ASuperior Home Building LLCJerrod Thomason, the owner of Superior Home Building, did a complete remodel of our house including a new addition. He did the work while we spent the winter in FL. I contacted him based on the outstanding reviews on Angie's list. We did not meet him until the job was well under way. Everything was done by phone, email, and FaceTime. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result. I would recommend Jerod for any job. He was outstanding!! Our job included: new roof, new siding, new gutters & down spouts, replace all windows, new flooring, new lighting and electrical, new plumbing, seal walls and waterproof basement, paint every room and ceiling in the house. Also a complete remodel of the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, closets, and an addition which included a large new bathroom, walk-in closet and storage area. Use Superior Home Building you won't regret it!!- john b.

AHarms EnterprisesOverall I was extremely pleased and satisfied with the outcome. From a construction standpoint, everything was completed as requested. The quality of work was excellent and timely. The work was done in the winter months and the crew and work-site were kept very clean. The outcome was excellent and the addition turned out beautiful. But what made the most difference was Gary Harms himself. Unlike most builders, Gary is very customer focused and detailed orientated. He keeps you informed every step of the way so you don't have to wonder what is being done. He makes suggestions/recommendations along the way so that you can make sure the work that is completed is to your liking. He is always accessible and available when needed. This was very important for me because this is a cabin and I am not at the home regularly to inspect the work. With Gary you don't have to worry about what is going on, he will make sure you are informed, and most importantly, happy! He also did a lot of "custom" work that he suggested and all of it turned out fantastic. Much of it was done by Gary himself which proves his commitment to quality work. I would recommend Harms Enterprises for any building/construction job!- Michael B.

DAgain the sales rep was a super nice guy. Just outrageous prices and had to sit through the whole demo. This was for a small cottage. $7,000 for one std kitchen door.

FAfter his hour and a half spiel and after it came down to the end, I said I needed to get a price. He gave me a price without a broken down estimate with details. I asked him for a written estimate and he said it would be $1000 and non refundable. I told him he needed to go then. For some reason, my request went through the system and he contacted me again asking why I reached out again. I told him I would never ask for him to come out again and we went on our ways.

FHe delivered 2 and I paid him $220.00 but when I checked it was only barely 2. I called him and we went round and round. I threatened to take him to small claims court and he got belligerent he said his truck held 2 facecords and he delivered 2 truckloads. It is barely 2 piles 8 X 3 1/2 feet. I have emails from him promising 4. We finally agreed on 1 more and calling it even, he kept promising to come out but never showed. He totally lacks integrity, I would avoid Tim at T&R at all costs, there are plenty of honest people out there.

AI have the most beautiful kitchen by Custom Creations. I designed the kitchen and we worked out together on how to design the cabinets. He is so good. My contractor estimated what he thought it should have cost and he came down right at the money so I imagine that it was what it was, it was fair. His punctuality was very good considering he lives in Traverse City and we live down here. He's honest, very kind and you can trust him in your home. He's also very friendly. I enjoyed having him in my home.
