    Auto-Lab of Fenton
Auto-Lab of Fenton fixed our vehicle and we are so happy with their service. We use them for all of our auto repairs. We recommend them to everyone and we will never use another repair shop! Auto-Lab is trustworthy, knowledgeable, uses reliable businesses to purchase parts, timely, has treated our whole family with respect, and the price is more than fair. The great experience begins with a pleasant phone call or the drop off at the front desk with Barb. She thoroughly explains the maintenance required in a friendly and respectful manner. When I pick up my vehicle, I feel as though I am visiting with a friend or family member. Most importantly, I am confident the job was done right! My husband and I are grateful and appreciative of their phenomenal service. Dawn and Jeff Y.

Service was excellent, They first tried to do a software update which cost very little money. Unfortunately we ended up needing a more extensive repair but they were extremely honest and helpful and I knew my car would be fixed correctly and as efficiently as possible. I would give this dealer the highest rating possible.

I had to bring it back and then it was a fight to get it back and then they replace something else without authorization and then try to charge me and then the owner yelled at me on the phone so I’m kind of angry about that and I’m gonna keep on writing reviews.

There is a sign on their wall that says "Good work ain't cheap, and cheap work ain't good". I seem to have remembered taking my vehicle here a while back and seem to have recalled that they were fair and trustworthy. Memory is a little fuzzy it had been so long. Recently I had done some work on my Jeep and I called him about an issue I was having. He gave me some good advice. So when I wanted a professional, someone with experience, to check up on my novice work I called him. I had them do a handful of things to my Jeep. Mostly install suspension and steering components. One of the things was to install a track bar. Pretty strait forward I thought. I got the car back and poked around underneath. It didn't take long to see that the track bar was put on backwards. Now, I don't amount to much more than a monkey with a wrench but even I can tell how to properly mount a track bar. There's a dang bend in the bar where it is supposed to clear the front differential. So, someone was either drunk, high, blind, stupid or simply not paying attention when they put my car together. None of the aforementioned scenarios is excusable in this industry where safety is such a concern. Now I have to wonder what else was put on backwards. A "professional" mechanic would never have allowed this to happen. And now I have to pay someone else, another "professional", to check the work of the "professional" I hired to check up on MY work. I am beyond frustrated. I guess I paid for the "cheap work that ain't good" this time around. I'd like my money back.

I meant to write a review earlier, as the service was performed in September, but it's never too late to give credit where due. I knew Joe Timlick had a good reputation as an excellent mechanic and an honest businessman, so I drove over an hour to his shop to have my Ford Escape inspected. A tire shop said I needed $1600 in front end suspension work. Joe's crew gave my car a thorough look and said I needed NOTHING done! They suggested I bring it back at 100,000 miles for a tune up. I will gladly drive the distance now that I've found a shop that is not out to over charge me, or charge for work I don't need done on my vehicle.

Myers Automotive is hands down the best car repair shop in the Howell area. They are honest and have lower prices compared to other shops in the area. For example, they charged $260 to repair my rear brakes for the same job that Mazur's Total Automotive estimated over $1000 to fix (what a joke!). I made the mistake of trying Mazur's after receiving a 10% off coupon in the mail. Beware of Mazur's and stick to the best in the area: Myers Automotive!!

Invariably, the work at Mazur is done right, on time, and at the cost promised. In this case, the car occasionally stuttered and vibrated when braking. After driving it several times, Dave replicated the problem and said that  he thought it was the front brakes, because the vibration could be felt through the steering wheel. He suggested turning the rotor and (optionally) putting on new pads, since the old ones still had some life on them. I went for the pads, so we wouldn't have to deal with the brakes again for a while; we made an appointment for the next day. Job was done in about four hours, as promised. He picked me up at my house to return to the shop. This was several weeks ago, and the brakes have been perfect since. If this sounds like your "dream" kind of car mechanic, these guys come close. They're fairly priced -- not the cheapest you can find, but reasonable for the quality of the service. We've already recommended them to a couple of friends.

    Mazur Automotive Inc
Excellently. They listened to what we wanted. They communicated throughout the process. Although they could have "inflated" any slight problems, they were very straight-forward and honest.  The waiting room was very pleasant. Although they offered a shuttle car, I'm glad I didn't take it. In less than an hour, what was needed was done. Also this was done with an appointment and there was no delay upon arrival. We're sure we have found our Michigan auto mechanic service .

Professional job, started at appointment time and concluded expeditiously, and cost under estimate. Will probably return for future work.
