    Foundation Systems of Michigan
The installation crew was very professional and kept me updated with the progress of the completed work. Completed work included: Installation, City inspection and approval, Electrician for the dedicated line for the sump pump and finished with concrete. I was responsible for having the plumber come in to disconnect and reinstall hot water tank and laundry tub. Quite a big job that went very smoothly.

    Guardian Waterproofing Inc
Horrible. We had basement work done 9/22/2017 by Guardian Basement Waterproofing. The first rain we had a few weeks later, we had leaking in the room repaired by Guardian. We contacted Guardian om 10/2/2017 and were told Bill, site supervisor, would call us back. He didn't. My husband called Guardian's office and Bill's cellphone for almost 3 weeks leaving messages. Bill finally called us Nov. 6. Said he'd come out next day. Didn't show and didn't call (mind you, we paid the entire bill in Oct). My husband had rescheduled meetings at work to be home. Bill finally came out 2 days later, after my husband had left several messages. He basically just slapped some cement down on our porch to prevent leaking into basement rooms and left 30 minutes later. By the Spring, the cement he quickly applied was cracking and coming out. Unacceptable. We received a small compensatory check for my husband missing work those 2 days and a signed letter dated November 13, 2017 from Al, the owner, stating that they would come out and apply deck painting on our porch. Al stated he would do this in the Spring of 2018 when weather permitted. Starting in June 2018, we called Al and/or his office 12 times over a 3 month period asking when he'd honor his signed letter. We called on October 2 and November 17, 2017; in 2018, we called on May 9, 15, 16, 24; June 4, 8, 14, 22; August 7, 10, 14, and 28. No calls back, even though we were told each time Al would call us. Finally, I spoke with Ken at their office the end of August 2018 and they said they were "done" with us. Ken also said they would not honor the signed letter by Al Wyman, the owner. My husband is still patching leaking in the basement rooms they did. So needless-to-say, I would NOT recommend this company. They quickly take your money, but will not respond or honor their word when a problem arises.

    Icon Restoration & Construction LLC
We had major fire damage and unfortunately not great insurance coverage. Icon helped us to work with what we had in order to defray heavy out-of-pocket costs. They were professional, courteous, and respectful the whole way through. Their level of expertise and knowledge on repairs, restorations, and all the products and materials, and their quality levels, are unsurpassed. I'm not one that usually fully relies on others judgments even professionals that I hire, but this is a company whose expertise and skills were highly valued. They involved me in all the decision-making and informed and educated me of all my family's choices and options. Because of the magnitude of the damage and repair and restoration required, there were times I felt in over my head, and it was that these times, I felt completely comfortable deferring to their best judgment and expertise. I fully trusted them and never felt like they were not acting in me and my family's best interest. We were assigned a project manager that was specifically dedicated to our home and he is truly what made our experience so great. For all the reasons aforementioned. Additionally, he took great charge and I was always available when needed. A true professional. With the level of damage from the fire, it took quite a while to complete the work, so we came to know Icon very well. Through the entire length of time, they only continued to prove more and more trustworthy, reliable and performed well all the way through. We very highly recommend. A+ all the way through.

    Foundation Systems of Michigan
Exceptional service. Workers were on-time, communicated at every step, cleaned up as much as possible, were organized, thorough, and efficient. It has rained (hard) several times since the drainage system was put in and there hasn't been one leak. FSM also worked with the permits, city inspectors, and subcontractors to insure everything was taken care of.

They were very professional and did an amazing job. They were very accommodating in that they were also redoing my street and it did not stop them from making the appointment. They cleaned up very well and left the job very neat and orderly.300

Creating connections to drain was well thought out and executed exactly including a clean out access (great foresight!).  Collectibles were well covered and protected from concrete dust and construction debris.  End of work day clean-up was appreciated.  Daily progress was impressive.  Worked well with me when changes were added or needed, explaining and answering all questions.  Very pleased with the results.  Neighborhood basements flooded one year later from storm overflow.  He responded very quickly and thoroughly, completed clean up before any other neighbors were even able to get help to come out to assess issues.  Quality of remodel was more than I had envisioned.   I am happy to recommend him to others!

    Gecko Co
The work was well done.  The ceiling joists and duct work were difficult to paint, due to the numerous corners and obstructions.  There were a few spots where the paint ran, but overall a good job.  The pricing was fair and reasonable.  The work was done on schedule and in the estimated time.  Overall I was quite happy with the results.

    Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
I'd had an estimate a few weeks ago and they said they would send the same technician out because he was familiar with the job - and it actually happened! Work was done professionally and quickly. Thanks very much.

    Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
He come becase my main sewer was blocked and the water was coming back to the house. He spends around 1.5 hr and at the end he could not unblocked. He recommend digging the yard beause one section of my sewer apparently was collapsed or at the minimum broken and back pitching. After my resistance to dig, he said maybe with a expandable tip on the sneak he could unblock more the sewer but just for a temporally relief. For that he will need 2 to 3 hrs and other person. Cost 400 to 500 dlls. I call other company, they came did the same job in 20 min for 120 dlls and no more issues with my sewer.

    JDA Contracting LLC
John is a professional contractor with a quality mindset.  A detailed quote was provided with overview of the scope of work, details of use of subcontractors, and itemized list of every task to be completed.  The older house presented many challenges that were agreed as unknowns, and changes agreed were always followed with a written update to the initial quote for final approval.  The payment schedule made it very clear when it was time to give a payment based on seeing the completed tasks.
Tearing out openings in walls to replace plumbing made huge messes, which were controlled with extensive plastic sheeting, and followed by daily cleanup to keep the house livable.  Each subcontractor was very aware of John's expectations for cleaning up at the end of the day.  The schedule did not proceed as quickly as assumed, although any days impacted were clearly communicated.  John typically gave a start time and tasks for each day to ensure we were never having surprises, and anyone wanting to work late would confirm it was ok with us.
The new workshop and bathroom look fantastic.
