    The installation crew was very professional and kept me updated with the progress of the completed work. Completed work included: Installation, City inspection and approval, Electrician for the dedicated line for the sump pump and finished with concrete. I was responsible for having the plumber come in to disconnect and reinstall hot water tank and laundry tub. Quite a big job that went very smoothly.

    Exceptional service. Workers were on-time, communicated at every step, cleaned up as much as possible, were organized, thorough, and efficient. It has rained (hard) several times since the drainage system was put in and there hasn't been one leak. FSM also worked with the permits, city inspectors, and subcontractors to insure everything was taken care of.

    Active Basement Waterproofing
    The provider was timely in communications and punctual in arriving at my house.
    The overall examination would have been ok if it was free; my main problem with the service is that I had purchased this examination as an "Angie's List Big Deal" for $49.  The title of what I was purchasing was "Foundation and Basement Inspection with Preventive Water Leakage Plan", with a supposed value of $775. The inspection was not comprehensive, in my opinion (again, as I had paid for this service).  The "plan" that I received was a couple hand-written sentences, giving a couple options for drainage work with the company's prices.
    What I received is likely no different than if I had called the company to request an estimate, for free.  In fact, I had another company come out a few weeks later; this second company provided (at no cost) much more detail as to how basement drainage works and how my city's building codes dictated the options.  The resulting work proposal was also more detailed, with a dimensioned drawing of my basement and how the drain pipes would be run.

    My parents first used the B-Dry system in the home in 1987 for the front and back walls of the basement. Since there was no problems at all with those walls leaking since then, I called them to stop the leaks in a side basement wall. They still had the account and changed the guarantee to me as the current owner.  A representative came out in a 12 inch snowstorm (wasn't even late) and gave me an estimate for the side wall and an estimate to finish the basement completely, since the house was built in 1941 I opted to completely finish the basement. The workers came on time and finished the job in the two days they estimated it would take. They even upgraded the 1987 part at no additional cost.

    I had a contract dated August, 2013 to have my crawl space encapsulated on October 22-23rd, 2013.  The day the company came out to do the work they said it would cost $4,000 more to remove the dirt from under my house when the contract read that dirt removal was part of the contract.  They dropped the fee to $2,000 when I argued that I shouldn't have to pay more for something in the contract, they said they would stop work if I didn't pay, so I did.  The workmen were using my electricity for the work and blew the circuit.  Rather than call me and have me come and let them in, THEY BROKE INTO MY HOUSE so they could get the power on again.  One of the workmen told me this in the evening when I came home from work.
    During the course of the work, the workmen broke off the top of my sewer line and covered it with dirt.  Within two days of the work, the plumbing was completely back up in my house, they said they'd come and fix it, they didn't, so I had to call a plumber and pay close to $2,000 to have the damage that NSF caused, fixed!  
    When the plumber got involved he asked he if I'd had FSM pull permits, I told him that I requested this be done.  He told me if permits had been pulled they would be taped to the front of my house.  Pretty soon the city of Dearborn got involved because FSM had applied for but hadn't actually had permits when they did the work.  This was good for me because the head inspector called FSM and read them the riot act so I was able to get plumber work covered.  Since then and still continuing today, the work remains unfinished, the crawl space takes in water and they put in an alarm so when the water gets high I had to go down into my crawl space to turn off the alarm, my backyard is a mess of mud and water and when I make appointments with workmen to come out and finish fixing the problems they don't come!  I even sent an email to Rebecca Oubeck, Operations Manager with my continuing saga hoping that someone higher up might care that they have a very unsatisfied customer who keeps getting the run around and guess what she threw me right back to the person I've been dealing with for 5 months with litle satisfaction!  To me this shows that customer service means very little even high up the  food chain.  Shouldn't you go out of your way to make that person happy, instead they make you feel like you are always at the bottom of their to-do list.
    I had held off writing a review to allow them to fix the problems and judge them based on the completed project but I'm beginning to believe that this is never going to happen and I want people to know about my experience!  My best advice is go with someone else!

    BDRY overall did a good job.  The job took slightly longer than I expected but I don't blame the workers for that.  It is a time consuming process to lay concrete.  The booking agent on the phone should've factored that in.  They really did an excellent job on the concrete.  As far as the actual system, time will tell.  It hasn't rained a whole lot since then but my basement has been DRY!  
    The only thing I was displeased with is that when they put back the washer/dryer and sink, the plumbing was leaky.  I called them back asking them to fix that, and they were very responsive to my request.

    Pretty bad so far.  First had inspector on August first, work to be done on August 30th on a Saturday which I thought was strange then also that date fell on a holiday weekend and gave him $400.00 deposit, the week that they were to come out they changed the date to the next Saturday, Sept. 7th, so I had to cancel my plans to go away on a trip, they were to come out at 3 pm which I thought was kind of late in the day, then called on the 7th at about 9:50 am, said they were in the area and if it would be alright if they came in about 10 minutes, I said ok, they showed up at my home at 10:15, the leader of the crew went down stairs in my basement and told me they were gonna have  to remove a cabinet maybe break it down, jackhammer my basement floor and there wood be some cinsiderable amount of dust.  We did discuss that the paneling on the other side would have to come down which I knew would have to be done.......I DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE GOING TO BUST UP MY BASEMENT FLOOR  that was never discussed as I was not sure where the water was coming from anyway.  In shock told man to wait a few minutes, talked to my neighbor, came back said go ahead and do it and the leader of the crew said NO WE ARE NOT GOING TO DO IT.  Now I was NEVER Told that they were gonna breakup my basement floor, I had waited over a month to have it done, then they changed the date then they changed the time.  UPSET  !!!!!!!!  Disgusted.  I have been waiting for them to do this so I could fix up my basement   have it painted and lay carpet.  In fact a painter is to call tomorrow about painting it next weekend.  I do not know what to do.   I just cannot believe it.    The guys that did come out did not seem to professional either.  The guy just said just call the number that is on the truck.  Flabbergasted !!!!!!!Unbelievable.

    4 years ago they installed a full perimeter waterproofing system in my basement. I started to get a little sewer smell in the basement after the work was finished so i called and asked if it was anything that they could have done to make it smell like that down there. i was assured that it had nothing to do with them and everything was done correctly, mind you they didnt send someone out to look at it, i was told this over the phone.
    Fast forward to this year and i was having more work done on my drains in my basement by a MASTER plumber. He had both my sanitary and my storm drains exposed and he told me they had tied into the sanitary system and not the Storm system, which is what they should have tied into. so thats why i had an intense sewer odor in my basement for 4 years. So i called them and explained the situation, they told me that it was right on the paper work and blah blah blah. so finally they sent someone out to look at it.  he comes in and looks at it and he too realized  that they didnt hook it up right. i had him take pictures and told him to have his boss call me. so they called me back and basically tried to point fingers at everyone else in the company on who's fault it was. He also admitted that it has not been up to code for that last 4 years. Then he proceeds to tell us that they are gonna have to dig up more of my floor to fix it correctly and that they wouldnt be covering any of the costs to fix said floor. I had to threaten with litigation for them to finally agree to fix it correctly and pay for the flooring to be replaced. Now The Master plumber i had doing my work set it up to the point where all they had to do was run there pipe to a spot that he already setup for them to tie into. So he basically did half the job for them. So they come in hook up the pipe and re cement my floor, but they failed to clean up ANYTHING. Mud all over my basement floor and walls along with cement on my walls. Also mud all in my breezeway and on my door leading to the outside. My wife sent them an email and they failed to respond at all. Needless to say we will never be using them or recommending them for anything ever again. Come to find out the people they have running your DRAIN systems arent licensed plumbers and apparently dont know how to tell a SEWER drain from a STORM drain. So i caution everyone that has a system with them, you might wanna make sure that yours is hooked up properly.

    It was a long process, but we're very pleased with their service.
    There were some unanticipated expenses. We had it done in April, and the wall collapsed while they were digging. It ended up costing an addittional $200. It would have been better to wait until after the rainy season.
    We haven't had any leaking since then.
