    Fridge is dead, but the service call was reasonable. We were not charged for part or return visit to see if fridge could be saved with said part. Love the ethics of Brian and Chris of Ace Appliance. I have used them for years for all my appliance repair needs. They have saved me many dollars fixing things instead of me junking them...

    The owner, Ben, came to my home, took measurements and did the initial consultation.  It became immediately clear that he was very knowledgeable in the business.  He submitted the landscape design within the time frame we discussed.  He and his crew spent four complete days at my home transforming the design into beautiful reality. A thorough cleanup was performed and all debris was removed and taken away.  Ben instructed me in the care of the plantings immediately after the work was completed.  Care had been taken to insure that all plantings were survivable in this climate.  I am very happy with the result and would highly recommend Prestige Landscape and Design.

    The project went great. Ive had TBI back twice now and they have always taken great care of us.  I have recommended them to many friends and would not call anyone else. They are trustworthy and really great guys. Everyone that worked on the project was polite and did an excellent job. If your looking for a company that you can trust then TBI will do that for you, everything that was sighted in the contract was completed and there were a few extras that came up along the way that they were very fair about. Couldn't be more happy with my new house.

    My initial call was returned promptly and the person was pleasant and professional.
    When I asked for a estimate for damage done to my roof during a recent storm I was told there would be a $100 fee that would NOT be applied to the job done ... but right there on the Angies List sidebar I was looking at 'Free Estimates: Yes', a $100 fee for an estimate does not qualify as a Free estimate.

    I contacted them when I noticed a piece of my ridge vent on my deck when it is supposed to be on my roof. They were prompt and estimated the damage and inspected the rest of the roof for anything additional. The estimate was $50.00 to repair that vent and they said my shingles may have only 5years of life left but no further damage immediately. I was very happy with their responsiveness and quality of work.

    Since we bought it in 2002, I don't have a lot of information. I have not been happy with the quality of the refrigerator, but I should have bought a better brand. It runs fine, but the gaskets on the freezer have been a problem from the beginning. Since we only use this during the summer, we can get by.

    I have had very good experience. I'm a little bit disappointed that they are no longer servicing. I have a whirlpool duet, front load washer and dryer and they are no longer servicing them. And, I think they're no longer servicing a couple other things I have, but other than that I have gone in there to order parts and things that we've done ourselves and they have excellent service. I'm going to say a "B" because, well we got the parts and everything was fine, I was still very disappointed that they didn't do any service any longer.

    The representative from the company came out and did a wonderful job inspecting my home. The other two companies I had out prior never did an inspection even close to what this company did. They made me aware of my problems, several I had no clue even existed. They educated me on the products, I saw how they solved all of my problems and they worked out a great price. They installed sooner than I expected and the whole process went great. They cleaned up everything and walked me around, after the install, and made sure everything was okay and I was satisfied. They did bend one piece of my gutters, but fixed it. Highly recommend this company.

    on scheduled day & earliest appt time somewhere between 8-10 am, I waited the 2 hrs. at 10:00 I called to get status. turns they had l/m on v/m.  apparently since I didn't answer my phone they were not going to come out. I called to let them know I had stayed home from wk and was using time off work to my advantage, wking in my yard. explained I do not carry  phone w/me in the yard so I did not get call or v/m. It was agreed to reschedule as I had only arranged 2.5 hrs off wk for the appt. I also had another person @ my hse to stay w/representative once I left for wk. Can't remember what or for sure but think the next appt something on their end came up & couldn't make appt. When I called & spoke w/Rich I suggested he schedule his appts the preceding night w/his employees so 1. they could be prepared & have all necessary info, tools, etc on board and 2. perhaps they could then leave from home or get to the workplace in the morning & be prepared to leave asap & not leave customers waiting for 2 or more hrs or not be prepared for the job. He's been in business & the owner for more than 25 yrs & apparently knows his business. But he was nice & appeared to be receptive of this novel idea. Also explained I was taking time off wk so he offered to come out personally on Saturday so I would not have to take any additional time off. I thought that was very nice of him. Went on to explain I already had the diagnosis of problem on dish washer as I had already used Angies List to have my drain checked as I thought it was plugged which is why dishwasher would not drain. Tech stated said drain was not clogged but the outgoing drain motor was not wking. Rich still wanted to come out & chk as he did not want to get wrong parts & cost more $ for the repair. Did show up, took dishwasher apart &  agreed w/original diagnosis. Said he'd order parts, took old parts & would call to set up appt to install. After a couple of weeks, I called to chk status, hadn't ordered parts yet. Few days later Theresa called to get more info on dishwasher to try & find parts. I returned call & gave her the same info Rich had taken with him. I had all original instruction book, installation guide & picture w/breakdown of parts & part #s. I then remember there is a silver label on the inside of dishwasher door. Called back again & gave Rich this info. He stated dishwasher must a special kind cause part was so difficult to find. He gave me the part number. Asked him if I should look for part he said no they'd take care of it. Three more weeks went by so I called Theresa again & asked her if parts had arrived. She stated she did not know as she is not always notified. referred to Rich. He said he hadn't yet ordered parts and because my dishwasher was unusual & he was going to have to send a guy out the next day to try & find parts. I called Rich back w/toll free GE # for parts. Couple of days later I called Rich & told him I had located the part on the internet should I order? He said no, he could order the part & by the time I included shipping the price would be the same. He did order part and called when part arrived to set up appt. Thought it would end up costing about $180, $55 for part & labor, on top of $74.95 Angies List fee which he stated was just for diagnosis even though I already knew what the issue was. I thought this was too much $ but it was still cheaper than a new dishwasher which I had already priced out @ a couple of appliance stores. Set up appt. Morning of appt |Rich calls and states he does not have all the parts. He thought part he ordered was complete part but only rec'd half. So he would have to order add'l part. I again suggested they check things out to make sure they are prepared, if so he would not have had to set up appt till he knew he had all the parts & I would not have been disappointed yet another time. | |Haven't heard from him since. I do not think it should be the customers responsibility to check continuously if parts are ordered. I always had to contact them. Only initiative from A1 Mechanical was when Theresa made first contact call. I was impressed she had contacted me so quickly & told her so. She said it was part of requirement from Angies List customer must be contacted w/I 3 days. I had high hopes but to no avail. Dishwasher is still not working, I'm out $74.95, loss wages from work, way too many phone calls, time & my frustration. | |I do apologize for taking so long to respond but I knew it would take me hours to complete this lengthy saga. | |Sincerely, Pat
