AGrennan ConstructionGrennan Construction was one of the 3 companies we called for a quote to reside our home, and replace our gutters. We had used Grennan several years ago to reshingle my roof. They had done a great job then at a great price, so when we decide to redo our siding and gutters, they were one of the 3 companies we called for a quote. Fred Grennan came out, discussed the project, the product, his contract, and his and our expectations. When he called back and quoted his price, we immediately agreed on a deal. I am so glad we had Grennan do this job. His crew was outstanding, organized, efficient and thoroughly professional. They completed the job as agreed, and even took care of some modifications that we came up with at no additional charge. Dealing with Fred Grennan was a pleasure. His word is his bond and his aim to please is undeniable. We will definitely call upon him and his company for future needs.- Jon R.

I sat at my kitchen table for hours surfing the web and watching Ryan replace the skylight on my steep roof. Jeff explained that A-1 Vinyl doesn't do repairs, but he was super helpful and took the time to talk to me about my project even though he knew I wouldn't be hiring him. Nice to talk to someone who was straightforward instead of someone trying to sell me on something my home didn't need.

AI had them come out to do the trim & gutters and not the roof at first. The trim they installed improved the ventilation for attic. While they were out, I had the roof inspected for replacement. They discovered why the venting for the upstairs bathroom was inadequate. We had them come out in the fall to replace the roof, correcting the bathroom venting and installing better performing ridge ventilation. The first project took 2 day (1st day trim, 2nd day gutters) and the second was done in a day (subcontracted). Clean-up was thorough; the crews were industrious. The work looks really good a year later.

DJohn McCarter Construction installed three entry doors and one sliding glass patio door (2016) in a house that I recently purchased. Don't hire these guys unless you want every door installed incorrectly!!! Patio sliding glass door had 1/4" gap under the full door so every time it rained, water leaked into the basement damaging the drywall and rotting out the subfloor along with the joists. They did not put caulk down before installing the door. They put OSI foam, then flashing on top of the foam then installed the door on top of the flashing thinking the foam would expand and seal the bottom of the door. One entry door was hung on an angle and was touching on the bottom seal while the top had a 1/2 gap between the door and seal. The other two doors, the striker plates were install incorrectly and the doors were not against the door seals. So every time it rained, water was coming in these doors also and rotten out the subfloor and door frames. They install windows and did not remove a down spout gutter to caulk the flashing. So they left one window with a 3/4" gap along the whole side. If the gutter backed up, water would run down the outside of the down spout into the gap between the flashing and siding getting water into the house. It's like dumb and dumber construction.... Bruce Ellis is totally useless and full of excuses of why this was not their fault. A good company stands behind their work and fixes any issues they created.... not this company...
