I don't have any complaints with PACE Services. If you do have an issue they ask you to write up a grievance and they try to take care of it quickly. They are very friendly and they are always happy to see you. I've been with them for four years and everything has been great so far.

They were fine.  They were reliable.  I did interview a couple places, and I felt like they were more professional.  It was more organized and accomodating.

    Great Lakes Caring
I had a physical therapist, an aid for bathing and a nurse who would come check on me. The aid I was using usually does hospice. The nurses and staff was always friendly. I liked that they actually showed up and actually cared. They even called when we were about to be hit with a blizzard and made sure all of their patients were ok and have enough food, water, blankets and flashlights. They worked well with my insurance too.

    Care Linc
The person who waited on us showed us various options and let us check how well they would fit in our car. If we have to purchase further medical equipment, we will check with this store.

    Care Linc
My dad had been using a rather small two-wheeled walker and decided he wanted a fancier one with four wheels and a seat that opened up to carry things. We took him to CareLinc where they had several different options. The salesman treated him as an equal and with respect, not talking to him like a child as some do with the elderly. He also didn't push him towards the most expensive model, but helped him pick out one that would best fit his needs. He explained that Medicare would probably not pay for the walker since his last walker had been purchased too recently. We appreciated knowing that before the bill came. The walker in the color he chose had to be ordered, but arrived in a reasonable amount of time. They were very prompt when he called for service and brought him a new one even when there probably wasn't anything wrong with the original. Overall, they are very pleasant to deal with and we will shop there again.

    Residential Home Health
I was very satisfied. I think that the quality of the therapy was good. The therapist knew what they were doing. There were a few time that they were a little late.

    Homewatch CareGivers of Grand Rapids
The RN, was supposed to come to our home to sign papers.  I called to confirm that she was still coming, as I hadn't heard anything from her.  After calling the office, after normal business hours, a staff member said that the RN couldn't make it.  The RN came with the caregiver on Saturday, and we signed papers for about an hour.  The caregiver went to give my mom a shower (I was watching), and she did not use the gloves that she brought.  When my mom asked her why she didn't use them, she said that she forgot.  That is a big sanitation issue.  The caregiver didn't clean up afterwards, and left all the towels on the carpeting.  The next day, she took my mom to get her hair done, and the caregiver's car was a filthy mess on the inside, with a stench.  We were forced to have the caregiver on Sunday, even though we never agreed to this.  The RN called later that afternoon, and asked how everything was.  When I mentioned the sanitation issues, she said she was sorry about that.  I said that the caregiver looked like she hadn't taken a shower in awhile.  After the caregiver left for the final time, my mom and I happened to see a schedule that had been made out, without our knowledge or approval.  I said that I wanted to meet the caregiver on Saturday, but we would not need a caregiver on Saturday at any other time.  The RN took it upon herself to schedule a caregiver on Saturday's and Tuesday's, even though my mom has a commitment every Tuesday.  When I mentioned this to the RN, her tone of voice became mean.  She is the one who made the schedule without our consent, and got angry when we said that is not what we wanted.  The next day, my brother called the Owner, and said that due to the RN's attitude, we wanted the contract suspended immediately, and to send us a final bill.  The Owner was unpleasant to my brother, claiming that we were the ones who made a bunch of changes, which is an outright lie.  They didn't do what we wanted, and they are blaming us.  I would never do business with this company ever again!
