    Sean, a service rep at Cox Collision, gave me an estimate to repair one part and replace another.  Initially, he did not look happy to see me,  He said it was a bad time.  My initial thought was, "What?  A bad time for business?"  However, before I had a chance to respond, he went outside, checked my car and wrote an estimate.    His attitude bothered me.  I believed he did not really want my business.   However, I ignored my first instinct to leave, and let him give the estimate.       After two weeks,  for convenience sake I decided to have the work done.   Near the end of the first week,  I called to check on parts they had ordered, and spoke with Sean.  He told me I'd have to wait till next week for the parts, and added that the part they painted would look better if they could put more labor into it.   He then asked if they could add more dollars to the cost.  I initially agreed, but later regretted doing so, believing that the original estimate should have stood. Late in the second week, I had not heard from Sean, so I called Cox to check if I could come in the next day to have the the two parts installed. The person answering told me Sean was not in, and they did not know where he was, but said I could come in.  The next morning I called and spoke with Ron, the owner, for the first time.   However, I felt very uncomfortable with his manner over the phone.  I asked if I could come in to have the parts installed, but in a loud, gruff, and abrupt tone he asked me to come another day.  When I told him I could not, and that I had been told I could come today,  he very reluctantly agreed, and told me I'd have to leave the car.  I brought it in shortly after, and spoke with a woman who got the owner.  I asked if I could see the part before it was installed.  Again, by his gruff manner and tone, he conveyed to me that he did not want to take me back to look at my part, but did so very abruptly.  The part was covered in a layer of dust so that I could not really see the work.  At first I planned to ask him to remove the dust, but thought I would ask Sean to do it because I felt the owner was very impatient.  I asked if Sean was there, and he said he was.  He then told me I could go up front and wait.  Then he just walked away, not  showing me the way back.  A moment later, Sean walked by.  I greeted him and asked a question about the part.  He looked right at me, but just kept on walking past me.  Both of them had abandoned me there in the middle of a strange shop all by myself. I felt Sean had deliberately ignored me and was very rude not to even respond.  I was uncertain how to get back to the office, and finally went through a door that I had thought Sean walked through.  I  found myself back in the front office, but Sean was nowhere to be seen.  The woman whom I had first met me was there.  I asked if she knew where Sean was.  i told her he ignored my question and walked away from me.   At that moment, Sean came out of another room.  I told him I thought he was very impolite when he did not respond to my question.  He then told me that I was very impolite to him.  That  second I then knew he had no respect or concern for his customers and was not interested in amending the situation.  He twisted the situation around by trying to take the focus off himself and place the blame on the customer for his rudeness and unprofessionalism.  I thought no one should ever be treated this way.  I then told them there is no such thing as customer service at Cox Collision,  and walked outside to my car to wait for my husband to come.    A short time later, my husband arrived.  He witnessed Sean coming outside with my car part and placing it on the concrete. He told us no one wanted to work on it.    That was fine with me because I didn't want to deal with a company that didn't have respect for its customers and was rude and unprofessional.  He then walked back to the door, and as he was going in, called me an insulting word beginning with the letter "B". I feel very strongly that Cox Collision has extremely bad attitude problems with this employee and the business lacks in good customer service policies.  However, I believe it all starts with the owner's attitude.  The employee just mirrors his boss. Anyone dealing with them should beware of the bad attitudes that poison this business.  Apparently, they think they can get away with shabby treatment of their customers.  They do not even understand the meaning of good customer service.
