AStonebridge Kitchen & BathExcellent! I had certain ideas where some were good and some not so much. I appreciated how different ideas were shown without feeling I had lost my choice of a kitchen. I love the cupboards I choose and the installation was flawless. I would recommend Stonebridge Kitchen and Bath to anyone. In fact, they are designing the kitchen in our cottage and I can’t wait!- Linda S.

ACreative House Painting LLCOur favorite area she painted is our dining room because one entire wall has a base color with a stenciled overlay. It is absolute gorgeous and has received many, many compliments. Candice was reliable and conscientious, taking great care with trim and leaving no traces of paint in places it wasn't supposed to be. I have recommended her services to many people, and will gladly hire her in the future when we are ready for new colors.- Meranda L.

AHomestead 128My husband and I bought an old home in our town 5 years ago and have made a lot of updates to it. We freshened up the kitchen the best we could, however, it’s always been the one spot in the house we’d love to just start over with. The layout, the colors, the style….everything needed a little extra TLC in our eyes. That’s when we approached Becky Dempster for some design ideas. The layout and entire style of the space was spot on with our wish list and taste. Becky transformed our kitchen into an area that we enjoy spending time in and feel proud of when we invite people into our house. We would highly recommend Becky to anyone looking to design a new space!- Elizabeth V.

AChange of SpaceExcellent. Exceeded my expectations. All details were addressed and attended to. A designer done project speaks for itself in the end. I can not recommend her highly enough. Hire her, you won't be sorry!- Bonnie A.

AKSI Kitchen & BathWe worked with Jim McVeigh of the Macomb office. He worked with us on design of the kitchen and all associated choices, as well as a fireplace surround (we were replacing a current gas fireplace, and wanted cabinets surrounding it to give it a built-in look, sans any top cabinets, so we had ample room for a big TV). Jim was fantastic. He helped us make choices that kept the budget in check, while still achieving the overall look we were going for. He really helped on the fireplace cabinet design, selecting cabinets sizes/styles that worked for my storage needs (albums, CDs, DVDs, etc.) and sized appropriately for the space. He even went the extra mile to meet with the fireplace sales/install office to ensure all the measurements were accurate for proper installation, safety, and achieve the plan. We did our own deconstruction and removal of the cabinets. Mike Falzetta was our general contractor, who works with KSI often, and he was also fantastic. He met with us before we got the final quote to ensure he understood all our requirements. We removed can lights in the living/dining space adding different lights and new ceiling fans in different places, reconfigured the soffits (removal was too risky to the budget), reconstructed a small opening into the living/dining space making it much larger, in addition to all the work associated with the kitchen and fireplace install. Work began on time, Mike and his team were trustworthy professionals and consummate craftsmen. They were there when they said they would be, worked hard, communicated with us on any issue, cleaned up after themselves, and really made this as pleasant an experience being without a kitchen could be. We did our own painting, worked with a separate contractor for flooring installation, and did our own tile backsplash. Mike and crew worked very well with us, giving us ample notice on what was coming next, what we needed to do when, and Jim kept tabs on it all as well. Mike's crew is the best in the business, if you ask me. We had nothing but happy surprises (the opening into the living area ended up larger than we expected), and were tickled with the final outcome for both areas. Both spaces are gorgeous and we are happy with all our choices, and Jim for helping us get our vision right. I would absolutely work with KSI and Mike Falzetta again.- David J.

ADESIGNS BY GWENDOLYNWe have no complaints with our interior designer. The only thing she could improve on a little would be returning our calls a little quicker. It sometimes took a while for us to actually get in touch with her. She really has great ideas though and works well with her customers.- SUSAN S.

AFireplace Design CenterDo not do business with this company. It is owned by a man by the name of Peter Pone. I found this company when purchasing a gas log set. The company was listed on the Eiklor Flames website as an authorized dealer. I contacted Mr. Pone in October 2013 and ordered a set of Eiklor Flames gas logs. I paid Mr. Pone and he cashed my check. After a month I had not received the product. Mr. Pone then would not reply to my emails, calls or voice mail. I have spoken with the people at Eiklor and they have not been able to get a response from Mr. Pone either. They told me his credit card has been denied and he will not return their calls or emails. If you would like to verify this you can call me at 810-404-7801. This is being posted by a legitimate consumer, not a disgruntled employee or competitor. Mr. Pone is a crook and a con artist. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!- David T.

AWe have 2 small rooms that are a challenge for us to decorate. My husband is disabled & we require space for his motorized wheelchair, which further limits what we can do. Bryan, the owner, & Dorothy, our designer, listened to our requests & designed 2 beautiful rooms that maximize the limited space. Once we approved the design & furniture, they immediately provided a list of carpenters so we could get started on some built-in cabinetry. We were also provided with a list of all the furnishings & websites so we can purchase what we can afford. We had never used a design team before & I didn't know what to expect, but I'm so happy we did! Now we have a direction & vision of what we can do to truly utilize those rooms. We also have control over the budget & can do what we can afford as time goes on. Bryan & Dorothy were absolutely wonderful to work with & I would definitely use them again!!

AVery good experience! Kathy walked me through the entire process. She helped design and redesign my kitchen multiple times to get it exactly the way I wanted as I changed my mind multiple times. She was very patient and professional every step of the way. She informed me of the costs and I was very comfortable working with her. There was one cabinet door that was not sealed properly; she promptly took care of it and it was replaced at no charge to me. The most impressive part of the whole experience was that every time I walked in the door, the employees knew my name and welcomed me.

FDo not use this company!!! I contacted Wojahn Carpet & Furniture to replace all of the carpeting and flooring in our house in Oscoda, MI. This was a $7K job. We had a tight schedule as we were trying to sell the home, and the problems started with an unexpected delay to the start of the work after down-payment was made. After the work was completed - many quality defects were highlighted back to the business owner. After a week or so - a feeble attempt to correct the issues was made - but again the work was sub-standard and incomplete. I have filed a BBB complaint as well. I did speak to the business owner many times - providing an opportunity to resolve - but mostly what I got was attitude. I can't stress enough how unprofessional this company was - do not use them! The defects were significant - and I have had to hire a different person to correct the poor quality work done by Wojahn Carpet. Carpeting was laid over one of the air ducts, the quarter round molding had peeling paint (not prepared correctly) and the gaps between the flooring and some of the door jams was huge. When I called to report my concerns (also sent emails with pictures) I got a lot of excuses - but no real offer to make it right. I have finally given up on trying to work with them.

AI am very pleased with my new kitchen. In the planning phase Pam got a feel of what I wanted and followed through. She made some excellent suggestions and I never felt pressured into accepting her suggestions. The construction crew was eacellent. During the teardown they took the walls and ceiling right down to the studs. I was surprised at how little dust there was! Every evening when the crew was finished they cleaned up after themselves. During the process Pam stopped over to check on the progress and to see if I was pleased. I am so happy with the way the kitchen turned out that I am having her do my livingroom.
