    Jeffrey Animal Hospital
I've been taking my 2 cats to JAH for almost 2 years, which included all that is involved with kittens. The staff have been consistently friendly and at this point I feel secure that I can rely on them to know what they're doing and be gentle with the cats, as well as with me (1st time cat owner). The front desk person squeezed me in recently for a non-emergency, same day, because I felt it was urgent, with no hesitation and no comments after i got there from anyone. I was told on the phone that I would have to wait a while because they were booked. I'll tell you, those 5-6 minutes were brutal. :)

    DARA In Home Dog Training
John was great! When I got my puppy my sister's family was living with me. I was pretty sure we were giving the poor puppy mixed signals so I hired John to train us so we could train the puppy! Josie, my pitbull puppy is a very smart, very stubborn and at the time we started to train her still young (less than 3 months old) little girl. We were having problems potty training her and her biting was out of control. For the sake of everyone involved we needed to get trained so Josie could receive clear directions. With John's help Josie quickly caught on to what was being asked of her (doesn't mean she didn't continue to test us ;-) ), John helped us with potty training, walking on a leash, sit, lay down, stay. He even came back to help train her to come with a tile mate (ask him about it....was easy to train). My friends and family have been so impressed with Josie that several people have asked for John's number. I'd recommend him to anyone!

It went great. I was left a detailed note about each visit. I texted the owner part way through my trip to check in and received a detailed response within one hour. I returned home to my pets and my home and found everything was good. Pets were happy. And my home was clean. My mail and packagers were brought in, all pet waste was cleaned up and my garbage cans were taken out and brought back in on the appropriate day.

I brought 2 cats in. It is excellent. They are very good and very caring. My cats are not happy about going to the vet but they are very patient and caring. I've always had good experiences with the staff.

The person that interviewed me (Jennifer) and the pet sitter (Jamye) were both courteous, professional, and at ease with the cats. Jamye did a wonderful job in caring for the animals, and left my house in excellent condition. However, the owner of the company reacted poorly to a situation (I left keys that didn't work in both locks as planned, so they had to get access to the house via the neighbor) by applying at least 4 layers of duct tape to the door handles (admitting he searched my home to find it), and when I complained, reacted unprofessionally. He made no attempt to phone me at the time of the problem, and when I requested a personal visit to confirm the keys malfunction, he demanded a visit fee before he would do so. While I would hire Jamye again, I do not feel the owner should have access to my home, therefore, I will not hire this service again.

I can't say enough good things about Canine College. We have a 100 pound rescue Dogue de Bordeaux that displays all sorts of inappropriate behaviors when she gets overly excited, and for this reason, cannot play with other dogs she doesn't know well. She also has full-on panic about going into an enclosure. Having a special needs dog, especially a large and unruly special needs dog, can be very isolating. Canine College's "private studies" daycare has been a godsend. She gets to be around, but not interact with the other dogs, and she gets play sessions with the Canine College staff. And, they let our dog use one of their larger multi-pet "suites" for her indoor time, if they're not booked for boarding clients. The accommodations, which they're able to make because of their size and their great staff, have been so appreciated. We love seeing her hop around with excitement when we walk into their facility. Canine College certainly isn't the closest dog daycare to us, but it's worth the extra driving.

    Jeffrey Animal Hospital
My cat is very friendly at home, but is a disaster at the vet.  Jeffrey Animal Hospital was very considerate of my cat's fear of the facility and made his check-up as efficiently quick as possible.  They determined that he had an infection and gave him an antibiotic shot (instead of me having to try to get medication into him in a pill form).  It was quick and easy.  The vet indicated that usually she likes to see the animal back within 2 weeks for a follow up visit, but in my cat's case (with his huge fear of any vet) she said that the visit would be more detrimental to him than not having follow up with her.  The blood in his urine went away and his litter box habits returned to normal, so I haven't returned to Jeffrey.  I received a follow up call from the veterinarian and we were both happy with the treatment results.  I appreciate how the vet worked with my cat's fear and with me!  Definitely will return to this animal hospital.

I have been using the Dog's Bow Wow for over 5 years.  I have a dog that hates to have her nails cut and won't let my husband and I do her nails. They do a great job -- they let her cut them, it is very quick, they do a great job and I have always received great service from them.  The dogs are well behaved for them and I am in and out in less than 10 minutes for the 2 of them.  The dogs are a chocolate lab and a pointer beagle mix.

Nicole arrived at my home at the scheduled time and spent about 20-30 minutes just getting to know Milo...he is pretty yippy with strangers. She allowed him to express his dominance (barking his fool head off while hiding behind me) and after he figured out that she was no threat (and a yummy treat didn't hurt either) he warmed up to her. Once all was good in Milo's world, we took him out to her fully equipped van and she got down to business. About and hour and a half later, Milo was all handsome in his new haircut and tie.

I think he is the best in the business. He is a gentleman, he cares about animals, he is kind, he is thoughtful and he accommodates his clients if there is any emergency. He saved my cat's life in more than one occasion, one time when I had somebody die he kept the cat for a couple of days without charging me because he knew I had to go to Chicago for the funeral. He is just a good guy and he gives nothing but the best care always. He never disappoints me and I always go there because of him. When he wasn't there last week when I had to take a few kittens in I wouldn't go in there because I'm not crazy about his partner, it's him. He is unbelievable about what he does and he is a great surgeon. He is honest; when I was having a real crisis with the cat and everybody kept diagnosing it and it cost me $3,000 in three weeks to find out that all my cat needed was miralex, but he has saved my cat more than once.
