We had a mold problem in the master bedroom. The mold remediation contractor removed and sealed the areas with mold in the walls and ceiling. Now we had to have the area rebuilt.we didn't like the location of the closet -- it was hard to find a wall for the bed.

Icalled Trivic Remodelers and Ned was able to come out the next day to give us an estimate. He talked withme at length about moving the electrical service for the closet, the problems associated with getting the drywall up the stairs, possible ventilation fixes to prevent further mold problems, and asked questions to be sure he understood what we wanted. He toldme he would be able to start in about 2 weeks.

After a week he hadn't gotten back to me, so I called. He apologized and within a couple of hours I had the estimate. It wasn't as detailed asI would like, but the amount was reasonable considering what we needed done.We agreed and he came to my house the next day to sign the contract. The contract was detailed, so I could tell he understood what we wanted. He did not ask for any payment until the day he started work. True to his word he started 2 weeks after the day he gave us the estimate. His crew started on the Friday before Labor Day and finished by September 10th. On the 12th Ned came out and personally finished up a few details. and I gave him the final payment.

They did a good job of matching the stain on the new trim to the existing trim and the new paint looks great.(It was a complicated 3-color job). The closet is much better in it's new location.

Marco is great (by the way, the last name is Cavallo, not Cavello). He shows up on time, is very neat, very quiet and unobtrusive, cleans up every day before he leaves, and generally does things just the way you ask him to even if doesn't agree with you! You can take or leave his opinions and he remains friendly and agreeable. The reason for the "B" in quality of work is that it isn't absolutely perfect. There can be a few splatters left over here and there, that sort of thing. I'm sure if I asked him to he would fix them, but in this case they were in the basement and I didn't really care.

We felt that his complete lack of response was a highly unprofessional manner to conduct business.
