    Doty Mechanical Inc
Having worked with Doty Mechanical as a customer in both corporate and residential settings, it is clear that they do things the right way and put their customers first no matter the size of the project. Most recently, Doty fully replaced the HVAC system at our home. The installers, Daren and Clinton, were exceptional - very friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of us and our home at all times. The first thing that they did when they arrived, after introducing themselves, was to lay down canvas tarps from the front door all the way to the furnace and put booties on their feet to protect our wood floors and carpet. They worked quietly and efficiently and kept their workspace neat. At the end of the installation they took the time to walk us through the entire system and answer any questions that we had. As someone who considers themselves OCD, I was beyond impressed by the end result of their work! Everything they installed was level/straight and clean - true craftsmanship! They really did a great job! Likewise, leading up to and after the installation, interactions with the office staff were equally as wonderful. The project was quoted with a very precise level of detail and Lori completely took care of us by handling all of the "heavy lifting" on paperwork for the rebates we qualified for. She simply asked us a few questions and took care of the rest for us! By far, this has been my best experience ever with any contractor - I would recommend Doty Mechanical to anyone needing HVAC services, whether in a corporate setting or at home, in a heartbeat!

NORTH WINDS HEATING & COOLING INC
North Winds, was great to work with, they were prompt to
provide a quote, the next day after emailing them.  They provided a somewhat complex quote
quickly and were able to respond quickly once I agreed to purchase a new
furnace and air conditioning system from them.
The person I with whom I worked with was Nate Potts.  Nate was very knowledgeable, and was great to
work with, he was flexible when we could meet for signatures and payments.
    Overall represented North Winds well.
It was clear the technicians were experienced and knowledgeable
as the installation was completed well with attention to details.
Overall I would recommend North Winds for your next Heating
    or Air conditioning needs.

    ALL WEATHER MECHANICAL
We purchased the air conditioner tune up "big deal" for $66 as system was not running efficiently.  Bill Kaiser contacted me early the next day to tell me he could come out next week.  I called him and explained that the A/C was no longer putting out cool air and asked if he could come sooner.  He walked me through some items to check which included cleaning the coils with a hose.  When that didn't work he came out later the same day and we discussed a possible bad compressor or system replacement costing up to $4,200 but it turned out only to be the capacitor.  It cost me $48 and he had one on the truck.  It was 90° today so we're pretty happy.
Bill told me he always tries to solve the problem over the phone before making a service call.  With 120 competitors in the area his philosophy is to keep his customers forever.  I think he has one here.

    A-OK MECHANICAL
The fellow who did the work, when he showed up, was great. Getting the work scheduled was agony. I apparently bought the coupon and tried to schedule the work during a week when every experienced employee was gone at the same time, AND as "lagniappe" (Google it) the phones weren't working well. So the nice but inept and ill-prepared temp who tried to answer my call finally hung in there on the third try (yep, first two calls were left hanging and dropped) scheduled my work, but wrote down the wrong address, I finally learned later. I asked every question I could think of, "where is your office?" "what is the first appointment of the day usually?" and the like, all designed to see if it could be possible to make sure the time I took from going in to the office would be sure to catch the fellow in the 8-10 am window. I made it clear I had to go in to the office by 10, and had to leave by 9:30 am, so could you be sure this is the first appointment of the day? The real kicker is that she made assurances that apparently couldn't be backed up, that the worker could be there by about 8:30 am, and I could ask about 5-6 questions I had and have him show me options before he began work. I double and triple-checked, "so no other appointments before mine, he can load the truck and get over here between 8:00-8:30 am?" "Yes," she said.
The fated day came, and I waited until after 9 am and called, feeling concerned. The first person I talked to seemed more interested in explaining away my concerns than actually listening to or addressing them. She kept saying that "window" meant anywhere in the two-hour time frame. I tried to explain that I knew that, and that's why I asked every question conceivable about what could hold him up, not knowing that I was talking to a temp. When I made it clear I'd share my frustrations on Angie's List, they took more decisive action (yeah, Angie's List!), and check on things, and, sure enough, he was out wandering the streets looking for an address that didn't exist (hello, call? GPS? double-check? call to confirm appointments like my office does?). Finally got a more useful response from another person who also identified herself as an owner, and was much more patient and interested in fixing things rather than blaming me, but couldn't seem to satisfy the person I talked to that I really wanted to have the worker talk to me and show me options. She tried very hard to understand my questions, but I wasn't sure how to explain them (that was the point of wanting to BE THERE when he got there.)
So I tried to explain options to my wife, left for work really unhappy, and found out later he arrived a few minutes after I left for work. He did great work, cleaned up thoroughly, was diligent and efficient, and got a lot done in the time he had. When I finally got to someone who would listen and try to make it right (as in accepted that they hadn't done their jobs as I had the right to expect), everything was much better.
Summary -- good work done, very capable electrician, not great office procedures or customer service initially. Nice company overall, I'd consider using them again. But I'm not sure I'd trust their office personnel or procedures, so it's a close call.

    ALL WEATHER MECHANICAL
After I purchased the services from Angie's list, Bill contacted me and set up an appointment. He called about 15 minutes prior to arrival and was slightly early for the appointment. He was courteous at all times. We started with the AC and I watched and chatted with him while he worked. He explained what he was doing every step of the way. He also gave me a couple of tips for keeping my AC in top shape. He then moved on to the furnace and it was much the same. Bill took care to make sure that everything was tidy along the way. At the end of the appointment he offered to answer any questions I may have. He didn't try to sell me anything. He simply provided the service I had paid for. I will look to him in the future for my AC/Heating needs.

    Doty Mechanical Inc
Josh was early for the appointment, greet me cordially and slipped on his shoe covers. He asked about any concerns with the system as he began the checkup. He explained what he was doing and why and gave advice on maintaining the system during the year. He covered the checklist he prepared with all the specifics of the checkup and wished me a good day upon his departure.

    AMS Heating & Cooling
He came referred by our realtor. Very professional, great price, was on time and explained the work that he did in great detail. We will continue to use Scott and AMS for our HVAC needs and recommend him to anyone looking for HVAC work.

Update - The water heater I provided to Scott was faulty out of the box. Scott can back free of charge to diagnose the issue then came back again to do the warranty work. Very timely and stopped out the day after Thanksgiving on very short notice.  Very highly recommended - we didn't have much luck finding an HVAC guy until now.

    All Star Mechanical
Larry is the person I dealt with. I was really pleased with him. I don’t remember what he charged me, but I thought it was fair. He got back with me right away. His customer service was excellent from the minute I called him to each time he needed to come out. He always returned the calls and came right out when he said he was going to come. I will definitely use him again in the future.
