Pressure Washing reviews in Commerce Township

  • Excellent work, excellent crew, excellent service. The deck turned out beautifully and looks brand new again. Omar and his team definitely exceeded my expectations! I've attached pictures from before the deck was treated, just after the power wash & cleanse, and after staining & sealing. What you can see is my herb garden planter. Omar & his crew went the extra mile by staining this also. Everything looks great! We will definitely be calling him for our next deck job! I recommend Diesel Decks to everyone! Thanks for all your hard work!

  • Martin and his team were excellent. The unpredictability of the weather made scheduling difficult, but he contacted me various times to keep me informed. He wanted to make sure that quality wasn't compromised just to finish the job and move on. We also had a hot tub that we were unable to move on our own. Although he had no obligation to have his team move it, he offered his services without charging anything additional... even when they needed to come move it back two days later once the sealing was dry. We are extremely satisfied... thank you Martin and team!

  • I have used Pearl Powerwashing ever since I bought my home in 2004. They come every 3 years to redo my deck. I could probably go longer because the deck still looks good from their work the past three years but I have them redo it just in case. They are like ninjas. They come in and power wash the deck without making a ruckus. I have referred them to many friends and families. You won't be disappointed with their service!! They even replaced some bad boards for me.

  • Her crew (man and woman) showed up for 2 hours and never came back. We were told they were on their way the next day but had to stop at Home Depot to get some stripping chemicals and they never showed up. Jessica wrote us a note through email saying she could not perform the services for 399 and we should get some other quotes. Our yard and landscaping has debris all over from the people power washing the day before. I spoke to another employee today trying to get them to make things right and she yelled and hung up on me. Realizing she made a mistake, she used the analogy that even heart surgeons make mistakes. Really? Here is what my husband posted to their Facebook page ....I normally would not do something like this but I feel like I have no choice to do so. On April 9 or 10th, my wife and I received a flyer on our mailbox flag from a company called Lakes Home Improvements/Lakes Professional Painting. Being that we needed some work done on our deck, I gave them a call and asked them to come out and provide a free estimate. April 11th - Jessica came out, looked at our deck, and provided us an estimate of $399 to power wash, tighten any loose screws, sand as needed, and re-stain. April 12th - called Jessica and stated that my wife and I would like them to do the work for us. April 13th - Jessica sent a text and asked if I had any questions regarding her estimate/quote. I told her no and that I had called the night before and left a message. She said "great" and that we were on their schedule for 4/17 & 4/18. I asked if we could wait a week as I needed to replace some of the boards on the railing. She said no problem and rescheduled us to 4/25 & 4/26. Later that day I asked if she could move us to 4/24 & 4/25 as rain was scheduled for 4/26. She said that was not a problem. 4/14 - my wife and I spent $170 on the stain that Jessica told us that we would need. 4/24 - received a text from Jessica that the crew was at my house but that they had no water to power wash. I rushed home, turned the water on, and sent her a quick text. She stated that they would be there within the hour. They showed up at the house and worked from 1 p.m. To 3:30 p.m. and left. I received a text stating that they had to leave for another appointment but they would be back today, 4/25, at 9:30 a.m. Today, 4/25 - received a text from Jessica that the crew was stopping at Home Depot to pick up some stripping chemicals to remove the Deckover product that had been previously applied. She sent me a text telling me to read up on the product so I knew what to expect. I read that several applications of the chemicals might be necessary along with some more power washing, scraping, and sanding. I waited until somewhere between 10:30 and 11 a.m. and reached out to Jessica again. She stated that she sent me an email regarding the Deckover removal product. I read the email and was surprised to see her telling me that i needed to look for some more quotes to have someone finish the job that they started because it was a much more difficult job than what they expected and they didn't want to work on removing the old Deckover product.Seriously? You guys do deck restorations as part of your business and it is your job to provide an accurate estimate for the work that needs to be completed. I tried calling and now I am not getting any responses from her. The first 3 pictures below are of our deck and what it looked like before they started. The next picture is of their flyer , and the others pictures are of our deck and how it looks now, along with our yard and landscaping that is full of the Deckover that they were able to remove in the 2 1/2 hours that they worked yesterday. I am open to suggestions as to what you think I should do next. I have my thoughts but I was hoping to hear from Lakes Professional Painting/Lakes Home Improvements to get their thoughts first.

  • Extremely satisfied. My yard and house are in the shade. My cement was turning black from mold and no sunlight. When they were finished my cement looked white and clean again. The wood deck was free of years of dirt! And they didn't take the stain off!

  • It was quite a pleasant experience. Our estimator Pat was a hoot and all of the painters were so nice. Everything looks fantastic and we got a nice hand written thank you note from the owner, Jessica.

  • I used Deck-Techs 3 years ago to stain my deck. They were slow to respond I call them in early spring but it was around august 1 before they got around to doing the job. They just showed up late one day and It was dark when they finished but they did do a nice job. Fast forward to this year and I call them in late May this time and it was mid June before I got my estimate. I told them it would have to be completed by 7/15 and it would have been done but there were a few weather delays. Again a good job was done but it looks like another coat of sealer could/ should/needs to be applied to the more sun exposed areas. When the power washing was done they wanted half the money which is OK but they wanted the check written to Deck Revive. They would not accept a credit card as it states in angieslist. I assume that Deck-Techs sub-contracted the job to Deck Revive but I am not sure if Deck-Techs just changed their name or whatever. It was just a little disconcerting and I could not find any reviews of Deck Revive on the net.

  • Long story short. Communication was a big issue with this company. Showed up 3 days early without informing us. Didn't get the pictures I sent through Angie's website before the scheduled date. And never followed up to get the pictures using other method. Miscommunication between the young crew and office is also a problem in terms of understanding which area needed to be cleaned. Didn't take responsibility with the communication issue. Instead, blamed on Angie's website with the issue. Broke outdoor faucet fitting. We had to have plumber out to fix the issue.

  • All went fine. Jessica was very responsive to questions and answered them promptly and efficiently. All work was done on time, and the quality of the work was good. We plan to use them again for some interior paint work.

  • Painters were prompt. I was told that I did not have to take any pictures down. They covered the furniture.  Sanding residue noted behind all of the picures and noticed slightly on the wood floors.  I would recommend taking everything off of the walls!
Because of all the rain we had in May it took a few weeks for the deck to be completely finished. Wood poles holding up the foundation fo the deck were not painted. Our deck stands approx 5 1/2 feet off of the ground level. Called a couple times about this issue.  Approximately a week and a half later the
rest of the deck was painted.  The deck does look nice!
