AD BURKE ASPHALT PAVING AND SEALCOATINGOverall went very well. The crew was on time, respectful and did good work. They involved me in the decisions on shaping the driveway and made sure I inspected and approved before proceeding. They cleaned up after the job and left nothing but a nice looking driveway. The owner was very good to work with and met all quoted terms of the job.- brian g.

ATomCo Asphalt IncIt went great!!! The price was very good (got three other bids) and the care at each step of the process was just excellent. I met with the estimater the same day I called for a quote. He answered all my questions and gave me a written quote on the spot. The wait time between my decision to go with them and when they came was very reasonable. Excavation of the new area and grading of the entire driveway was done in a timely, skillfull manner. The actual asphalt process went very smoothly and they left me with a maintenance sheet for my new driveway along with a coupon for maintenance next year. The owner was on hand to inspect the actual asphalting and was watching for any problems or questions that might arise. Overall, an excellent job at a fair price. Would recommend them to anyone.- susann b.

AQuinn Excavating & Pavingthey showed up right on time with a huge crew of guys. And one girl. LOL they were pleasant and got to work quickly the job will be done today even though I thought maybe it would be a two-day job.- John M.

AHayhoe Asphalt Paving LLCThey did a great job of leveling the driveway and repaving with asphalt and I ended up with a nice smooth drive. Am very pleased and would highly recommend Hayhoe Asphalt.- Jim K.

ATomCo Asphalt IncThe job was done in the afternoon, so the edges showed a drying different from the rest of the surfacing. Tomco installed the asphalt late last summer and even had the New Customer Discount Applied, so the application should have been done in the early morning. I was pleased that they acknowledged the error, and they were just as displeased with the work as I was. They scheduled another appointment to re-coat the driveway to help reduce the discoloration of the edging. The results are much improved. I believe that when they redo the driveway in a couple years it won't even be noticeable. I have uploaded several pictures. As you can see, in some places it is still noticeable while in others it's negligible. If you have new asphalt, make sure they are scheduling you for an early am appt (and if possible, on a cooler day).- Brian M.

ATomCo Asphalt IncThe driveway is very long, and they charged $6000 to do it. I used them because it was least expensive for tearing it down and putting down as much asphalt as they put down. It was the best quote we got from anybody. I had a very good experience with them. They worked from morning until 6:30 at night, and it was all done in 1 day. They were very good. I will hire them again in the future.- Greg H.

ATomCo Asphalt IncThey were not aware they had an Angie's List referral right away. It took a couple of days for them to respond to me. But they did excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves. They were efficient and professional. I would absolutely use them again.- Don M.

AWe bought a house with a patio that sloped downward to the house so when it rained, the water all flowed to the house and then seeped into the basement. Steve Fineas built a cement porch across the entire width of the back and sloped it to drain away from the house. It is just one step higher than the patio. It doesnt look sloped but it works perfectly to control rain water.

FQuick to underbid everyone and responsive at first. I had wanted to do the porch first since it was covering portions of the outside that needed to be painted. That wasn't accomplished. They give you a quote and then pitch it to a 3rd party whom you never speak with. They failed to paint as directed and cost me additional supplies because they kept painting the sections the wrong colors. They failed to mention what might be needed to complete the job and even though I asked several times on the second day what might be needed from me the next day so I could make arrangements, never thought to mention that my front door had to stay open for a few hours which I could have planned for with any warning other than minutes before and after I was already at work. They left a mess and came back to only blow off debris on my porch leaving my deck and yard looking like a junk yard. They quoted a cement job far less than others and promised to complete it this year. Only to do the paint job first which I asked them not to do which they assured me would not be problem. Now they claim they quote me a price that would lose them money. I've even offered to work with them but they have decided to ignore me. My house now has a paint job which isn't bad but was not done to the very simple directions we gave and has incomplete portions on the face of it. We were given the excuse that he had to pay them hourly but never acknowledged how much time was wasted due to a lack of commutation with me and their 3rd party crew. My porch will now not be done until next year by another company which means I get to start the whole process over again. Very disappointed. Gave them ample opportunity to make this right. Was upset that they couldn't honor their bid and was even willing to meet them halfway or all the way, just to be ignored and now I highly doubt they ever finish repairing the issues they left with the paint job, which I already paid for. Very deceiving and unprofessional. I never once was rude towards any of them and am very frustrated and upset by their inability to communicate and honor their word. I got the bid at the end of August and still haven't gotten a sincere answer from them since they took my money for the paint job.

took care of the mess and protected my roof that was recently re-shingled so that they didin't damage it.

Recent Review:
AWe had three companies quote the project. Pricing was similar between the three. Paul was the only one that brought a detailed, computer drafted plan to us. (One brought dozens of catalogs and tried showing us different pictures of plants, but it was very scattered and not easy to visualize. The last company wanted to charge $750 to work up a plan before they would even quote (what if we didn't like it?).) Paul was easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and got a good idea of what we were looking for after our first meeting. The crew was professional and always cleaned up after themselves. Work was done over a number of weeks in the spring. The crew would come and go but Paul would usually let me know when they would be arriving. We didn't mind being flexible as this is a landscape company's busy time. The finished product turned out great -- they tore out all of the existing landscaping and cut down two large spruce trees. Redrew the lines for the landscaping, installed new edging, buried downspouts, installed 3 new trees, 50+ new plants, new mulch in all beds and surrounding maple trees (that we had installed by Treesnscapes earlier in the year). They also added soil to improve the grading around the house and fixed an AC unit that was not level. Finally, they installed flood, spot and path lighting throughout the landscape.

Top Grade can save you the expense of new gravel. In most cases our service can repair your gravel driveway/parking lot with no new gravel added. We can also grade crushed asphalt to a smooth surface.

AFantastic! His regrading of the gravel driveway removed all the potholes and smoothed out the grooves. No added gravel was needed at this time. He even promised to come back after the next hard rain and smooth it over again for free. Unbelievable. He saved me thousands of dollars being quoted by an excavator to bring in tons of crushed limestone and re-grading my 100 yard driveway.
If you have a gravel driveway, it needs annual maintenance. If you have a gravel parking lot and want to get rid of the weeds and smooth things over, Top Grade Driveway Grooming is your guy! And if you have a private gravel road, say no more. Sign up for a regular improvement program that adds extra gravel, maintenance for $1500 a year.Reviewed by J. Michael L.
