  • Dr. Bradford Murphy has an excellent sense of humor which is important to have when you're dealing with kidney stones. Dr. Murphy personally is a very warm, effective, and efficient doctor. It's a large office, they are pretty prompt about addressing you and you don't wait too long.

  • Dr. Shah is who I see and he is brilliant. I had seen other doctors before him and he was the only one who saw the problem and was able to get me in to surgery within two weeks. He is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes his time to answer any questions I have.

  • He is very difficult to get into. It was for my mother. Once we got him, he is just so engaging. He explains everything; it made everything just great. He was her surgeon. He did surgery for her and everything went great. I understand the difficulty to get in; there is only one of him. He is overwhelmed.

  • She always asked me why I was there even though she is the one that scheduled me to follow up. She asked me why she performed the surgery on me. Everytime I went it was like I was a brand new patient.

  • I thought his attitude was lackadaisical.   He hadn't so much as looked at my file before entering the room to talk about my potential surgery.  I believe he previously decided that we were doing surgery, gave me a list of foods I can and can't eat, physically examined my abdomen and asked me if I had any questions.  I felt uncomfortable that they do the surgery in a "surgery center" as opposed to a hospital because of previous complications in past surgeries and I voiced my concern.  He seemed uninterested.   I also felt uncomfortable that they needed to take a digital picture of myself for my file.  I have been to plenty of doctors, and that hasn't happened, ever.  When the doctor was talking about a date for the surgery, he told me they'd call me.  He said it would be "in a few weeks because of the holiday"(labor day). I decided to get a second opinion from the surgeon my husband had used for the same problem.  In the end, I chose a different doctor.  Their follow up for scheduling my surgery was also irritating.  By the time I heard back from them, I had already had my surgery and practically recovered.  I didn't like the fact that he was unconcerned with the amount of pain I was experiencing, and that the surgery was going to be scheduled on his terms - when it was convenient for him.

  • My mother had a phone call from him today and she is due to get another scope in June.  She has internal bleeding and he frequently has to go in a cauterize those areas.  I would give them A's all the way through.  We are going to continue to see him and I would highly recommend him.

  • Dr. Sturm never appears to be in a hurry. He comes in the room, greets you, sits down and hands you a pad and pencil so you can write down anything you might forget. When you talk about symptoms, he takes out this large book of human anatomy and shows you what part of your body is affected and what is going on. When he talks about treatment, such as tests or medication, he always asks "How does that sound to you?" He gets the patient on board with knowledge and you are willing to try anything he suggests. Plus, he is always right, and on those rare occasions where a treatment doesn't work well, he changes it. He has never told me "It is in your head", or "Its just stress". He doesn't believe anyone should suffer if there is some help.

I know why others have not reviewed him, and it is probably because they don't want him to get too many patients. He is a jewel in the medical profession. He could earn a lot more money if he sold his practice, but he refuses. His staff is just as nice and caring as he is. If you can get him as your doctor, you will consider yourself lucky.

  • They are very thorough. As far as medical professionals are concerned they are inexpensive, but thorough. There are two generations of doctors working there. The founder is probably 80 years old and is still in the practice. His daughters and sons are also in the practice. It is multi-generational and so they have not only the latest medical knowledgeable from the younger doctors, but they have the historical perspective as well from the father. I sure would recommend them.

  • Dr Ghalib was prompt, ordered appropriate lab work to determine cause of my issues. I was impressed that she asked pertinent questions not posed by other doctors, that she said would help her connect the dots between various health issues that have been treated but remain unresolved. She also stated she does not prescribe meds when a condition may be corrected by lifestyle change--how awesome is that??!!! I am hopeful that I may have found a REALLY GOOD DOCTOR who does not merely rely on labs to find out the real source of a health problem. The other thing that truly impressed me is that she is attentive and does not limit the visit/treatment to one issue at a time, but seems more holistic in her approach. She also gave me a TO DO list to complete before our next visit!

  • Their professionalism and their attention to their patients keep me going to them. I would recommend them. They have a good staff. They are actually like friends after so many years of using them. They are very personable. They are amazing.
