ABest price services llcThese guys are the absolutely best. Just and his team came out to install a new driveway, walkway, garage, and back patio after a major flood did damage. The work was beautiful. When they replaced the sidewalk they made it a foot wider than it was before (without charging me a higher price) and came up with some really nice designs for the replacement concrete. Their work was immaculate, the workers were extremely professional and made sure to do the project just the way I wanted, and their prices were very reasonable. AMI Concrete Lifting IncFor the last couple of years I've noticed my driveway slabs lifting, cracking and separating, I was going to get them replaced until I noticed MI Concrete Lifting's truck. I stopped and asked what their services included and was very interested when I found out that not only could my driveway be leveled, but the cracks and joints would be filled with caulk. DHEFFNER CEMENT WORK1st pour (for top half of driveway) was awful looking from day one. Poured above lip of basement windows. Causing me to replace one of them as it caused a drainage issue when it rained. Old driveway sat below edge of windows. Ended up with a two tone driveway that ultimately cracked. Also, stated that he was going to use a local (to us/homeowner) concrete contractor, but didn't. It's been years and I should have taken him to court but my health issues would have made that tough.- Karen A.

AMotor City BuildersMotor City helped us transform a lake front cottage into a family home. 900 Sqft of addition were added to the existing home. ~75% of the existing structure was demolished and rebuilt. The job required a lot of ingenuity and creativity. Dave and his crew helped us from the design phase through the building process making necessary adjustments through the life of the project. AARROW CONCRETE CUTTINGWe recently hired Arrow Concrete Cutting for the second time to cut a hole in our 10" poured cement basement wall. They cut holes for egress windows several times a week and they are probably the best around. This last hole was 3 ft by 4 ft and the cut was within 1/16 of an inch.- Brad G.

FCaribou BuildersTom made multiple promises and statements of work he was going to complete. Unfortunately I did not get it in writing because I thought he had the integrity to do what he said he would. However I surely misjudged him and he does not. In addition he still owes sub contractors money from the project and will not respond to anyone after many attempts.- Gary V.

AMotor City BuildersAll workers were professional. Cleaned up after each day and when the work was finished. The contractor miss quoted the cement work. He missed adding gravel to build up area to make it level. When I talked to the owner who quoted he told the workers to do what ever it took to do the job right. AThe work was done almost 2 years ago and is holding up without any issues. It was done in the timeframe promised, done professionally and the finishing was excellent. I had flooring installed and developed an issue due to the installation. Both the owner and site leader recently came out and inspected the system to ensure there was no issue with the drain (there wasn't). This type of customer service is rare these days. I am very happy I had the system installed and appreciate the professionalism I have encountered with this company from the estimate, work, finishing and follow-up. Thank you!!

FAs a past customer I wasn't treated very good. They got one of their machines stuck in my backyard and a wrecker had to come and pull it out, it left a huge hole in my yard that Austin Brick Pavers never returned to fill in. During the course of my project I left two messages with Eric Austin and a week after I left my first message and a day after I left my second message I stopped at his place of business that is listed on their website. I thought he may have some family issues and that was the reason for not returning my calls. I talked to his wife {redacted personal contact information} and told her Eric wasn't returning my calls for over a week, she threatened to call the police on me, nothing like biting the hand that feeds you and your children. The brick pavers they installed have sunken causing water to collect there. I wouldn't recommend Austin Brick Pavers. I know Eric will come back and question why I wouldn't call about my sunken pavers, but if he wouldn't come back to fill in a huge hole why would he come back to correct a paver issue.

AIt's been a while since Matt and crew have a review on here, so I thought I'd speak up. My (very senior) folks had a failing sump pump a few years ago, Matt came out and was great - for a very reasonable price. Fixed it quickly and perfectly. When my water heater failed, my mom recommended him. He was great on the phone and through text. The price was about $600 less than the other quote I received. So a man named Rick came and he was fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable and totally professional. I felt in good hands. He not only replaced the heater but did a couple of other necessary things but still stuck to the quote. Honestly, if you need a plumber anywhere near Metamora, call them. Can't recommend them highly enough. Ethical, punctual, affordable, and likeable. What else do you want?
