    Horrible customer service.  Lied about promotion, didn't keep to their word.  Consistently disconnects calls & don't call back, etc.  You name it, they've done it.  Terrible terrible customer service.

    The job was very challenging due to the weather, winter set in just as they finished taking off the old roof, which made for a very tough week for the crew. I cannot say enough good things about Steve's crew. Tom Dykstra was in charge of the job, he is very professional and always kept me informed of the progress. His crew were the most couteous, hard working, always on time group of employees that I could have asked to work on my home. Needless to say, I was very impressed with everyone involved with the job. We also decieded to take Steve's suggestion to solve a chimney problem, so we will have his crew back this spring to stucco our chimney. I would also like to mention how nice of a clean up job his crew did after each day of
    work, you can expect a clean yard after they leave.

    The roofers were on time everyday, clean up was awesome, great materials a 30 year warranty shingle was used, and the price was really good. All my questions were answered, the communication was fast.. Best roofers I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I will never use anyone else. I wasn't always the easiest to please but they did it.

    They work professionally.  They are straight up.  They listen and interact with you.  Their funeral is brand new.  They got a Golden Retriever who participates in the funeral.  When they setup a funeral, they ask the people if they like dogs.  They would let the dog come in and sit next to them.  He is just part of the funeral if you want him to be.

    the lead person was very professional and did an excellent presentation.  Everything was spelled out and in writing.  That person was followed up with a measurement person  who laid out and measured everything and put it in writing.  This is where you need to have everything spelled out.  Next came the cabinet doors etc. and the installer, refinishers.  Everything is in writing and you are instucted to not sign off until the job is done till your satisfaction.  Another point here is that the installers were in a rush to leave so we didn't sign off because we wanted to really inspect the job and see if anything needed more work.  There were only a few things on our list after we went over everything.  The installer came back did everything on the list and we are very happy with the results.

    I wanted an approved Certainteed roofer and received a quote from them last year, it was the lowest of 3. Called them this year, I needed the shingles replaced within 2 weeks because of the insurance time requirement. They came out within 2 days and re-quoted (same cost as before).  Within a week the job was done (in one day, 2 crews). No problems and no surprises.

    Terrible. I regret hiring this company. They were more than two weeks starting the job. The installation lacked pride of workmanship and care for the customer overall. They destroyed and shattered vintage bead board with roofing staples and nails. They didn't flash the dormers and the kitchen addition per code - they used tar. They didn't fulfill many aspects of the contract such as replacing rotted boards and trusses and installing eave venting. Gutters were hung incorrectly and don't drain properly. Don't hire this company for any type of work. Unfortunately this company is misrepresenting me in their response below. I did notify them immediately after the job was completed that I was unhappy with their work. They chose not to respond to my complaint until I filed complaints months later with the Better Business Bureau and the state of Michigan. We have delayed arbitration with the BBB since the case is before the state and the state is the legal, regulatory body that monitors code violations and shoddy workmanship. We find ourselves at this juncture because despite our request and the request of the local building inspector this past June this company refused to get a building permit to correct and repair all of code violations and shoddy workmanship. What company who wishes to provide great customer service does that? From our standpoint we were "had" and this is an ongoing disaster that I hope no one else will experience.

    Work started on time and finished fairly on schedule. Work was good, happy with overall appearance. Had worked with another contractor before and I didn't have to do a thing. With Dave, I had to do a lot of running and errands. I had to pick up tile and materials, make arrangements to have sink delivered from the company HE suggested, had to pick up and purchase a sink, Had problem with dishwasher installation. The dishwasher kept coming loose and would tip forward causing the racks to slide out. NUMEROUS calls to Dave to come back and fix. Never called back.

    GROVES APPLIANCE WAS ON TIME, FRIENDLY, AND DID QUICK WORK. IT SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF MONEY FOR REPAIR OF A HANDLE, BUT THEY DO HAVE A SERVICE FEE FOR EACH CALL THEY DO AND I UNDERSTAND THAT. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

    MY HUSBAND CALLED BAB & CO TO MAKE AN APPT. FOR A HAIRCUT, AS WE WERE NEW IN TOWN. GOT THE RECOMMENDATION FOR BAB & CO. FROM ANGIE'S LIST. THE RECEPTIONIST LEFT HIM HANGING ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES. ANOTHER STYLIST HAPPENED TO NOTICE THE HOLD LIGHT WAS BLINKING, PICKED IT UP AND WAS APPALLED AT THE RECEPTIONIST'S BEHAVIOR. THE SALON MANAGER CALLED MY HUSBAND TO APOLOGIZE THAT NIGHT. HE CALLED HER BACK THE NEXT MORNING AND GOT HIM AN APPT. WITH JILL, WHO WAS PROFESSIONAL AND REALLY LISTENED TO HIM. NO CHARGE FOR THE CUT BECAUSE OF THE INITIAL POOR SERVICE, BUT THEY APOLOGIZED, MADE UP FOR THE POOR SERVICE AND WE'LL BE GOING THERE FOR OUR HAIRCARE NEEDS.
