We dont hesitate to recommend Atlantic Coast Waterproofing. We had a very specialized drainage issue in our tight crawl space that involved intense labor. Gary and his team worked both relentlessly and efficiently while also taking the time to clearly explain each step of the process. We never felt intimidated to ask a question and felt comfortable with his extensive waterproofing knowledge. Due to the special nature of our project, Gary also had to work closely with other contractors and did so with the utmost expertise and professionalism. If you want your job done properly and with integrity, hire Atlantic Coast.

An excellent job was provided by Atlantic Coast Waterproofing, from the quoting and estimating process right through to completion.  Gary's crew who came to the house were very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around.
Gary went out of his way to take the time to assist my wife with understanding the complete task of the job at hand.  Gary kept us informed of the project details with status updates, schedule planning, and participated in conversations regarding our project and offered suggestions based on past experiences.
Gary also has a strong network of support from other contractors who work along with him.  All of these individuals were equally as professional as Gary and his crew.  They show great friendship and the ability to work side by side without any issues.
    Definitely good money spent.

.He was very nice and helpful. He didn't actually come out, he called me that he was too far away but consulted with me and it was of great help and apologized because he couldn't make it out. I explained my problem to him and he basically explained to me what he thought it would cost basing on what I was explaining.

It was excellent from beginning to end. He called me right back; I was braced for guests coming in to town so he scheduled for the following day evening. He ended up running late on the job that he was on so he called and asked if we could push it back and expressed some concern about that. He ended up making the trip at ten o'clock at night and he took care of it at ten o'clock and it was excellent.

The elaborate project would have torn up a significant part of our master bedroom and walk-in closet that had just been remodeled.  He wanted to bring in a cement contractor and attempt a huge project resupporting the foundation.  I never got a quote but I am sure it would have been over $10,000.00.  I have an old lake house that has been added on to multiple times and had a leak where 2 foundations were joined together.  The previous contractors did a poor job of finishing things off and thus the problem.  I have never had any dry wall cracks to show foundation shifts and I felt after just remodeling he went overboard to get an expensive project.  Sta-Dry of Lansing came out and never mentioned any thoughts of foundation problems.  Fixed the problem, including hiding all the plumbing work behind the drywall in the bedroom and did the project for $2,600 with a lifetime warranty (no exceptions like Gary likes to sell against) and finished in one day and cleaned up everything.

I had 2 companies come out for quotes.  Normally I would get more but it was close to the holidays and we wanted the project done.  We had a pipe break in the master bathroom after just doing some tile work and had to redo drywall and paint from that problem along with totally redo the walk-in closet with new carpeting throughout the downstairs.  Within 2 weeks another leak from a floor drain (Sta-Dry project)  had gotten the new carpet wet and we just wanted our lives back downstairs.  Sorry for the long intro but it brings me to the point.  After telling both contractors what we had just been through it was obvious we were sick and tired of our lower level being torn up.  The original estimate from Atlantic Waterproofing would have required all of the new drywall in the walk-in closet to be torn out and foundation work to be done.  This project would have required lots of time and more drywall work in both the walk in closet and the master bedroom along with cement work on the foundation.  We live on a nice lake and I think they saw dollar signs.  Venting...sorry.  Sta-dry drove over from Lansing, sat down with us and worked out a reasonable solution with no talk of ever needing foundation work.  They came up with a way to hide the plumbing behind the drywall so we did not have to cover that somehow in the corner of our bedroom.  The were professional, did the work in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves and found a cost effective way to do it without any major disruption to our lives.  They look to have a solid warranty and I felt confident that if I ever had a problem they would take care of it.  We obviously were not excited about more work downstairs or a sump pump in our master bedroom but Sta-Dry made it pretty painless and gave us an option of 12 months same as cash through a bank they work with.  Would definitely use them again and were appreciate of how smoothly things went after the other 2 projects we had just lived through.  Life is back to normal...Thank Goodness!!
