    My son was a patient of Dr. Jensen. We all, most importantly my son, felt very comfortable with him. He had great bedside manner. He answered all questions and made us feel at ease regarding our concerns. The nurses were very personable also. We would definitely use this practice again if necessary.

    On the table, he punctured my bladder and hit a large artery, from which I started to bleed profusely. He basically laughed it off as minor bleeding. Being a doctor myself I knew what a red screen meant, which means that there is massive bleeding. Then I got off the table, made my way to the sink and urinated about a pint of blood. After laughing this off yet again he sent me home with 3 days of antibiotics. Thanksgiving Day 2004: I had a fever of 105 degrees. Doctor Jensen, covering for him, refused to answer a page from me for 3 entire days. Sunday after Thanksgiving, he wanetd a urine specimen from me to see if there was some kind of infection. Doctor Jensen again refused to answer the page I sent him, and the Monday following Thanksgiving it only got worse. The E. coli that was found in my urethra was then pushed into my blood supply, which resulted bacteria (E. coli) meningitis. I went to the emergency room with the recommendation of my family doctor with a 105 fever. Scarletine rash was all over my body, and I had a 56,000 white count when a normal count ranges from 4,000-7,000 leaving me completely delirious. Infectious medicine came in while I was in the ER, Dr. Khan, started pumping me with a Rocephin IV. I was hostpilized for 7 days. They even put a central line in my neck so that I could receive antibiotics everday for a month. It took me 27 days to bring my body back to a normal temp (homeostasis).

    I was in the middle of my schooling to become an MD myself. I could not go onto complete my residency after this episode due to minor brain damage, and loss of my hearing. All I can say is STAY AWAY from Tri-City Urology in Saginaw, MI. Dr. Bulusu and Dr. Jensen should not hold a medical license. They do not care about any of their patients. What's even worse is that Dr. Jensen covered for Dr. Bulusu the entire time. The infectious medicine doctors in the ER informed me that had I come in 6 hours later I would have died.

    Still 10 years later these guys will not take responsibility for what they have done. If I can help even one person stay away from these guys I feel that I have saved a life.

    Dr. Ubusu was prompt and thorough . He performed exam and explained in entirety the prostate and issues that come with age . He is very personable through out the appointment . He guided me through a very private matter and I would use him for a physician anytime .

    He was really good and I would highly recommend him to others. He is very personable and professional. He was very good at explaining what was going on with my foot and just a really all-round nice doctor. The office was fantastic and so was he. I will use him again if needed.

    He is a DO and is not a MD. They are very patient friendly which you don’t find much these days. I left a doctor who had a great sense of humor and I found with Dr Archbold he is very easy to talk to and I feel he listens to you.  He is very willing to help.  His staff is very cordial and friendly.  I feel doctors are never punctual. I am glad to have him.

    I have been attempting to phone Dr. MacKinnon's office to set up an appointment for over a week. Either I am put on hold via the automated system or I am told that due to high call volumn they are not taking calls-please leave a message and someone would call me back. I tried 3 times last week, finely getting through to the office this morning. I told the receptionist that I needed an appointment with the Dr. as my thyroid meads were running out and I was sure he would want to see me. I was told the first available appointment would be August 18th so I took it. I asked the girl if they would order blood work for me as well as a order for a mammogram, so when I arrived for my August 18th appointment the test results would already be there and ready to discuss with the doctor. She said she would give my request to the doctor's nurse and that these test orders would be mailed to my house.
    I then phoned by pharmacy to refill my thyroid medicine as I do not have enough to last me another month until my appointment. When I arrived at the pharmacy to pick up my RX, I was told that when they phoned MacKinnon's office to get an ok on the refill, the pharmacist was told that I was no longer a patient of Dr. MacKinnon's and my RX would not be refilled.
    Upon arriving at my home at 6pm, I saw that Dr. MacKinnon's office had left 2 messages on my answering machine. The first message asked me to call the office, the second message from Dr. MacKinnon's nurse informing me that since I had not been in to see the Dr. in 2 years, the requested blood test order and the mammogram order would not be sent to me. I must wait until the August 18th appointment and they would not be refilling my thyroid medicine until after I was seen in August.
    I tried to phone the office as soon as they opened the next day only to again be put on hold via the automated system for over 20 minutes before I became frustrated and hung up.
    Back in March of this year I had an upper respirtory infection and called Dr. MacKinnon's office to set up an appointment. After being put on hold for a very long time, I was finely told that it would be 4 weeks before I could get in to see him. I explained that I needed to see someone sooner as I probably would need to be put on antibiotics and was told that that was the best they could do and if I needed to be seen sooner, go to Urgent Care which I did. At the time, I thought that maybe the office was extremely busy with the bug that was going around but now I believe that that is the way the office works.
    I am very disappointed with this experience. I have been a patient of Dr. MacKinnons for about 5 years now ever since he moved his practice to Freeland. It seems that the practice is growing so fast that it has completely lost sight of its mission. I very much liked Dr. MacKinnon and the way he practiced medicine but I will not go back there or and quot;attemptand quot; to make another phone call to the office.

    Dr. MacKinnon is an excellent listener and communicator, offering options for treatment and explanations of pros and cons. There is never a hint of inattention of rushing in his demeanor. He provides referrals to specilists as appropriate. He includes the patient as a member of the healthcare team. Laboratory reports and specialist referral appointments were made and confirmed promptly via telephone calls from his staff. He and his staff are definitely at the top of my short list for primary care over my 72-year lifetime experience with providers, not only in this area, but also in other states where I have lived.
