    Statewide Insulation Co
Statewide Insulation did a great job insulating our home. We had them do our outside walls (through brick) and you can't it's impossible to find where they drilled through. They also insulated our attic and our whole house has been much more comfortable ever since. Throughout the whole process John was open, honest, and straightforward. The price was also very fair (we got quotes from two other places). Overall very happy with Statewide. We would definitely hire them again.

    Brand New Construction LLC
Thank you Brand New Construction. I live out of state and had a few rental homes in their area that needed to be brought up to code along with a few other improvements to the homes. This company was very easy to work and schedule with. They handled everything for me from start to finish. Charles was awesome.

Cody was great, from the start to the end. Their installers are also great guys all with the customer in mind. I appreciate their professionalism and hard work, made my window purchase and installation a great experience.

    Ace & Son's Insulation Inc
Sales representative show up at a convenient evening appointment. Without any pressure he presented the products and services, how installation would work, timing and pricing. The crew showed up on time on the appointed day. Everything they did was as it was explained. They took off aluminum siding to be able to blow insulation in and replaced it. You cannot tell which pieces they removed, no cracks, bends or scratches. They cut out cedar shake to blow in insulation on second floor and replaced them all and again you cannot tell which pieces they removed. The walls were completely without insulation and, as it is a 1920's home, the studs are real 2x4s, meaning the wall cavities are actually 4 inches versus narrower walls on newer homes. This resulted in a significant increase in the amount of cellulose needed yet we were not charged any additional costs. They worked non-stop for 5 hours to complete the job and when they left there was hardly a trace, the gardens, lawn and driveway were completely cleaned up. Their price was less than half the cost of foam insulation and better than other cellulose installers. They mailed me all the certificates for claiming rebates and tax credits for improving our energy efficiency. They also will come back this winter (when it's cold outside and warm inside) to do a free thermal imaging scan to ensure there are no cold spots, free of charge. It was worth doing research on product and installer options, Ace was a great choice.

    Blanket Insulation Services
Started with home energy audit that cost only $59. Sales / tech person was very professional. Performed an energy audit that took HOURS. it was not a rushed job, and he reviewed his assessment with me in detail. That alone was worth the cost. He pointed out spots where there were big heat losses in my home, and what could be done to resolve them. Never pressured me to get the services, but he did show me which things I could do and how much they'd cost, as well as the rebate I'd receive from my energy company. I selected to get my basement rim joist spray insulated, add insulation to the attic, add insulation caps to all the recessed lighting fixtures in the attic, add insulation do attic entryway, and spray and install more insulation around the bonus room above my garage. Each one was an option, and gave improvements to the overall comfort of the house. Work was done in 2 days (they needed to come back due to power issues for the insulation blower). Overall, I'm happy with the results. house is more comfortable and furnace is running less.

    EXISTING HOME INSULATION LLC
I thought our electric bill was high, as we are using in excess of 1200 kwh a day with two people. After two days with proper insulation, our usage has dropped to 20kwh a day. Can't wait for summer to see the real payoff with a/c!

When they put my siding back on after insulating they did a poor job and did not match it up correctly and there is no backing on it. I contacted them to come back out and they could not correct the problem. My siding is all bent and wavy as a result of the work.  There are paint chips in the siding along with gaps.  What good is the warranty, if they damage the rest of your house?

Update: 5/27/15: I called them recently to figure out who it was who came out to fix the problems I had with them.  I had a friend ask who did the work for me.  I told her I wasn't recommending him because of the problems I had, but that if she had to use them than to use the guy who came out to fix the problems I had.  They offered me $600 to settle my complaint, but I disagreed.  I gave them other options, but they were not willing to work with me.  They said they were worried about their insurance increasing if they turned it into their insurance company. They would not turn information into insurance company because they didn't want their insurance rates to go up. After damaging the aluminum siding five runs up all the way around the house.

    Right Way Home Services, Inc.
This is my second review.  I have been dealing with this company since January 2014.  They came push down on my ceiling from the attic  and give every kind of excuse , lie It is just UNBELIEVABLE  !!!!!!!!!!!!!  Called and wrote to Channel 7 in Detroit about them.  So far STILL getting the run a round!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have to start paying the bill next year.  ?  They tell me to do this and that and give me any excuse for the dented ceiling.  ????? I do not know how cold it is gonna be  but right now in Oct. 21 2014 It can be chilly in that room.    I hate paying for something that does not work, I hate paying for my ceiling getting fixed or do it myself because I have a bad back and broken foot and I hate being lied to over and over.   DO NOT GET THEM.

    Tallon Construction Inc
From start to finish, working with Tallon Construction was great! The salesman who came out gave all of the information we needed to make good decisions about what we wanted. The prices they quoted were less than the other quotes we received. Other than the delays getting the necessary permit (a city issue,) The work was completed quickly and they were good about cleaning up when finished. They were very careful with our flower gardens, so as not to cause any damage. It was really easy for the city inspector. He looked at everything and was very pleased.

    Ampro Insulation

After I made the app[ointment, the girl told me

she would call the day before to give me a better time. We waited all day and no one called, I started calling them and I got their answering machine. I also called the next day first thing in the morning and several times that day and all I got was the machine. I left a message and told them about the appointment and needed to someone to call me and let me know when they were coming. No one ever showed up or called back after sitting around all day waiting. They never called with any apology or anything. I know they had to get my messages, as I left at least 3 or 4. I figured they must not need the business and surely did not want mine. Too bad they advertise about good customer service, because this is terrible.
