    Ingham Painting
Manual and his crew stained and painted our wood sided house for us, and we are very pleased with the outcome of the job. Manuel is a very personable and professional person which was evident in the quality of his work. He communicated well when he would be working based on the weather conditions. This is the 2nd time we have used Manuel for a painting job. He also painted an interior room in our house. Both jobs were well done in a timely manner and I would highly recommend Manuel Heredia and Ingham Painting to others for all painting jobs.

    Ingham Painting
Manuel gave a good price but he started the job and asked for money to fix his truck, so I gave him $600 cash, then he asked for another $400 cash a few days later and I felt bad for him so gave it. Then he started patching cracks and painting over them without sanding and it looked terrible! Some places he put tape and painted right over it. He also only does one coat if you don't watch him. He refused to fix it, and argued so I let him go and hired someone else. I learned that it is not a good idea to give money up front, because then if they do a bad job, you have no leverage to reconcile, except posting reviews to help other people avoid the same mistakes.

Teachout Builders Inc & Teachout Roofing Inc
My wife and I were extremely pleased with the master bath remodel completed by Teachout Builders. The materials used were high quality, the workmanship was excellent and Taylor, his crew and all the subcontractors he used were professional, courteous and highly skilled. It was a pleasure having them do the job. We are very satisfied.

Teachout Builders Inc & Teachout Roofing Inc
What a completely refreshing experience! This contractor has a crew of punctual, dependable and experienced people. Teachout was not the cheapest quote but also not the most expensive-it was a fair quote and their customer service far exceeded that. For example, I noticed that one of downstairs windows had a tear in the screen. It couldve happened during the upstairs installation I had that homeowner quick sinking feeling of Oh gosh, theres another thing to put on my TO DO list. No. He had already ordered a replacement. Every detail-done.. An honest company- did exactly what he said hed do. Quality. Thank you, Taylor!

    Blue Sky Painting
I hired Blue Sky for a large project that included plaster work and ceiling painting in a great room two bedrooms, ceiling and walls, three halls and two stairwells and one storage room. Because the home is occupied I specified with Dave that the work would need to go room by room as I had no place to put all the furniture. He agreed to this plan. There were two phases. Phase one was the great room plaster repair and ceiling while we were out of the home for a week. When we returned the work was not complete. I withheld partial payment. They returned a month later to begin the second project, leaving my home in disarray for a month. In true industrial fashion Rick, the lead painter, proceeded to plan to paint all the ceilings at once. Then all the closets needed to be emptied to paint on one day. One closet was completed that day and I had to rehang and remove the same items the next day. Dave was of no help, indeed, he told my husband not to "upset' his staff when we tried to limit the number of spaces they painted. The storage closet had bedding and an upholstered chair. Rick agreed to leave that room alone. Then he entered it and began plastering without benefit of covering my chair or bedding. There was no trim work done. They did not respect my piano (water marks from beverages evidenced leaving their drinks on unprotected surface,) my sofa which remained in the great room had plaster chunks under the cushions suggesting it was not draped to protect; a new cherry desk had yellow paint on the legs and white paint on the top suggesting that when painting the ceiling and wall they did not protect this 4 month old desk, new carpeting in one room less than 3 months old has green paint from their drops and paint on carpeting in another room where the desk was also damaged. Drips on slate required using a scraper to remove. We have natural wood trim and they did not keep a good line between the wall and the trim. Some of the trim had paint when they removed the tape. They left the smoke alarm unattached and a cold air vent. They were more interested in meeting a timeline than in doing a decent job. I cannot recommend them. I bid this job between three companies and the price was the same as the others. I was mis-lead by Dave who said he would proceed room by room. Proceed with caution. Additionally, Dave and Rick made an appointment to come out and look at my concerns. They never showed and did not call. The cost in total was $4000.00

    EsserbuildersII
These guys are so good, I hired them twice! Albert and his crew are very good. They are personable and will bend over backwards to meet your needs. Albert came to my home and personally inspected my roof. He actually got on a ladder and inspected it! They installed a new roof on my home and repaired water damage in my dining room. I am extremely satisfied. I also had them install a new roof on my fathers house. Great team, I would highly recommend them.

    Carpentry Plus Building Inc
We enthusiastically recommend Carpentry Plus. Following our great experience with them siding our house a year ago, we engaged them to help us with an indoor project. We had a very large salt water aquarium that we decided to get rid of and thought we would turn the space into a closet. So of course, we called Carpentry Plus to help us. Brad came over and listened to what we wanted for the closet and the end-product exceeded our expectations. He also provided some excellent ideas on how we could increase our storage space beyond what we had originally envisioned. This included some new cabinets for the kitchen and more counter-space. The cabinets match our existing cabinets perfectly. We are very impressed with Brads skills. Part of installing the cabinets meant moving the wall about 12 inches and he also matched the textured paint on the wall perfectly. His team went above and beyond by changing out all the existing cabinet pulls and replacing them so that everything would match.

    EB Companies
Project went smoothly...Troy was super easy to work with, used my designs and the people that came in to do the work were professionals, neat and clean. There were several components and parts to this project and the scheduling worked out well, I was always knowing when someone and who would be coming to do which task. Even with a glitch, we were able work around schedules to get the job completed in a timely manner. I was never left without a basic functioning kitchen for more than 24 hours, which was a great help with making this project stress free.

    Gary's Drywall, Inc.
Long story short, My Wife's cousin was doing some drywall work for us. Gary's drywall was called in as experts, and they had several trials and tribulations to work through. Count on these guys to do things right, and count on their integrity and honor to tell you what is wrong and what needs to be done to fix it. It has been over 5 years, and I have not had a single nail pop! I'm almost hesitant to state that, as I would not have thought that even possible! They were very reasonably priced and they did an incredible job.

    JMD Wood Restoration
The chair was petty much demolished due to an accident. (Don't ask.) Broke my heart too, because my grandma did the needlepoint and it was "always" in her home. No worries, John fixed her up right, repaired and refinished broken wood, repositioned needlepoint and dyed trim to match. We will sit more respectfully on it in the future, but we CAN sit and enjoy it, thanks to John. As others have mentioned, don't be impatient because it takes time to do good work. He is a true artist, and a respectful restorer. The cost was reasonable.
