ABrick & Level Masonry Restoration LLCExcellent as planned. Very neat and efficient. Urgently needed work was performed during winter month which was specially set up with a heat supply to cure the masonry. Choice of brick match up with our 65 year old existing brick turned out to be very attractive. Line item breakout in the initial quote was a bit confusing but the bottom line price was reasonable for the Quality of service and end product. ANC CementMy experience with N.C. Cement exceeded my expectations. I had a lot of work done on my new construction home. I had over 5,000 square feet of exposed aggregate (pool deck, 2 round sitting areas and bands on sides of my driveway and the borders of my motor court) and it looks stunning! The way they do the exposed aggregate is so much nicer than any other exposed agg jobs that I’ve seen, especially considering the difficult slope I have in my driveway. The concrete looks beautiful with the exposed aggregate. Every neighbor or friend coming by our house stops and compliments our driveway. Not only do they do great work, they are wonderful to work with. The owner Nick is a super nice guy and really knows his stuff. Same with Brandon who worked really **** ** my house. They are honest and literally stopped working on my project because my footings by my front steps were not done right and he was worried about me having fractures in my concrete after he poured. That’s what makes them stand out in my opinion! They are professional, honest, hard working, punctual and get the job done quickly. I would use N.C. APMS PaversWe first used PMS in 2016 for a new patio. Then in August of 2020 we wanted to extend our patio. PMS matched our 4 year old patio perfectly. They were very professional and protected with sheets of plywood the part of our yard they had drive over in the bobcat. They made suggestions to what I needed and that made a difference. AGreat work by Mandarino Construction, and they had the lowest quote. They also honored their quote from February, even though I didn't give them the go-ahead until April and they didn't start until October. They were fully aware of my city's codes, applied for the the building permit and scheduled the open-form inspection before pouring. They knew all of the things I either didn't know or didn't think to ask, such as a 4-foot depth under the front stoop. The concrete is nice and even with the garage and the street, and is graded to guide water away from the house in all directions.

AWe just had our backyard patio done by Rolland Cement and we could not be happier with the results. The owner, Greg Rolland, was professional and responsive from the beginning when we called in January for an estimate to the end of the project.The price was very fair. It was pretty impressive to see the crew of 6ish men efficiently get the project done at each step like a well oiled machine- they really are a master of their trade. The final product was exactly what we asked for and looks amazing. We were also pleasantly surprised that the yard sustained almost no damage, considering there were massive equipment and trucks rolling through it (they put pads down on the lawn to protect it). We feel really good knowing that it was "done right" and will be contacting the company again in the future for other concrete projects. Just a helpful hint: We started looking into getting a patio poured last summer and much to our frustration, everyone we contacted was solidly booked for the year. We learned the hard way that if you want to get a patio or any type of summer project done, you need to get a hold of the company and get it locked in as early as possible. These companies are incredibly busy once the summer begins and are tackling project after project. So if you begin calling around in June and you do no hear back, it's not that they are being jerks, it is that they have a million other things on their plate.

FQuick to underbid everyone and responsive at first. I had wanted to do the porch first since it was covering portions of the outside that needed to be painted. That wasn't accomplished. They give you a quote and then pitch it to a 3rd party whom you never speak with. They failed to paint as directed and cost me additional supplies because they kept painting the sections the wrong colors. They failed to mention what might be needed to complete the job and even though I asked several times on the second day what might be needed from me the next day so I could make arrangements, never thought to mention that my front door had to stay open for a few hours which I could have planned for with any warning other than minutes before and after I was already at work. They left a mess and came back to only blow off debris on my porch leaving my deck and yard looking like a junk yard. They quoted a cement job far less than others and promised to complete it this year. Only to do the paint job first which I asked them not to do which they assured me would not be problem. Now they claim they quote me a price that would lose them money. I've even offered to work with them but they have decided to ignore me. My house now has a paint job which isn't bad but was not done to the very simple directions we gave and has incomplete portions on the face of it. We were given the excuse that he had to pay them hourly but never acknowledged how much time was wasted due to a lack of commutation with me and their 3rd party crew. My porch will now not be done until next year by another company which means I get to start the whole process over again. Very disappointed. Gave them ample opportunity to make this right. Was upset that they couldn't honor their bid and was even willing to meet them halfway or all the way, just to be ignored and now I highly doubt they ever finish repairing the issues they left with the paint job, which I already paid for. Very deceiving and unprofessional. I never once was rude towards any of them and am very frustrated and upset by their inability to communicate and honor their word. I got the bid at the end of August and still haven't gotten a sincere answer from them since they took my money for the paint job.
