    JOUNY CLEANING SERVICES LLC
Abe and his team did a great job! Very professional and on time! They even did my mattress topper for free just to be nice! Abe made sure he didn't miss a spot and they went over everything just to double check! Great service and really reasonable! I have used this company for years and so has most of my family. He even put my mom on schedule and went out of his way for us! Very good company and people! Must try! You will be happy!!

MIKE & LOUIS PIANO MOVING ENGINEERS INC
I needed to have a piano (full size upright) moved from my boyfriends house to mine (we're selling his) so I called Mike & Louis. The lady that answered the phone was friendly and professional. She gave me a quote and said they had availability the next day between 1 and 3 pm. The following day the gentlemen came about 1:45 pm. The move went very quickly and easily. The men that did the moving were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about pianos. I would definitely use them again.

    KRAFT & SONS UPHOLSTERERS
Asked if he could come out and fix my chairs. He took the chairs about over a year ago. He just kept saying the parts werent in yet. When he finally brought my chairs back I realized my chairs were moving when i sat on them. His excuse was "that's just how it is". As I kept using the chairs they got worse and worse. I called the guy back and he said he would come back and check them out. I talked to him in in August and he said he would let me know what the welder would do about my chairs. Most of the time he wouldnt answer my phone calls. I always had to leave messages or talk to another worker. I paid $580 for four chairs. After over a year of dealing with him he finally tells me that my chairs are irreparable. This is the first I've heard of it. He sent me a $200 check. I should at least get a full refund since he didn't repair my chairs. You don't treat customers this way.I would like to warn others about the way they handle things.

    OLD WORLD REFINISHING LTD
These chairs are probably over 100 years old and very delicate and ornate.  I know it was going to take several hours to re-glue these chairs as they are not traditional in construction and have many joints.   I am very please by the repairs, as I couldn't tell where it was done.   They are now very sturdy and look beautiful.

MIKE & LOUIS PIANO MOVING ENGINEERS INC
These guys move the piano on end through the house with four tight 90 deg turns and down the front step and lifted it into a van.  The two guys a extreemly strong yet they did not make contact with any of the doors openings that they went through (which were VERY tight  fits) and never knicked the piano.  I would trust them to move anything.

    LA-Z-BOY FURNITURE GALLERY
Went to the newly opened Novi store in search of a pair of leather recliners....store was a bit crowed but we had to seek out a sales person after not being approached for 15 minutes while we tested the various chairs for comfort.
We eventually settled on the chairs we wanted and were working with the sales rep to finalize the deal when all the other "surprises" started to happen.  We had to pay for them to bring the chairs to their store for pick up from the warehouse in Illinois.  They would take them out of the box and make sure they were working properly but wouldn't help us load them or put back in the boxes upon pick up.  We would have had to bring our own packaging materials too.  They were basically trying to force us to pay $100 extra per chair for home delivery....that soured us and we did not complete the purchase and walked out.  Not customer focused at all.  VERY disappointed in their sales approach....too bad because the chairs themselves were very nice.

MIKE & LOUIS PIANO MOVING ENGINEERS INC
Went great, far better than expected.  Called and were able to show up earlier than their scheduled window.  Worked quickly, efficiently, and with great care to the doors, walls and stairs to disassemble and haul out the remains of both pianos.  Done in one hours time for each.
I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone I know.

    L.H. Flaherty Co Inc
Flaherty & Company does interior design, custom window treatments and uphostery.  I called them to have an estimate of recovering a 7-foot couch consisting of three back cushions and three seat cushions.  In addition, I had a rocker/recliner that I wanted recovered in a brown leather and a second chair that matched the wood frame of the couch.  Flaherty & Co's estimate was more than fair and included the price of the fabric and all labor, including transporting the couch and chairs to their studio, refinishing them and returning them.  The work was excellent and completed in a timely manner - less than two weeks.  I am now considering them for new window treatments to my living room.

    MONTY'S CARTAGE
My husband called Monty's Cartage to have a piano moved. He left his work phone number and the number where the piano was to be moved. He never heard back from them. Very disappointing. This is the first time we have not had a positive experience with someone on Angie's List.

    Rose Moving & Storage
I spent $200. They were reasonable, they did a good job and I had them move the piano from my mother's garage to one of the rooms in my house.
