AHeidt RenovationsWe’ve had Brian and his team here a couple of times for different work. We’ve already set up new dates for them to come back to do more work. They are all very professional. They do really good work as well as great prices. We are always very satisfied. I highly recommend this company. We won’t use anyone else!- Walter B.

AWeatherstone Property Inspections LLCThe inspection went very well. Corey, who inspected the property was very professional and extremely thorough. He went from top to bottom and, inside and out. I was very pleased with his work!- Mark C.

APenz InsulationI called Penz Insulation Contractors checking the competitiveness of another bid. I was ready to spend up to $9,000 to replace old insulation in my storefront building. When Matthew from Penz showed up, he advised me that I did not need new insulation--that the material in place was treated for mildew, with a fire-retardant, and was sufficiently thick. His advice got him no work (at the moment) and saved me from spending $9,000 that I would have had to borrow! I appreciated his integrity and recommend him enthusiastically.- Linda M.

ASuperior Home Building LLCJerrod Thomason, the owner of Superior Home Building, did a complete remodel of our house including a new addition. He did the work while we spent the winter in FL. I contacted him based on the outstanding reviews on Angie's list. We did not meet him until the job was well under way. Everything was done by phone, email, and FaceTime. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result. I would recommend Jerod for any job. He was outstanding!! Our job included: new roof, new siding, new gutters & down spouts, replace all windows, new flooring, new lighting and electrical, new plumbing, seal walls and waterproof basement, paint every room and ceiling in the house. Also a complete remodel of the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, closets, and an addition which included a large new bathroom, walk-in closet and storage area. Use Superior Home Building you won't regret it!!- john b.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganWe had FSM install a sump system and crawlspace encapsulation the week of Thanksgiving 2018. I have been holding the review off until spring to see if what I had them do resolved the problem I was having with snow melt and run off ending up in my crawlspace. The 4 young men FSM sent to do the work were very professional and new exactly what they had to do to complete the job, did their work and left without anyone knowing they were there. They even enjoyed the bacon sandwiches we served them for lunch. The crawlspace is completely bone dry (exactly what I wanted) and we now have extra storage space. I highly recommend FSM. They did a remarkable job at my house and if I need anymore work in that regard, they would be the first one I'd call.- Robert K.

AW.M.G.B. IncThe job went very well. The installer, Dave, did an excellent job. He was very precise in everything he handled. His assistant, Bradley, was great too. It pays to hire a company that specializes in your needs! So glad we found them.- Sue B.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganIt went fantastically. I would recommend FSM to anyone who needs their crawl space cleaned and insullated. When they did the work two years ago, they did the work quickly and the team members were professional and courteous. The young man who did the inspection this year found a leak in the seam and fixed the problem in record time. He was so nice.- Sandy M.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganOverall, it went very well. The start of the process was a bit rocky, since the guy originally scheduled to give us an estimate called at the last minute to say he would come at a different (inconvenient) time. Since the "new" time didn't work for us, the company apologized and scheduled Joe (a different gentleman) to give us our estimate. He seemed to really know what he was doing and seemed honest and knowledgeable. We thought his recommendations made sense, and we decided to have the company do the work. The companyy worked with our schedule well; their workers were prompt and efficient, and the whole job was completed in just two days. Our basement walls are secure and look much better as well. We are very happy with the work that was done.- Christian R.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganSome problems were that the opening for crawl space access in laundry room floor was enlarged so the crawl space cover is smaller than the opening, leaving a gap in the floor. There was no floor support installed to replace the foundation where the cinder block hole was made in the foundation wall for access to the crawl space under the family room. Clothes dryer was left in center of laundry room floor. Fan installed under floor runs continuously and is noisy and can be a distraction to sleep at night. These items were satisfactorily corrected by FMS Foundation Systems of Michigan. The fan was switched to a single breaker position so it can be turned off at the main breaker panel. It was expensive but the problem of the house feeling damp was corrected. The house feels drier now and there are no more musty smells. Sealing the foundation vents and the added crawl space insulation reduced home heating cost.- Margaret H.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganWe were moving into this home and we wanted the crawlspace area's clean to ensure our grandson who has severe allergies and asthmatic, wouldn't have any additional problems. We also wanted the extra storage space. The foundation is good and we didn't have any leaks. It was a matter of cleanliness and insulation. We had four (4) estimates of which F.S.M. was the most expensive. The estimates varied greatly! The lowest bid was $1200.00. By the time I was done researching and getting bids, I had a pretty good knowledge of what products are on the market and what I wanted. I must say in this case you get what you pay for. The products used by this company far exceeded the product examples by the lower bids. One guy actually had products you could buy at the big box stores which is not appropriate (in my opinion) for this type of job. It was suggested we install access doors in case of future repairs to plumbing instead of having workers trample through our remodeled basement. There are two crawlspaces, one was needed for each side. We chose one of each type (Turtldoor and Everlast door). The crew arrived as scheduled, and were very professional. It took about two days for the work to be completed. The only complaint I have is that not enough detail was given to the location of the turtle door. The initial placement of the door allowed water to enter into the crawlspace area (the door was seated below grade level). I have to say, I expected some flack when I called the company, HOWEVER, that was not the case with this company. They were back out to the house within 36 hours, and re-installed the door and replaced the area that got wet inside the crawlspace. The crew chief truly felt bad and took total responsibility for the placement of the door. In all my years of dealing with companies, I have never seen anyone do that. Kudo's to you! If I could do it differently, I would make sure to pay attention to the placement of the Turtl door. I couldn't be more happy with the work that was completed. It was a very big expense, but the products used, and knowing that the company stand behind their work, over rode the shock of how expensive this type of project is.- Barbara D.

FScheduled a "quote" and ended up with a 4 and 1/2 hour presentation, fed lines of bull crap over and over until we are about to fall asleep on our kitchen table. He made the deal seem great but we were also half asleep, he used high pressure sales tactics like taking off a "HUGE" discount for signing today that's just a load of bs. But it worked and he got us to sign that night. The next morning we woke up out of our trance and immediately sent out the cancelation notice that luckily Michigan provides us the option to due because if it was up to them they would not allow you to cancel but it's the law. Companies like them are the reason this law exists, if you need something done on your home do NOT hire them because they will always be crazy over priced and won't leave your house until you sign something.

FHaving previously contracted HomeSpec once before, I recommended them to my mother-in-law to repair a leaking rod hole. Instead, the sales person tried to sell her a $17,000 interior drainage package that would have caused major damage to her finished basement. Ultimately she hired a different contractor who repaired the rod hole and an exterior masonry problem for $250, their minimum charge.

DThey did the work quickly and seemed OK at fist but in 5 years have had to call them twice. First time they came and took care of the leak immediately. Now I have been trying to work with them for 2 years and am about to seek legal solutions to my problems. Their service department is great in promises but horrible in following up. Buyer beware, go with a roofing company not these guys.

AMet with 360 Rep John R. (14 Aug 20). Received a quote for installing (4) 42"fortified helical piers to raise foundation of my attached garbage. Mr. was professional, knowledgeable, and he arrived on schedule. He performed an exterior inspection of my home and interior inspection of my garage to see if other repairs were necessary. He determined no other concerns aligned to my existing issues. The quote seemed reasonable for the amount of work involved; however, I was skeptical due to the hugh investment. It was somewhat comforting to learn there was a warranty and an engineering report was optional. I was a little concerned John forgot to inform me about the $250 permit fee that was required in addition to the engineering fee ($500); however, he said he would waive/cover this as it was due to his error. I reached out to three other contractors for quotes. One company which had previously performed waterproofing services in my basement had provided a quote for $25-30k. However, the company provided zero references for doing foundation supports. The second company "Percision Foundation Systems" convinced me to tear out finished paneling in my basement looking for a presumed horizontal crack. Fortunately, no such crack(s) existed anywhere; however, I now have to pay additional monies to have drywall installed. The third never responded. In all fairness, 360 SOL was my only option available to get the work done prior to winter. I was very nervous about moving forward; however, I am definitely impressed with my decision to have the work completed by this company!!! The work was completed 28 Oct (covid). The entire process went better than anticipated. The crew arrived on time and completely on schedule. Very professional and polite teammates. Clean up went well. Only two concerns: the $250 permit fee surfaced as a surprise in which the owner quickly reconciled, and the dirt left onsite could've been compressed more. Overall, I highly recommend Foundations Solutions 360!!
