    My car is leased and under warranty. This service came with the lease of the car for 2 years so it was free. It took about 37 minutes for the work to be completed. The only worker I came in contact with was the service writer and he was pleasant, professional and answered questions. They could have better tasting coffee in the reception area.

    Excellent.  Recommended that I replace the rear tires.  I always ask for Brian.  He has worked on my cars for years.  I followed him to this shop and as long as he is at Grand Pointe I will be a repeat customer.

    Valvoline Instant Oil Change
    My son took his 1994 Ford Taurus in for a basic oil change at this Valvoline Instant Oil Change Center. I have worked in the automotive industry for 30-years and know cars inside and out. I paid $500 for this mechanically sound "rust bucket" and only wanted a basic $25 to $40 oil change. The oil was old and needed to be replaced along with the oil fliter; nothing else needed to be done. I went over the vehicle when I bought it and changed the battery. Everything else was in fine condition - especially considering the age of this vehicle. Looking at at anyone could see it was an old beat-up vehicle to be used as very basic transportation. Imagine my surprise when my son returned from this place with a $115.67 bill!! And this was after a $20 discount!! (What?!?!) My son told me it was "strongly recommended" the premium oil and premium filter be used, since the vehicle was so old (what kind of logic is that?!?) and the air filter and fuel filter was also a professional recommendation. Upon speaking to Jason the manager, he admitted to selling my son "premium" MaxLife Oil and filter, plus a new air filter and fuel filter - but then refused to admit there was anything wrong in "educating consumers" about their choices. Jason would not make this right and frankly was contrite in how he manipulated my son. To all those doing their due diligence before choosing an oil change center (like I wish I did!), I also "strongly recommend" people avoid this particular place. From my son's and my own experience with this establishment, they manipulate less informed customers to spend far more than they need to spend. If this is how the Valvoline company trains their franchisees, consumers would be better off avoiding Valvoline altogether.

    I last used them in May. We dropped the car there then they brought it home and we went back together. They did very good service. They will even pick you up if you want but we had another car. The staff is very good and very friendly. We use them all the time for oil change.

    Always friendly and willing to work with customer. Inspects and then informs of estimate which is very accurate. Have had them work on prior owned auto and did great work so have stayed with them for a couple years now. Referred by a friend.

    As always it went very well. I did not have to wait very long and they also inspected the noisy window that I told them about. They gave me an estimate of what it would be to get it fixed and explained to me what the problem was. They never try to sell me anything or tell me anything else is wrong with my car. They are always honest, courteous, and professional. The waiting room is quite nice also. They have free refreshments, a large tv, free Wi-Fi, and seating area.

    I called and made an appointment for 5/13/14 to bring in my Van for AC repair and a check engine light that was on.  I was promptly greeted and had the service order written and was driven home in a timely manner.  The service manager told me she'd keep me updated on the progress of my service.  After 2 1/2 days and 3-4 phone updates that my car had not even been seen yet I went and retrieved my van and will no longer utilize this establishment for any service on my van.  I'm confused as to why I scheduled an appointment in the first place? The service manager kept telling me my van was moving up in the list to be seen, like it was a first come first serve sort of system. This was the first time I had used Al Serra to service this vehicle, in the past I was using another location farther from my home and thought it'd be nice to stay a little more local. Side note after retrieving my van I called the dealership I had used in the past, Hall Chyrsler in Fenton, they diagnosed and called to ok start of repairs within approx 4-5hrs!

    I used the location on Flushing Rd in Flushing. But everything went well the car was fixed and they were always contacting me providing me with a status on the car. Good communication inside and they only fixed what I wanted fixed with the car, since there are more things wrong with this old car and I appreciate them wanting to help this old car and keep me on the road. 
    I would highly recommend very honest trustworthy guys!

    I was very happy with the result. Bill, the owner, did a good job with some major repairs. It was done properly, on time and at a fair price. He did not try to sell me services I didn't need. However, if he sees something that should be fixed, he will mention it. He will also tell you why it should be taken care of.

    The service shop has been solid overall, but this particular day they didn't have a filter--maybe the cabin air filter, but I'm not sure. My wife was the one they talked to. No note was made on the invoice, so now I'm not sure if they have a record of the maintenance that was missed. We'll see if they follow through next time!
