    Michigan Gutter Protection, Inc.
    Received a similar quote from LeafFilter company directly which had a lifetime warranty, but decided to go with Michigan Gutter Protection to do the installation. I didn't realize I wasn't receiving the warranty through LeafFilter at the time. We now have a 30-40 foot section of the gutter that is sagging backwards towards the house which is making the rain go between the house and gutter. Even though we have a warranty with Michigan Gutter Protection, the company is not returning calls. Will work with LeafFilter company directly now to pay and get it fixed properly. May be a get what you pay for type scenario.

    I could not be more pleased with the company, workers, products and installation. My project had a major obstacle in order for the roofing to be completed. The workers met the challenge, even working until 9 PM the first day. From management to installers, they were polite, courteous, professional and encouraged questions. They were meticulous in their clean up; they would often be down on their knees looking into the bushes/shrubs for any overlooked piece of roofing or nails. They were prompt, thorough, attended to detail and all at a fair price. I would not hesitate to avail myself of their services for any future projects.

    First, Dan from Palmer Construction was great to deal with.  He was very patient with all of my questions as I'm a very detailed person and wanted things explained to me in detail.  He is also very knowledgeable and has his own hands on experience. Dan was also not "pushy", he followed up, but did not push us to make a decision "right now" which is something I personal despise and sends me running. Dan or someone else from the company would periodically check up on the installers to make sure everything was going well from their perspective as well as ours. 
    On final inspection once the job was completed, Dan paid attention to every detail on our walk through and was also very receiptive to any comments that I had down to every detail. I want to note that these were not items that were done incorrectly, but a few items that I wondered if esthetically they could do something about (small pieces around a couple of corners) and they did.
    I can't complete this review without mentioning the installers, Ben and Adam. THEY WERE OUTSTANDING.  These two do quality work, they were a joy to have around and maintained highly ethical  work standards. They arrived early and worked long and hard every day (many days when it was very hot).  I felt I could talk to them about anything related to the job and any questions/concerns we had they found a solution for. 
    After the job was completed I found two lights we had chosen were too heavy for the plates they had been installed on and were coming away from the wall.  I gave Dan a call and Ben was right back over to put screws (matched siding color and everything) in the mount to hold up the lights. So I have no doubt they will stand behind their work for years to come.
    I would without a doubt recommend Palmer to my friends and family.

    I think as he doesnt have an architect on staff, that he should invest in a design software package that would remind him to include light switches, clearance between cabinets and appliances etc. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. Mike and his crew were very nice, willing to try anything and accomodate the persons living in house during the build. They cleaned up the worksite and repaired the lawn at end of job.

    Overall it was a good experience, but I would not rate them Great.  I like the product and the sales representative John Waters was outstanding. John was very professional, answered questions honestly, and did not try to oversell his product or pressure you into buying.  The product is warrantied and they stand behind the product.  They backed it for a whole year and stated if I did not like it after a year (four seasons) I could schedule them to come back and take the product off my gutters with a full refund. That's pretty fantastic!1
    I had extra questions after the initial estimate, and John took the time to come out to my house again on his own initiative and take a second look at the job. This sold me on the product and the company and I signed the deal.  I had told John I wanted to have the installers call first to set up an appointment with me on the install. 
    This was my first problem with Sunrise Seamless.  I received a call from their office while I was sleeping stating that their schedule was being readjusted and that they would be coming out that day and wanted to give me a heads up.  They did not ask or bother to schedule anything. This was unprofessional and disappointing. 
    The installation crew that I was told would be coming out consisted of 1 person (no crew!!!) When the installer arrived he was polite and apologized for the confusion and asked if I wanted to have the office schedule like promised. I was now awake and had him start the job partially.  
    My next issue was that the salesman John put in the estimate to have all my corners chalked and sealed while installing the leaf terminator as some of the corners were leaking.  As the installer was doing his job I just so happened to ask him if he was sealing the corners. He gave me a long stare and stated he was not as it wasn't on the work order and they only did that if they were told there was a leak. WELL... I was told that I needed it done and it was sold to me as they always do this service as it is part of the estimate. Either way I shouldn't have had to keep tabs like I did.  The installer was honest and stated it was not my fault and went back and sealed the corner he had already went past.  
    The installer did a great job and was very professional with me.  The one complaint I had was that he squashed some of the flowers and ornaments in our flower bed along the house and was not careful when he was using his ladder in this area. 
    Lastly the company had to come back to install my new downspout because I needed a larger size to handle the water output. This downspout needed to be special ordered because of the color. That installer was also professional and did a fine job on the install. 
    When I received my final bill I received a partial refund due to the measurement guarantee they have. The estimate measured my gutters at a certain total footage and the actual install was seven feet difference. The company refunded me the cost of the seven feet as part of their Accu-Measure Guarantee. Very nice part of their service. Not many companies would do that. 
    It seems that the company does not communicate very well from the sales prospective to the service and install.  The installer should have know exactly what was expected and promised and that didn't seem to happen.  
    Overall I was happy with the final product and would recommend this company over any others in the area. Just keep on them and make sure they are doing things correctly and as promised.  
    It has rained hard here several times and I am happy with the product. No more going up on my roof to clean stuff out.  I have many pine tress around my house and the leaf terminator is working outstanding so far. 
    Great product, great sales, good install. Low rating on communication from inside the company. The right hand doesn't seem to tell the left hand what it is doing or is expected.

    The person they sent out to give the estimate took a lot of time and did a really good job. He sat down with us and showed us the materials. He made a nice presentation of how the product worked, what it was made of, and how it worked. They were good and the product was great. They came out on a Saturday and had to work around some bad weather. The owner also came out because they fell behind due to bad weather.
