    We had a long a complicated mortgage process when buying a foreclosure. O'Sullivan was great in being accommodating and responsive with moving dates and a last minute need to move items into storage. The guys were pleasant and on-time. We thought it a 5-star experience until we found some damaged items. We had a couple lampshades that were damaged - one came off the truck damaged (basically shredded) and the other was forced inside another shade, which had to be broken in order to remove it. Most of our items were moved into the basement, but did so in such a way that it was hard to get to everything (heaviest boxes on the outside, no organization in terms of item sizes, etc). Over the last week or so we've began to organize our boxed things - SIDENOTE - our new home is currently undergoing renovation, so we didn't need immediate access to everything right away. Upon moving things around, we found out two expensive, vintage items of ours were severely damaged. First item is a Mid Century Modern Danish wood framed loveseat - one of the legs was totally broken off. Second item is a 1955 console record player that appears to be majorly manhandled; one of the plastic dials is missing, and several panels on it are loose and detached. Both were in perfect condition when they were moved. The loveseat is hardwood and leather, and has essentially never been sat in - just sat in a side room for us, and from the family (whom we know, that we got the piece from) it had the same life. The record player was rarely used and never had a scratch on it. Apparently the insurance claim process with O'Sullivan requires that you make a claim within 10 days of the move. While that's clearly stated on the moving contract, it seems like a stretch that anyone can go through a household of goods within 10 days after a move. Anyway, I made the claim with the office and was told the following: Lampshades should be crated and are not reimbursable because they're fragile. I get it, but the one was FORCED into the other - that wasn't an accidental break, they were handled/stored inappropriately. Regarding the loveseat, apparently 45 days after the fact, one of the movers miraculously recollects there being a crack in the leg, so they're not responsible. Memory is a magical thing. And lastly, the record player can just be nailed back together. Even if they did honor any of the damage, under the standard insurance plan, it would only be worth $30 which is less than the $250 deductible, so therefore nothing. I'm really disappointed. Granted, they looked at my claim after the 10 day window, the guys were great, the company's flexibility was wonderful and timeliness was also great, but these items were manhandled. Between moving twice and having my things stored in their warehouse for almost a month, I paid over $2200 and ended up with damaged items. Vintage, irreplaceable, costly to repair items. I'm not happy. I would recommend them, but MAKE SURE you take photographs of your rare/vintage items that you are concerned with protecting.

    This week I am going to change over to another company. I am very dissatisfied. I am just very unhappy with them. I have been with them a long time but they screwed me around this time. They went from $135 to $168 on the last bill. I have had all kind of issues with Comcast. Primarily, they quoted me one price to do something. When I called to have it completed, they raised the price and added shipping charges. I don't need that.

    The clock was a gift many years ago and is as cherished as it is beautiful. It is one of the largest grandfather clocks and has a chime that warms our hearts. I say this, to indicate how much it was missed when it no longer could chime. So, I truly didn't think there would be anyone on Angie's List that would repair such a clock, but hoped there would be.
    When I saw Mr. Hammond's information listed and the great reviews, I was happy beyond belief. I could hardly wait to contact him. I called him and after he asked a few questions, it was clear that he had extensive experience in clock repair. He also sounded like an easy to work with kind of person.
    He arrived on time and came prepared to overall the clock; removing, cleaning, lubricating and tweaking parts. He talked to me as he worked which I really appreciated. He knew so much about the history of this clock and I learned so much information that was very interesting. He is a nice friendly person that really knows a lot about clocks and for all he did, his rates were reasonable.
    Would I recommend him for anyone looking for clock repair? Absolutely!

    He called within 15 minutes of me asking on Angie's List ... very surprised at that. I explained my problem and he said I can do that. After that, before I knew it the project was done. Fortunately I arrived home in time, as he was finishing, to pay him on the spot. Done and done.Good guy. I'd hire him for handy man stuff again. Thanks Angie!

    I called on Monday after a hit and run driver damaged our old mailbox and post.  He said he could be out on Thursday between 11am-noon.  At 10am Thursday morning I received a call from my mother-in-law that she called 911 to take my father-in-law to the hospital, so I called John to reschedule.  He came and did the work anyway, leaving an invoice in the door.  When my husband and I returned home, the mailbox was in place with the address numbers in place as well.  Very pleased with the job!

    In the interim, we had our stuff in White Star Movers storage because we sold our home so quickly in Royal Oak, long story short, our things were crates there and when I came out here to Colorado, things changed for my other half and I so we were no longer together so I had to come home. I was waiting for him to find a place and he was supposed to find a place at the beginning of Summer. I re-careered as a teacher so I needed to have my things by August because our school year is just really bust and I knew I needed my things so I could get settled. My other half was kind of procrastinating at that time to find a place so inevitably I had to go to the warehouse which they don't really like which I had to. I needed to separate out our things and the impression that I got that hey were going to have a set side designated so that when we got there things would be there. I think it was just communication errors from the person in the front to the persons in the back, they don't really have the room. I have never dealt with someone as unprofessional as the gentleman who owns the place. I moved into teaching and my other half at the time was upset at me so he was making me pay for having to go separate out things out. I had to pay them by the hour. We weren't allowed to go in the crate and I had two people slowly take things out of each of those boxes so it was a nerve racking, emotional experience. It was definitely not made easy. It was a very emotional day. You would just expect that a business owner would not add emotion or fuel to a fire. I said somethings that were very unprofessional as well. It's just that it was the day that when you are emotional you say things that you don't mean. It was the worst experience of my life. The guy that was pulling things out of the crates, he was awesome. He was making jokes and then he got to meet my dad at the end of the day and everything was cool. They really didn't need to be any emotion that day. If the owner of the business was professional instead of unprofessional, I just think that it would have been a completely different day. The cost of it wasn't that bad.

    * Roberto and his employees were excellent to do business with - kind, courteous and professional.
    * after the play-set was installed - the backyard was cleaned up better then they found it.
    * Most of all my 2 boys love the play-set they installed .
    The
    nice thing about these play-sets are the variety of different styles
    and the ability to customize them. Also, as your family grows so can
    your play set..   You can at any time change accessories and/or add new
    ones.
    We are actually in the process of adding to the one we
    currently have.  The kids can't wait until we have it all designed and
    installed.  Once the weather starts to warm up.

    For my daughter's beginner's level, it is $48 a month. The quality of the instruction is good. My daughter is five so she keeps it fun and engaging for the little ones but she also teaches them things. She is just very, very nice. With regards to punctuality, she just tends to start late.

    Clemmer provided an estimate of the weight of our belongings which determines the moving and storage fees. The estimate provided by their employee Matt was significantly under the actual number.  Despite Matt's assurance of his 'significant experience', his estimate was low, resulting in higher moving and storage fees.  I can only assume this is a 'bait and switch'. 
    On moving day, all items were not delivered and the inventory of items not delivered was not accurate.  Four days later missing items arrived. However, two chairs were missing and a bed damaged and could not be assembled.  Claims were filed on these items, but were not honored. 
    Bottom line, no concern for our belongs, bait and switch estimation process, no integrity to honor claim process, no customer service.  I suggest you look to another providers (that includes avoiding Allied in general).

    My experience couldn't have been better.  The website was well done.  Jack (owner) is incredibly responsive, diligent and prompt, as well as an excellent communicator.  He sets the bar for customer service, and the price was reasonable.
