The project went great. Ive had TBI back twice now and they have always taken great care of us.  I have recommended them to many friends and would not call anyone else. They are trustworthy and really great guys. Everyone that worked on the project was polite and did an excellent job. If your looking for a company that you can trust then TBI will do that for you, everything that was sighted in the contract was completed and there were a few extras that came up along the way that they were very fair about. Couldn't be more happy with my new house.

I had TBI install some windows for me last fall and it went very well. They installed a ply gem lifetime warranty window that has been great. From the start Taylor was easy to work with and even showed me some interesting features on the window. He was always easy to contact and was very helpful through the entire process.  Im going to have them back this spring to hopefully do are kitchen.

    Blanchard Builders
He's done some fine work. I bought all the materials so the labor was about $1600 or $1700. He was professional, knew what he was doing, did it on time and had all his tools there so there was no running back and forth. He knew what he needed and when it was time to work he got to it. Anytime he was going to do something and I was there he asks me, "Is this what you want because we have everything drawn up so I'm about to do this and once we do it, it's going to be a pain in the butt to redo it." So he walked me through it step by step.

Shingles blew off after a windstorm/ tornado. After the storm i had my roof repaired and shingles replaced. I needed my front porch redone because it was falling apart. He came by and told me what was needed to be done. First he did demolition and clean up. then he came over with all the materials to rebuild it so it was structually sound and beautiful. In a timely fashion. Then i noticed my leaky bathroom faucet so i called him up again and he came over and repaired it and now i'm a happy granny especially because he didn't rip me off. I'm ready to call him for further help on my next project. I would encourage other neighbors and community people to check him out.

Our kitchen was first on the list. He put the cabinets up quickly then the countertops and sink were installed. I was amazed at how fast he worked and how tidy he was. He always cleaned up after himself. Everything was done in a professional manner and with quality workmanship. The floors went in last and they were done with the same craftmanship.
We replaced a large window in our living room and he took his time to make sure it was sealed properly.
When it came time to gut the spare room, he spent as much time tearing our the plaster and prepping the walls as he did installing the new drywall. He again was very tidy and kept the dust to a minimum. When he was done the room looked great. I would hire him again for any job I needed to have done around the house. His price was very reasonable and I don't think you'll find a faster or neater builder.

    LOWE'S
i ordered the cupboard through kerron in kitchens at lowes in feb '12.   it is june 15th '12 and my project is still NOT completed.  i gave up working with kerron and started dealing with kathy in kitchens and harvy the supervisor.  What a difference.  Lowes makes you pay upfront for your project, but look out if there is a mistake or something is wrong!!! kerron could not figure out how to solve the problems and nothing got done for months until harvey and kathy took over.  now the project is rolling along alot better, i finally got my deserved refunds and we are waiting on a few misc items (paneling, drawers, etc to finally finish this project.  i heard a lot of things that they think i wanted to hear just to get me off thier backs, like how much longer is it going to take the glass doors to come or the pull out drawers?  she kept telling me they were on there way ... NOT!!  i waited over 3 months for 3 drawers that shouldhave come with the original order and the glass doors were mostly broken (7 out of 18 ) and NONE of them were the right size and i only need 8 doors!!  the reorder took another month and a half!! turns out, some of these things were never ordered to begin with although i was led to believe it was part of the contract!!  READ THEY CONTRACT AND PARTS LISTED to make sure you are getting what you paid for!  there were things in my order that i never even ordered! and things that should have been ordered that weren't.
Northwest cabinet Co. does the cabinet install for lowes and i HIGHLY recommend requesting  (Lloyd) them if you get an install. Unfortunatly the cabinet co. doesnt' get paid until the job is done and since lowes screwed up the orders so bad, they are STILL waiting to get paid as well.  They were fast, professional and did fabulous work. i cant say enough wonderful things about them.  same with the granite company but i understand lowes has dropped them now.  the tile flooring was ok.  did nice work but not the best and they won't help you design it.  i wont use them again for tiling. i have contracted a different company to finish the backsplash.
Overall, once my kitchen is completed, it will be fabulous!!  but all to Northwest and not necessarily lowes.  kerron did a great job designing but that was about all, she just could seem to handle the issues when they arose and really needs more training by lowes in that area.  Lloyd said that my situation  was really unusual so i hope that if you go with lowes that your experience will be better.  Oh yeah, i bought an under the kitchen sink osmosis system from lowes because she told me they could install it.  turns out the wasn't exactly true.  i had to contract out a plumbing company separately to come and install it so i feel i was mislead there.GOOD LUCK!  and work with Kathy in Kitchens if you do.  She has been the saving grace in all the issues no seemed to be able to figure out

    MC DANIELS KITCHEN & BATH
I don't think they took me seriously at first because I don't exactly dress or look llike someone who has a lot of money.    The sales rep took me directly to their cheapest line of cabinetry (Aristocraft) .  i told him I wanted midline or better and we went from there.   I met with him again to go over the cabinets i wanted and the Placement in the kitchen. (they came out previously - measured and took pictures) We are working with an existing kitchen so there isn't a LOT of room to work with, BUT the other company found me 1 more foot of space, knocked out one of the existing walls to make my snack bar a larger semi island with the cabinets hung from the ceiling  and replace older cabinets with newer pulluts and a nice new functional pantry.  McDaniels didnt SUGGEST ANYTHING.  they basically showed me a computer drawing of my kitchen and asked me what I wanted to do.  So, I basically had to design it myself.  The reason we were redoing the kitchen in the first place was to get new fresh ideas.  McDanield didn't offer any.  Plus he had pegged in the Aristocraft cabinets and not the ones we told them we wanted.  The other company and McDaniels both deal with the same midline cabinet company so I knew what cabinets I could get and where they would fit, yet EVERY suggestion I got from the other company that I presented to McDaniels, got shot down.  "We can't do that" or "Oh, that won't work there" and so on.  So, in the end, I ended up with the EXACT same layout as my original kitchen  and a pantry that was going to be even LESS functional than the one i have now.   Of course, since you don't give mcdaniels a depost,  they won't give u a quote  or give you copies of the layouts you decide on.  The 2nd meeting was very fast, he gave me rough estimates of the counter top  i wanted and a rough estimate of the labor and cabinets (nothing relating to plumbing or lighting yet).  BOTTOM LINE:  I went with the other company.  The labor from the other company was 1/2 the cost of McDaniels and even though the overall project was similar in cost ( other co. a little cheaper) I was getting about 6 additional  cabinets (with glass)a whole new stylish look and an additional ceiling to floor wall hutch (solid wood) that McDaniels didn't even think of to suggest for a dead area in our kitchen.  plus they were pushing the dura ceramic floor which i researched and found many ppl complained about! Cabinets are ordered and project is pending for march.
