    Ryan, Dr. Daniel J
Dr Ryan was very thorough in his examination, and description of the
surgery and expected results. The pre-surgery measurements went well. The procedure was very successful, with no
complications. The follow up visits were as thorough as the pre-surgery.

    Coriasso, Dr. David
Very prompt and friendly. I had a 9 a.m appointment and was handed the paperwork to fill out at 9 a.m., then straight in to see the eye doc. He performed all the bizarre eye tests they do, explained each one, showed me the images of my eyes, then spent time talking to me about particular things that bother me in order to figure out what type of glasses I should get (progressives, bifocals, something else.) He took the ime to answer questions and I never felt rushed. Then one of his consultants ran down my frame options, helped me pick a pair, I paid, and was out of there by 10 a.m.
I must say it was a more thorough exam, and more and quot;face timeand quot; with the optometrist, than WalMart. AND it was cheaper! The $300 or so I spent at WalMart was money down the drain, since I never did get a prescription that worked. (To their credit, they did do the second exam for free and they were very nice, but still...)
I left and quot;effectiveness of careand quot; blank because I haven't received the glasses yet. Although it's good to know that my 54-year-old eyes are in great shape except for normal age-related wear and tear. And I do feel confident that I'll end up with glasses that work for me! He told me that they'd tweak the prescription for no extra charge within 30 days.

    Ryan, Dr. Daniel J
The surgery was very successful. I like everything about him. He is very capable. He seems to be a bit brusque. I had a girl friend that went to him and she quit because he was brusque with her. But he has always been nice to me. I have always been able to accept his brusqueness whenever it has been appropriate. I never had any trouble getting an appointment.

    Williams, Dr. Mark P.
The office staff is always competent and friendly. The service is one-on-one, and not a discount server, so the prices and not discount either, but we have been very satisfied. Dr. Williams himself is very friendly, professional and does a great jobs. The selection of frames for glasses is good, but not overly extensive. We've been very pleased.

Overall it was a positive experience. It was easy to schedule an appointment. It is a big place, you are directed to various waiting/appointment rooms. Estimated total wait time (in waiting/appointment rooms) of 45 minutes. The only big negative was that I was given an incorrect prescription. I was seen again and my glasses corrected at no cost.

    Foon, Dr. Irving I.
I am in my sixties and have prescription glasses for reading. One day, I was driving and noticed black spots in my field of vision in my right eye. I called and made an appointment to see my optometrist as soon as possible. He was able to see me within a few days and gave me a thorough eye exam. Dr. Foon and his staff examined me to be sure I had no bleeding or other serious problems. They detected the development of cataracts and recommended that I follow-up with an ophthalmologist (eye physician and surgeon), which I did. They also concluded that the black spots that I had in my field of vision were most likely 'floaters'. At present, it was not a serious condition, but it should be monitored and I should follow-up if the problem worsens (more spots appear).
My family and I have been going to Dr. Foon and Deltavision Optical Center for over twenty years for our eye exams and prescription eye glasses. They have always given advice that considered our needs and best interests. Several times we reused old frames and just replaced the lenses to save money. They have always let us know when our vision hadn't changed that much from prior exams. In February of 2011, my husband was eligible to have his 1st eye exam under the Medicare program as he is diabetic. He too was pleased with the thoroughness of the exam and professionalism of the healthcare provider.

This place was TERRIBLE!!! My first visit, I was there for over THREE hours; they still couldn't and quot;refractand quot; me even after dilation. I had to come back two more times. I finally gave up and said just give me my old script from my previous doctor - the script was good and I could see. They finally agreed. Then when I ordered my contacts online, they verified the wrong prescription - they said it was one of the many scripts they TRIED to get a good script on me. So, when they arrived, I couldn't see with them and couldn't return them..... HUGE waste of money and time!! Then when I disputed the bill because I spent 3 days in their office for hours and hours at a time, they sent me to collection!!!!
Additionally, they were listed as accepting my health insurance, but when it came time to order glasses with them, it was revealed that they only accept it for exams and not product.... Apparently the two sections act independent of each other.
I will NEVER go back to this place!!

    Foon, Dr. Irving I.
He is a really great doctor. We all really like him. His staff is really great. He is really efficient. I have never gone to a different optometrist, but he is really thorough. It's been a really good experience. He is semi-retired so he only works certain days now. His office is open and available. He has a partner, but I only ever see Dr. Foon. The billing and administration is really efficient. I will see him until he retires.

    Waters, Dr. John A
I have been using his service for longer than twenty years. I have seen him for glasses, contacts, and Lasik. When I had the Lasik surgery, he actually had an employee from his office pick me up and take me home from the surgery from Flint to Pontiac. He does a great job. He is a good all-around eye doctor.

    Walter Cukrowski MD
It did not go well. pre-op was a nightmare, most of pre-op staff didn't seem qualified. Cataract surgery itself seemed to go well.  After surgery, I felt all Dr. Curowski was interested in was to do the other eye . He seemed defensive with my concerns and problems with pre -op.  Follow up appt. was again a sales pitch to do the other eye.
