Hospital Care reviews in Farmington Hills

  • I use David Koff. I have been going here for over 25 years. This man is the most trustworthy doctor I have every met. I would highly recommend. He is very detailed. My dad hand picked him for me, and I will continue to go to him. He has a sense about him, that shows he knows what he's doing.

  • I thought about pinging them on punctuality because the procedure ahead of me in my OR ran long, but I decided I cretainly wouldn't want them to rush MY procedure. The kept me updated on the delay and were scrambling to clean up the room to get me in as soon as the could. They were friendly attentive in a professional manner.
All in all I felt they took good care of my family and me.

  • Oakwood hospital is the only hospital I have every used. I am very comfortable there and am confident in the knowledge the entire staff has. I have visited there for a broken arm, sleep study, MRI's, birth of my child, a surgery last year and a hernia surgery scheduled there in October of this year. They've recently upgraded their billing system and it seems to be working much better than in the past. Hospitals are not usually a place that is warm and welcoming but at Oakwood I feel at ease.

  • I went into the ER after going to the St Mary Mercy Hospital ER the night before then getting sent home to get sick all night and sent to a gastroenterology doctor that just told me that there was nothing that he could do for me and that I needed to go back into the hospital. I was in the ER for about four hours while I waited for a bed then I got transferred to a room. I was in the hospital from Wednesday to Friday during which I had an upper GI scope and found out that I had gastroenteritis and a stomach ulcer. I also had a HIDA scan done to test my gallbladder to see how it was working and found out that my gallbladder wasn't working properly and that I would have to have it removed. I was discharged because for insurance reasons it needed to be an outpatient procedure. My stay was as good as being in the hospital could be. The doctors were concerned with what was going on with me and wanted to figure out what was going on and how to fix it. I would return to Botsford in future if needed.

  • The first time I visited she spent a good amount of time (upwards of 30 minutes) doing a background interview about my health and family health history. Though not uncommon for initial visits what was distinctively different was her bedside manner here. She was genuinely interested and engaged the conversation as opposed to checking off boxes and peppering through questions. As stated above, Dr. Pathak phoned me with the results of the labs after both visits. In my experience, this is a rarity.

  • It went great. They are very thorough. They are very detailed, and cross the I's and T's. Sometimes you are de-laid a little bit, but enjoy working with them. I would highly recommend.

  • I was treated so well it was stunning. I was in fear, alone in there and no attention. I got the attention and got sleep, it was amazing.

  • They are my neighborhood hospital. Their service was efficient, professional and timely. I was satisfied.
