, I'm so glad he did! From the start of the in-home quote by Jordan to the installation by Jordan and Aaron today, I'm beyond happy! I found them to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional and neat and also VERY accommodating when I made a change midway through the installation. An added benefit of the film I chose is that the skin cancer foundation recommends it as an effective UV protectant. It's no wonder Michigan Glass Coatings have been in business for over 40 years. I highly recommend Michigan Glass Coatings!

Prices were lower than others that I got quotes from & Communication was good with the home office (Had to wait a couple months because of waiting list). FThe installation crew had an inexperienced person who installed a window improperly. There was a big rain and the window leaked causing damage to my family room ceiling. The supervisor insisted it was not the window that caused the damage but immediately wanted to fix the window. He refused to pay for the damage even though the building inspector said the window was at fault. After much arguing and threatening I did receive a check for damages. I would not deal with this company again. Pay a little bit more because you get what you pay for.

FIf I could give zero stars, I would. First, it was taking forever to get my order. When I looked at my order, they somehow had the wrong address (my former address from five years ago), so I contacted them to change the address. They assured me that the address was changed. A couple of weeks later, I was notified via email that my order was delivered but when I checked my front door it wasn't there, so I went to my old address, 30 minutes away and got lucky that the owner was there and had received my order. When I got it home the 3 roller shades that I ordered for side-by-side windows were all 4 inches too big. I followed the online measurement directions which suggested that you add 2 inches per side to your measurements for an outside mount. I should have stayed with my original measurements. When I called, they suggested that I keep an inch on each side. They re-made them, and AGAIN sent them to the wrong address - even after I re-confirmed that they had the right one. Again, I had to go to my old address to look for my delivery. This time, no one was home, so I took a chance and waited in front of their house for a while until someone may come home. Luckily, someone showed up within 90 minutes. This time they had showed up with 2 boxes! They re-made it twice (6 roller shades), all still too big! Due to the global pandemic and for personal reasons, I waited to address the issue. When I finally was able to contact them, I was sent a message that the CSR's supervisor determined that the blinds were made correctly. Therefore, they cannot offer a remake for this order. Their policy states that they will make up to 4 shades if the customer is not completely happy. However, they offered to remake the shades at a discounted price! I will not give them one more penny! Worst service ever! A $500.00 lesson learned - They stole my money and left me with 9 useless roller shades to get rid of. I do not recommend them!
