  • Run as fast as you can - away from this practice! Dr. Kevin Thompson & Dr. Mark Kaminski are MDVIP (Physician concierge service). For an extra $1,500 per year, the patient gets ripped off. Here are some of my problems with this office: * Physicians do not return phone calls * Lack of physician coverage (both providers will be out of the office at the same time) * They love to run the identical tests (one in the Emergency Room / One in their private practice) within months - for no justified reason. * Billing department cannot submit a claim correctly. Four visits have been made to this office. All four claims are wrong and have yet to get correct. PIM billing department passes the buck. The physician(s) continue to communicate the wellness visit is "free" - once, my insurance pays a portion of the wellness visit. The remainder is paid by the physician. The physician could not tell me - the lab bills need to be submitted to their office for payment for the wellness visit. It is against the law and a part of Obama Care - that the physician could not tell me the bills would be written off.

  • When I went back for a recheck after what I thought was a Dand C, I found out he actually did a myomectomy (removal of fibroid tumors). Although I think he did a fine job on the surgery, I did not appreciate him doing a procedure on me we had not even discussed. I didn't even know what a myomectomy was. The Dand C was only supposed to take about 20 minutes and I was in surgery for 1-1/2 hours and my husband became very concerned. I will say he is the only doctor I have had who gave me his cell phone # and said to call him anytime, which I did several times. I believe he is skilled but needs to communicate with his patients better.

  • I went there for several years. The Doctors are nice but the wait is crazy with or without an appointment. The big thing for me is conflicting treatments one Dr would tell you one thing the next time you went you saw another Dr and he told you to do something else.

  • I like him, his personality mostly. I haven't had any major issues, I just go to get my regular physical yearly. I've used them for years so I like it there. He moved from West Bloomfield to a new office and some of the staff is a little bit...

  • I am pleased with the services Dr. Yerman provides. He is professional and very knowledgeable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I plan to continue to see Dr. Yerman, and can recommend his services.

  • I liked the facility and the doctor was very informative.  He told us exactly what was going on and what he thought and I was really with that.  My father has Alzheimer’s and it is really difficult to deal with him and the staff was really kind and I was pretty happy. I haven’t had any billing and administration as yet.  My parents moved in from Florida and my mom couldn’t remember the address but knew the name of the doctor. They helped her and looked it up while we were there and they were very helpful with my parents who are older and need a little extra help.

  • Dr. Clubb was my OB/GYN for my second child.  In her office, she is great -- very warm, friendly, and patient.  I was shocked, however, when I went into labor and her demeanor completely changed.I went into the office for an exam on the morning 11/9/2005.  At that time, one of the other doctors at the practice noted that I was dialated to 5cm and I should be ready to go to the hospital at any time.  There was no discussion of admitting me, nor did I ask, since I live seven minutes from the hospital anyway, and was content to wait and see if labor started on its own.Around midnight I went into labor.  We paged the doctor on call, who happened to be Dr. Clubb.

    • The hospital lost my original registration paperwork.  Rather than go look it up again, they forced me to fill out several pages of paperwork at the HEIGHT of labor.  I couldn't even sign my name; it was a scrawl across the paper.
    • When Dr. Clubb found out that I had been in the office that morning and dialated to a 5, she said, "You were dialated to a FIVE and they didn't admit you?"  She was clearly angry about this and made a follow up comment along the lines that this was the fifth time in the last month that she got called in to deliver a baby because of this.  Seriously?  A) I'm not a doctor; I have no idea why your partner didn't admit me.  That isn't really on my mind when I am pushing a human being out of me. B)  It was an utter lack of professionalism to vent that in front of the patient; and C)  She chose this profession. HINT:  If you don't want to get called into work at 1:00 a.m., don't become an OB/GYN!
    • She didn't bother to communicate with me AT ALL.  She summarily broke my water without telling me she was going to do so.  When I gasped, she was all exasperated about it and told me that it was just my water breaking.  During labor she was in and out, just staring at the monitor.  No communication with me or my husband.
    • She told us that she had paged the anesthesiologist.  He never showed up.  By that time I was begging for Demerol, which I had used during labor for my first child.  The doctor refused, saying that she didn't want me to be "too loopy" to cooperate with the anesthesiologist when he arrived.  I told her at that point that I no longer wanted an epidural; I only wanted the Demerol, which worked great for me with my first child.  She refused.  My husband had to get forceful with them because the doctor was being so uncaring and unresponsive to my needs and wishes.  By the time the nurse finally went to go fetch the Demerol, the baby was crowning.  I ended up having him 100% natural -- which is great, of course, but not by choice.  :)
    • Afterward, when Dr. Clubb was stitching me up after the epesiotomy, she was rude, terse, and acted like I was a complete inconvenience.  Mind you, from start to finish we were there for a total of 43 minutes, so it's not even like this dragged out for hours.  She was able to get back to her warm bed.

All in all, it was not the beautiful experience that it should have been.  My husband and I both felt like we were an inconvenience to the doctor.  I went back for my six-week post-partum and never went back again.  In fact, the whole experience was so scarring that I have never been back to ANY OB/GYN, even for an annual physical.  That was SIX YEARS AGO, and I still remember how awful she was.

  • Overall, the experience has been good. I've been a patient of his for more than ten years. He's a very good doctor; easy to contact, easy to talk with, and is knowledgeable. I'm happy with his services.
